      Got charged $89 for carry on on the gate. Really? What. rip off! I always fly spirit with the family. Not anymore! ***********************

      I purchased a ticket with Spirit for my daughter and toddler to travel to visit us at Christmas. She had COVID during that time and had to cancel. Spirit issued a credit voucher at that time to allow us to use when she was well. I could not use it to reschedule and called and was on hold for 1.5 hours and booted off the call. I had to book her with another airline to get her here for the week after Christmas. I tried to utilize the credit for a trip for myself and husband (we purchased on our credit card) and called when it did not work. I was told that it would work if the person on CC was the first person on the reservation and it did not work again. I tried without success. This was nearly 250 dollars. I contacted Spirit about this recently and they sent me an email (that I am willing to share) that they will help me use my credit in the email, but by the end of email said they would not be able to help me. I asked them to escalate to a supervisor, but the same person said that gave us an extension and no more ext. I replied that if you say you are giving an extension and it does not work, then it truly is not an extension. Bad business overall, but we gave them a chance to transport our family ( used them for over 13 years). I would like a credit/cash and an apology.

      Let me start by saying if I could give this RATCHET airline a negative stars I would On 7/19 I flew from *** (****************************** *******) to Mps (***********) with a layover in ***(********) now mins you I flew into ***** with my personal item( brief case) I get to the gate and not only was the agent at the gate RUDE but she was GET THE **** SLAPPED OUTTA YOU unprofessional, I was forced to pay ***** for my brief case to come aboard the flight, along with at least 30 other passengers. Then on my way back to ******* from MN on 7/21 I went to the ticket desk to add a newborn to my ticket, at this time I checked the babys bag and proceeded to our gate. I get to the gate baby and I are boarding the plane. The agent saysput this green ticket on the car seat and leave it at the door I did once at *** (********) the transfer these idiots missed the message to put the babys car seat and bag on its connecting flight to *******. Once in ******* waiting this newborns chair and bag, I was disrespected and cursed out by SPIRIT employees because I was looking for a newborns car seat, I was given a loaner by a great Employee in the office and one of the flight attendants was great but over all it was a Nightmare. If possible NEVER EVER USE SPIRIT. Their customer service and business ethics are questionable at best. I rate this airline a negative -1m ??.

      Awful customer service. We missed our connecting flight due to our first flight being delayed 40 minutes. We had 15 minutes to get to our plane and it took 20 between the terminals. Spirit said we were a no show and wont get a refund

      Horrible I have a phone record of me calling to cancel my flight and spirit wont refund me my points. I attached my call log I have downloaded. The representative did not cancel my flight on June 24, 2022 nor did she send a cancellation email. This company took my money and processed a flight that was declined with my credit card. This flight should not have been book. Refund my money I will be reporting this. I called spirit to cancel this flight on June 24, 2022 which was 24 hours in advance

      My fiance and I planned a trip through Spirit Airlines. Due to personal reasons we had to cancel our flight less than 24 hours prior to leaving. I followed the text app promps correctly and my cancellation was submitted. A week went by and no refund was issued so I called. The lady stated we just did not board our flight and nothing was cancelled. I advised I did have screenshots of the texts confirming the cancellation was submitted. She stated I had to actually chat with a rep to get a credit. When I asked about getting a refund which is what I requested she stated only a credit would be provided .Nothing that I could find on their websites show no refunds will be provided. Only that a full refund would be issued if its 24 hours or less and flights 7 days out it would be a full refund. Poor customer service. So needless to say they charged me the cancellation fee and no refund. I will NEVER recommend this airline to anyone. I would not even give them one star.

      Spirit Airlines is the worst airline ever, their customer service is also the worst!!! DO NOT use their airline service!!!
