  I'm a pre-Medicare woman of 59. I retired early from public school teaching with no health insurance. MediShare is a perfect match for my health needs, but, understand- THIS IS NOT INSURANCE! It is a bill sharing program. If you want regular health insurance, please visit the Marketplace. I chose a MediShare plan with an Annual Household Portion (like a deductible) of a certain level that I can afford in an emergency. I'll only exceed that amount if I have a serious health issue. Otherwise, I consider myself a self-paying person. My doctor... the same doctor for years who happens to be on MediShare's provider list... charges uninsured people amounts that are significantly lower than "insurance" amounts. I take note of blood work and mammogram "specials" which are geared to self-pay clients. I have found MediShare to have excellent "customer service" and, it provides telehealth and dental/vision discount programs. Full disclosure... this is a CHRISTIAN health care need sharing ministry. I, personally, share the same values as MediShare and feel that my health care needs will be covered if or when those bills exceed my AHP. In the meantime, I know exactly who my shares are helping and can pray for those people.

  Our family of four has been with Medishare since 2015. I cant say enough good things about Medishare. I had breast cancer two years ago and any time i had questions or needed help regarding coverage, their staff was fantastic! Its very affordable. You never know when you will face a crisis. The best thing, in my opinion, is anytime you call regarding anything their staff will always pray with you. You dont get that with health insurance! What better thing can anyone do for you, PRAY! Thank you Medishare for all your caring staff that has helped my family over the years!

  I was very leary about using a sharing ministry to help cover me and give me peace of mind for the "just incases" that happen in life. However, after having a "just in case" happen in my life in January of this year "fell and broke my ankle and needed surgery to place 9 pins and a plate in it" I have no doubts any more about their legitimacy. I have never been more surprised by the way they took care of things. I covered my share portion and they covered everything after that. I had no back and forth with the hospital or doctors concerning bills. In fact, the only way I knew they had received the bills were after they had been paid. And they were paid on time without me having to provide additional information. I have never felt more cared for or trusted a company more than I do Medishare with taking care of me or my family. I will always recommend Medshare and now that I had my own experience with a major bill I can give a legitimate response to how well they will respond and share the medical bills as stated. I don't know why anyone would choose traditional insurance when Medishare is so much more. And I can't end before I say how much I appreciated their prayer every time I call with a question as well as the prayer blog that you can post your prayers and respond to those needing prayer. Great job Medishare. Way to do what the Bible states in taking care of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

  Medi-Share is a great, inexpensive alternative for people who are in good health and don't require doctors and prescriptions. We are health seekers and prefer a well-care system versus the more common sick-care approach.
  
  Medi-Share gives us peace of mind with reasonable, easy to manage rates.

  This is an awesome Christian company. They are there to help you and you are not just a number. You are a human being who needs help that they provide along with excellent Christian support. I highly recomend them. I’m an MD myself and I know about insurance companies. Medishare is way different and so superior!

  I cannot ever find a doctor that I need. They are not helpful when you call them. Be ready to spend multiple hours calling hundreds of doctors to see if they will accept you or not.

  Hello Fathom, Medi-Share apologizes for any difficulty you may have experienced finding in-network providers. Medi-Share's preferred provider organization for your region is Private Health Care System (PHCS) and you can locate PHCS providers in your area through this link to their website which they update daily: ***********************************************************************************************************. You can also contact PHCS directly at 877-302-7427 for assistance. We recommend that you confirm a provider's affiliation with PHCS when calling for an appointment. It is more important to confirm a provider's affiliation with PHCS than to ask if they accept Medi-Share as it is possible that a provider may not have heard of Medi-Share. But if a provider is in the PHCS network, then they must see you as per their PHCS contract. Please also give Medi-Share a call at 800-264-2562 for assistance. Thank you very much.
