We closed on 8/9/24 and now we have holes in our walls because they crossed the water lines. They are talking about having to tear up the foundation or going through the ceiling to add new water lines. The construction manager promised this would be fixed before closing and now I'm sitting with a hole in the floor for where my toilet should be. All the water lines were put in backwards. We cannot access our mail because the keys are incorrect for the mailbox so we have been waiting 10 days and still can't get into our mailbox. The new home consultant and construction manager are not responding and the warranty manager just keeps apologizing for all of the issues. What recourse do we have? This is pathetic. This "Lennar Experience" has been horrifying and we are nowhere done with the water issue. We are frustrated and aggravated. ******* and ***************************** *********************************************************************

I have mold growing on my bathroom walls also on the baseboards I have contacted lennar to come and fix this issue this is a brand new home so I still have my one year warranty they sent out a specialist out and he painted over the mold within 24 hours the walls were back brown and the mold began to grow over the paint the mold is spreading into our bathroom wall. Lennar contacted us and stated they would fix the matter but changed there minds last minute do not buy lennar homes if you value your money and health we have been dealing with this issue for months and have not gotten anything resolved. The sub division wis call prosperty lakes. RUN do not buy from this company. I would rate them a zero If I could.

They deserve 0 stars. Worst mistake ever. Will never again buy a house with lennar or recommend them to anybody. Out sales lady and manager in ft Myers Florida lied to us about an important issue we had before we put in an offer and signed a contract. Now they don’t want to fix there must up and we are stuck in a contract with a much higher payment all thanks to them. We pacifically asked if this was in a flood zone and do we need flood insurance they said NO we are not in flood zone and NO FLOOD INSURANCE IS REQUIRED. Well guess what we are and we do so now our payment goes up 200 a month and the sales manager says oh well you can still qualify for it w the amount so you can’t cancel your contract. I get on paper we qualify but can we afford it NO.

The worst customer care communication. Wasted multiple days waiting for scheduled service for no one to show up. Wasted pto and my own time multiple times. Would not recommend Lennar to any of my friends. Its a shame I had high hopes when I bought.

Lennar Homes is absolutely terrible, almost traumatic. My mom had put $10,000 down as a deposit for a home, and during that time, I had an injury at my job (and I have proof of this) for which I to go rest at home for a bit. I tried to go back but because of my injury I couldnt. I got another job not long after this. The reason for mentioning this is because the lender, *********************, NEVER let us know that if I was unemployed, he could no longer hold the deposit. He even sent out a cancellation letter and referred us to other lenders. In fact, he was extremely negligent and careless; went on vacation and would not respond to any of our texts or calls. Not even his assistant. This is not acceptable. From the beginning he provided us with very little information, didnt give us any explanations as to what would happen if we became unemployed, and overall was just very poor with his services. My credit score went down 20 POINTS!! So ridiculous. I dont want to have my deposit held for another property, I just want the money back. On the original agreement there was nothing that mentioned us not getting our deposit back. This experience has been a nightmare. Please contact me!

***** total complaints in the last 3 years.343 complaints closed in the last 12 months.1.23 of 5 stars Think there is a problem here? From reading the complaints it seems that "Management" makes a lot of accusatory remarks but fails to solve any problems.I tried to purchase a home from them myself and i can verify that a lot of the complaints are not only true but very valid. Here's my story. Ill make it short and sweet. As a matter of fact i have documentation, emails and text to verify everything I'm saying. The simple version of the story is i am a Disabled Veteran who recently received a promotion based on my merit with the company i work for. i decided it was time to buy a home for my self and my son. I make 122K a year (verifiable), i have good credit, and reserves in the bank. In addition to my good paying job i receive a check from the military which i will receive for the rest of my life monthly. They denied financing due to me getting such a substantial raise at my job is the short story. They cited falsehoods on the denial and when i spoke to them about the concern, The president of my company personally did a Verification of salary and employment for their finance ***** When i spoke to their "manager" in the mortgage ***** he stumbled over his words continually trying to explain, and now refuses to call me back. so, i placed a formal complaint with documentation to the ***** the local states attorney, and the BBB. I also had a local elected official after reviewing the documents (this individual has an extensive background in law) tell me "This is a blatant case of disregard, and truthfully i would get a lawyer." He then followed it up with this statement " I would tell this story to anybody who would listen, and furthermore you need to contact the VA, your state rep, and anyone else to make this known. It looks a lot like discrimination to me." I've contacted a lot of people and they all wanna talk about this.so i will oblige them. Stay tuned.

I wish there were an option for no stars. We were so elated to buy our first home from Lennar. Everyone was friendly and responsive. We noticed several issues during our walk through/inspection but were reassured that it would all be fixed before we moved in. We did final walk through and found that several major issues (cracked sink, bent garage door, broken cabinet/drawers) had not been fixed. They had attempted to cover the broken cabinet instead with putty. We were once again told it would be fixed before move in that was to follow in the following week. Moved in only to find it wasnt fixed and they told us we now needed to go through their customer service to have it fixed as we now occupied the property. Weeks later customer service said they would schedule someone to come inspect the issues to get repairs scheduled. They never showed. Again I was told it would be rescheduled and assured it would be fixed. I have a newborn and my husband has had to take off with multiple times to accommodate. And we get no call no shows. The garage was finally fixed and painted but still I am waiting on the rest. Again today there was no call, no show for cabinets and vanity. I cant use half my bathroom for a brand new house. For anyone thinking of buying a lennar house I would say stay away.
