Completely wasted my time and lied to me tell me that I was approved when I was not. If you do not make 10 times more money then you need they lie and say you got the loan when you did not get anything. Was doing a virtual closing. But they did not tell me that we could not use a cell phone. This was late Friday. Come Monday all of a sudden I do not make any money and will not give me the loan. I hate this credit union!

Just left the branch been a member since 1987 home loans, car loans, savings checking acts. They would only loan me half of what I needed for a rv loan. I have 1/2 of that rv loan in checking and savings. I have an equity line with a balance of 15,000 on a 400,000 dollar home. That 15,000 is all I own on my home. I left there bewildered I just can’t believe that happened to me. I payed off a 6 yr 50,000 truck loan in January. Never a late payment. They have lost their minds and banking sense. They have lost me after 36 years. Sad day hope someone running the Circus reads these. Ps I didn’t want to leave a star they made me.

Opened an auto Loan with them in 2016. Traded my car in 2018 but left my savings account open so I could start a savings for my 5 year old son or as an in case of emergency fund, but because I haven't been taking money out, the bank has been charging me an inactivity fee of 5$ a month for the past 3 years. They have taken a considerable amount of money and never notified me about it. They had a phone number that I didn't even recognize and a very old address listed for me. They are so behind in the times that their only way of communicating is through snail mail. When the only info they had correct for me was my email. They are now refusing to return the money! God forbid you become incapacitated, they will just drain your account without even letting you or your family know. Terrible customer service and in my opinion what they are doing is criminal. Stealing from their clients.

They took our application for a HELOC and messed up so much, it's scary. They were incompetent to say the very least. Go at your own risk.

I recently had a problem with my auto draft setting creating a double mortgage payment. Amanda **** at the branch on Dunlawton Ave in Port Orange straightened it out. She followed up with me very quickly and did so in a very professional and friendly manner. I would have to say that this has been another example of the great service i have received at Space Coast, when I deal directly with a person as the branch. Sometimes not so much when I try to get in touch with the right person through member services. OveralL, I am very satisfied with the people at SCCU.

This is by far the absolute worse bank i have ever dealt with … So bad that i just had to leave this review anywhere and everywhere it would allow lets start off with ***** … Granted the company is very new with this feature but as a current employee of much higher institutions and even other well known companys i know first hand that training is provided theres no way space coast provided any training on how to handle ***** .. no body is on the same page i received different excuses with the course of 3 hours trying to resolve my ***** issue and still left with no resolutions… i simply made a mistake and sent a yea instead of yes when asked to verify the transaction and the restricted my account the first rep told me “find another bank you cant ***** with us because your phone number is fraud” like excuse me??? I just opened up my business account with this company and boy am i glad i didnt start putting my finances here because as i type im on hold going on 40 mins because i need them to temporary raise my atm withdrawal limit so i can take my money out and close the account and they are telling me they cant when it was just done yesterday…. Im blown by this bank and never ever again because bank of america would neverrr !!

I’ve had a savings account with this institution for over a decade. I never bothered to look at the account. As savings implies just what it is and I shouldn’t have to look at it until I need it. A little over a month Agro I checked it out when I was in need. Come to find for many years they’ve been charging this account with a service fee that never existed before. The account is more than half depleted. They explained the fee is for not using the account. What kind of use am I supposed to do with a savings account? This is a scam of some sort I’m sure. What a joke this institution has proven to be. No means of recovering these loses. The representatives tell me there’s nothing they can do. I imagine when the balance goes to zero they will then send me to collections and ruin my perfect credit to fund their theft of other members funds. Don’t trust these people.

I opened my SCCU account when I was 18. I'm now closing in on 23, had tens of thousands run through the account as I worked small jobs in different industries (some seasonal), worked some cash jobs, paid a load of bills, paid for some wants, and paid for many more needs. I held over $10k consistently in the account for about 2 years. Modern services from them were always on the painful side, as their app was atrocious for quite a while, but at least they seemed to be solid as far as their customer service went. Had few complaints from them, used them as my primary account up until this point. So, then, I ask, if I've been a member for this long, have this much account history of income and handled expenditures, a credit score of about 670, and have $2.5k to put down... why can't I be trusted with a short term used auto loan without a cosigner? I trusted them with my money for going on 5 years, they can't trust me with theirs for less than half that? Oh gee, I've had more than one job in one particular industry over the course of those years, and that's enough to relegate me to the "untrusted" box? That's pretty much what I was told on the phone. Listen, I'd understand if I was a fresh account or call-in wanting to get financed, but I've been with them my entire adult life up to this point. They have almost my entire financial history--zero debt, positive cash flow, and more than enough income to cover any monthly they could throw at me short of a whole grand. Yeah, get out of here. If you want a place to tuck your money, do it in a jar, because you should trust them about as much as they're willing to trust you.

I applied for an auto refi, I gave them information about the car and my financial. The person handling was communicating through the process. She HAD the car info and all. They gave me an approval for the amount ask. Then the last thing after pulling my credit and all they ask " hi, we just need the VIN to complete the loan," I send them the VIN and the next day they declined the loan. The person who was handling my loan just ghost me with out any even the curtesy to tell me they declined the loan after all of that. You could have easily determine the value of the car WAY before all this effort when the info is all published. I applied for a few options they either ask you for a VIN or PLATE in the beginning. It's not private info you need the social to access. Very unprofessional and waste of time.

I had fraudulent transactions on my SCCU account about 2 weeks ago. I have since been dealing with online services and multiple branches with no resolution in sight. All I've been attempting to do is deposit a check and move on with my life but I've gotten no help whatsoever, I've been locked out of my account, I've had checks deposited online discarded with no reasoning why and for every answer I have to drive to a branch, causing me to miss hours at work. This has been an all around terrible and incredibly frustrating experience and I will never deposit another red cent into an SCCU account.
