Booked a cruise within 3 weeks of sailing I was notified my port locations have been changed. Heading to places where it was a lot cheaper to book in the first place. Absolute fraud. Stay away.

The website only lets you add 2 *****ren so I called Royal Carribean and was told to book the Oceanview since it shows it holds 1 to 6 people and to call in to add my 3rd ***** so I did that and when I called to add the other ***** they said they didn't have any Oceanview rooms that hold 5 people available and they were trying to get me to pay another $1000 to get the suite and wouldn't do anything to for the misinformation. Also why in this day and age can't the website be more updated so you can put more than 2 *****ren in and it can let you know if there isn't a room available right at the time of booking. Instead of booking online and then calling in to add another ***** as I was told by the customer service representative when I initially called in. Fortunately it was within the 24 hour period so I was able to get a full refund. Unfortunately we won't be traveling with Royal Carribean again

Deceptive practice or Improper training:I called Royal Caribbean to cancel my Dads cruise ticket because he requires full-time nursing home care. During my call, the customer service person informed me I could make a Medical Reason request to recover a greater percentage of my dad's cancelled ticket; however, the customer service person did not tell me of the condition that prior to cancelling the ticket the Medical Reason must be submitted. Knowing what i knew, I decided to cancel the ticket and pursue the Medical Reason at a future time. A few days later when I submitted my Medical Reason request for a larger percentage of my dad's cancelled ticket, my request was rejected due to the Medical Reason prior to cancellation policy. In my view, in not telling me the Medical Reason prior to cancellation policy, the customer service person was being deceptive or was improperly trained, so that Royal Caribbean didnt have to pay back a larger percentage of my dad's cancelled ticket.Thank you

Scheduled a cruise last February. My flight was supposed to arrive 4 1/2 hours prior to sailing time. Obviously I thought I had plenty of time. My flight kept getting delayed. Finally I realized that we would not make it in time. I called Royal Caribbean to inform them we would not make the cruise. They basically told me tough luck no refund. I asked for a voucher for another cruise and again - no. So be aware this cruise line will s**** you given the chance. Also wrote letter explaining situation. Two 70+ who worked through the pandemic and saved for this trip. It was going to be a thank you for my wife you worked everyday during pandemic. We did not even get a response from them. So do not spend your hard earned money with these people who are only in this for your $.

Royal Carribean in September offered cancellation for a Carribean cruise in an E-mail. I never received the e-mail. They said it was auto sent to everyone. On the Seranade of the seas ship I asked the guest service *** to look at my e-mails and show me. She could not find it. **************** said that e-mails were sent out and they were not going to do anything.

We recently went on a ROYAL Caribbean cruise and the service was not good at all. In addition, we booked a shore excursion in ******* that was horrible. We booked through Royal Caribbean and when we told the guest services **** said they couldn't help us remedy the situation and would need to contact headquarters when we got home. I contacted them today and they blamed a third party. Asked for a partial refund and they said so sorry, no. This is the second time we've taken Royal Caribbean and been disappointed. Will never cruise them again. Between the bad service on the boat and the service we received when we returned we will never do this again. We Cruise two to three times a year and will use another Cruise Line like we have in the past.

We booked a 4 stop Bahamas cruise that got re-routed for potential bad weather to a *************************************************** that we could have booked at a fraction of the cost. The night before the cruise when we found out, we tried to cancel and refund our trip as the new itinerary wasnt safe for cruising with kids if we wanted to get off the boat at the ports. Royal Caribbean wouldnt refund us our cruise. We had originally chosen a cruise that was safer to walk to beaches and booked one excursion with kids. The new itinerary, we were told wasnt safe to venture outside of most of the ports and didnt allow children on most of the excursions. We did book one excursion on a port that had one kids could go one, but paid way more for it as we were paying a premium since we had to book it during the cruise. We were stuck on the ship for most of the cruise with limited activities. The food was less than satisfactory. They offered the same choices almost every day for breakfast and lunch. The food wasnt very good or seasoned. We requested more towels 3 times through the ** code they said to use. We never received any of them. We had a lifeguard tell us our kid couldnt be in the pool because she was not potty trained when she was actually potty trained. Even when we explained the situation they still refused to believe she was. The entertainment/shows were also a disappointment. The comedy and juggler were so terrible people sitting beside us left three minutes into the show with many following. We were disappointed there werent shows offered every night. We booked a room for 4 people and gave the ages of our children for a room that showed a king bed and pull-out couch and we were going to use a crib for our youngest. When we called to reserve the crib, they told us that our room did not have a pull-out couch but had beds that folded out from the ceiling. This is not what was pictured online when we reserved and not ideal for 2 year-old.

HORRIBLE customer service. We were looking forward to first time cruise with Royal Caribbean. Unfortunately my husband has to have heart surgery instead. It's kind of important. We bought the trip insurance but were told we need to cancel first. (Of course). NOW we're have a problem. You call the customer service number and are told you will be on hold for 2 1/2 hours! Not kidding. I called a different number and got a call back option. I guess they did call. After we went to bed. sent texts and e-mails and they"can't do anything through e-mail".I have never encountered such bad customer service!! We were considering getting a credit for another cruise, but I really don't think we want to deal with this company after this.

Mariner of the Seas left for ****** on 10/28/2024. The cruise was advertised as a family friendly cruise, but apparently the unsold rooms were filled by a **************** preying on my minor children. With an alternative Swingers group taking the other half of the empty rooms. We were sexually accosted, offered drugs, asked to join *** parties and my son was chased into a public bathroom and offered ***, he was offered drugs, and alcohol at the pool bar by middle aged gay men. This cruise was not family friendly. When we complained the staff did nothing. The adult only pool was a ***** ******* area, the 5th deck was a ****** and gay sexual hook up area, they had *** sign up white boards on their doors to schedule your turn, and we found drugs on the floor everyday!!!. We have complained but Royal Caribbean will not respond. - Think twice before booking a cruise with your family.

They didn't have an accessible room available so I had to cancel. They charged me 100 dollars to cancel. But it was due to their lack of availability. Not fair.
