      Spirit Airline is a total rip off. They do not advertise the correct baggage fee online and when you do reach to the airport the charge a whopping $70 for the first check bag. They do not save us any money when traveling. And no government regulation agency seem to care about the consumers. Its crazy how they get bail out funds and turn around an rip us off. Now granted it's 8/04/2022 at 4:50 pm eastern time.

      Awful worst flight ever. Was on a 4 hour flight from ***** to *********. We literally sat on plane 1 hour before taking off. Weather was great too so Im unsure why the delay occurred because no one told us anything. **************** was no help when I checked in at ***** fir my return flight and literally walked away when I was asking for help. Yeah the tickets are cheap but after you pay all the extras for luggage and a soft drink/ snack on plane, it adds up to be as much if not more than a nicer airline seat.

      Attempted to connect with customer service. Would not provide a customer service phone number but had to connect via online chat. Just tried to add TSA number unsuccessfully. Stood in line for 20 minutes to seal with customer rep but line did not move and had to clear Security before boarding flight. Got to gate and first person I spoke with said I had to be charged $89 to check my carry on. Tried for over 2 hours to speak with a human and the only one I was able to interact with was a person who would not let me board until paying $89 for a 36X12 inch bag. Was told few could have been avoided if we had spoken with customer service prior to arriving to gate. We wasted hours trying!

      Worse airline ever!!! Customer service is useless and they never give you your money back. I can go on. Very disappointed and frustrated Im currently disputing this charge with my bank and the last time I sent a complaint to spirit guest relations they never got back to me. Just stay away or know that if you pay anything to this company you wont see your money back ever!!! I got covid and I was in the hospital I couldnt travel. They refused to refund my money.

      One star too many. I made sure when I purchased this flight in March 2022 for Nov 2022 through expedia.com, that I could get a refund on the tickets. Today, July 28, I had to cancel due to a dental emergency that will require surgery. I had to call to get a live person, Chat and website were useless, and I was told that the $528 charged for the flight would not be refunded. Instead, they offered credit. I could use that money toward another flight/ service with Spirit within three months, and get another three months later if I needed an extension. Unfortunately, Im going to be recovering both financially and physically from the reason that caused me to cancel, so Im screwed. When I called and spoke to a representative it was just a hard stop.

      Purchased a ticket for my grandson to travel from ********* to ***********, ** on May 22. Dates where June 18 thru June 25th. Online promotion was offered at ****** round trip. June 15th Airborntraveler, a third party cancelled the flight said it was over booked and a refund was in progress for the ******. I was told the promotion was over and I had to pay more money. Of course I wanted my grandson to come for a visit so I paid the price of ******. I have called both Spirit and Airborntraveler to get my refund and both said it was going to be refunded but don't have it yet. Now when I call I get put on hold and they disconnect me. I paid a total of ****** for a ticket, we travel there often and never paid that with any of the airlines. Spirit want even give me a credit. It is the principal of it all. I don't have money to just give to airlines. Never will I deal with them again.

      ZERO Stars. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRANDED.TOXIC **************************************** Culture. Stranded family of 3 in ********* late night with NO recourse except to wait > 48 hours to flyout without any accommodations NOR attempt to reach out partner airlines for support OR "we can refund you the segment and you can rebook with another airline" with a veil financial threat of "and just you know..once your decision is made, we cannot help you without charging you." Heard this 2x, once in person at Ticket Agent (LAS) and via phone with Supervisor of customer service. Supposedly FL were having weather issues thus flight delay (> 6 hours) yet OTHER airlines have ZERO problems in transporting their passengers with flights. When there is a will there is a way. RUDE gate agents (ALL 4) at ********* boarding on Flight #**** (LAS to SMF) on SAT 7/23. UNPROFESSIONAL ticket agent more focused on being social to colleagues than supporting paid customer with a "there is nothing we can do." "they don't allow us to XYZ" with an immediate smile to colleagues leaving "hey....you getting off? bye bye" in 2 separate incidents. CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE USELESS in getting resolution. Called 3x consecutively (have called logs as proof) Explained 6x because once for primary customer service and once again to escalating to supervisor. Each time resulting into "Let me see what I can do." then...LINE goes dead (hung up).Really speaks volume when an airline is NOT part of BBB.org and folks are still filing complaints to warn the public. DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE!!!

      Theyre charging 79.00$ for 40lb luggage they let me know I was bare fare after purchasing the ticket I was told my carry on would be 59.00$ They didnt give a drink of nothing the whole flight, no money no drinks horrible lines horrible costumer services

      the spirit company is the worst airline in the world. On July 25, 2022 I had to travel to the ****************** and I had to make a stop in ***** because they were the cheapest flights they had for that date at that time, so I decided to travel by this airline even over the bad comments that I had heard about them. I arrived at my airport super early, about three hours before because I always like to be early when I am going to travel in case there is any inconvenience along the way. The situation is that I had already been waiting for about 4 more hours apart from the 3 that I already had and what they said was simply that the trip was delayed and they did not apologize to the clients for the delayed. There were people in that place waiting for 10 hours and at the end they canceled their flight. please do not travel by this airline ever in your lives. The worst customer service I have ever experienced was with this airline. I would never travel through this airline even if the give me for free the flight. the solution to my problem was to ask for a refund and buy a flight on jetblue the next day. WARNING: Do not travel ever in your lives through this airline.

      The fact that 3/4 of my planned flights with Spirit were delayed is disgusting! Reservation CC1P8F. My original departing flight was at 6:43 p.m. Thursday evening July the 14th. It was delayed two and a half hours. When we finally made it to ********* airport, the next flight was delayed 3 hours. Airport Personnel announced the lack of pilots, but we were later told it was inclement weather from thousands of miles away. At 1:30 in the morning it was announced that my flight had been canceled. I waited an hour and in a ticketing line only to be told the next connecting flight would leave Monday and it was 2:30 a.m. on saturday. I was forced to reserve a flight with Delta for an extra $200 to get to my destination for a family emergency. Fast forward to my return trip that was also delayed after having already spoken with supervisor Sino as well as employees with number *******, *******, and supervisor ***** ****** who promised me a call back that never happened. I've flown with Spirit many times and this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had flying ever!
