      Similar story as to all the other reviews shared. Highly recommend seeking care elsewhere. Awful experience from the beginning. When calling there was no option to update insurance and then when connected to a doctor, the doctor simply hung up on the call after stating they couldnt do anything for my condition. No pause or question to see if there was anything else. Had to call back to see how to update insurance to be sure it was billed correctly. They said they couldnt bill to the right insurance and I had to submit my own claim. No problem! Once I did that and provided the claim number, I was assured that I would not be billed the $89 since insurance covers the cost. About a month later, I was billed the $89 and then when I go to verify next steps with insurance, I discover that MD Live did file a claim after stating they couldnt file a claim to the right insurance since I used the wrong account. Turns out my claim was denied due to a duplicate claim submitted by MD Live. They are a joke and a waste of time. Im hours into trying to resolve this issue that should have been addressed when calling for care. Not user friendly. Awful customer care and service. All they were concerned with was making sure I knew which was the current account to use in the future despite me already communicating my concerns and intentions on never using this service again.

      I have called multiple times. I'm expecting a call back from a supervisor, but I already know they won't address this issue, if they actually call. I was charged as uninsured, even after calling with my insurance company to verify to them to charge me the co pay instead. I did everything I was instructed to do, yet you are still charging me as if I were uninsured and refuse to provide further assistance, saying that my issue is a priority for review by a team after two months of waiting. They will never address the charge. This company is unethical, they told me it would be a co pay before the appointment, they assured they could help with my referral. After 2 minutes they ended the meeting saying they didn't do referrals for lab work. They said since it was over a 2 minute call I'd still be charged. I have already addressed this with several people, several times, over several months. They say a team will handle it. It's been almost 3 months, with no progress.

      They are terrible. This is the online company that ***** uses. I have used them twice, both awful experiences. Latest was a sinus infection, I get them twice a year for the last 20+ years so I know the symptoms. They told me that I didnt have a sinus infection and that it would go away on its own, it didnt so I have to go to urgent care who gave me an antibiotic and I was feeling better 3 days later. I feel bad for anyone that has to pay for this service. Luckily for me its at no cost. (Probably because they cant help you).

      Horrible. They go through my insurance so I used them to try to get a sleep med for my insomnia. The doctor gave me ten minutes and prescribed a medication I told her had made me stop breathing when I was younger. She said "well, quite a few years have passed since then so try it again". So, I tried it and it did help me to sleep. The only problem was it tried to put me in a bit more of a permanent sleep then I wanted. Had my boyfriend not been there to wake me up when I stopped breathing, I probably still would be sleeping. When I called mdlive to complain and ask them to do something about the doctor. They said they have no control over their doctors and couldn't do anything. They also misbilled my insurance so my insurance wouldn't cover the entire appointment and refuse to rebill it because they'd have to resubmit a claim and "here at MDLive we do our best to get the claim right the first time, so we never resubmit." A good quote from one of their representatives. However, my favorite was when I was really upset on a phone call with one of their agents and asked "Let me get this straight, your business model is to provide people substandard medical care, possibly killing them along the way, and then pretty much scamming them out their hard earned money?" The agent replied "Yes." and then, of course, quickly tried to cover up their response. You know it's bad when even their employees agree with you.

      Scheduled an appointment with MDLive for a service that was listed on their website. Once on the call, they said they could not provide that service, but I was charged for the visit. I called MDLive to explain what had happened, but they refused to provide a refund. Had I checked the BBB website before making that appointment, I would have seen that MDLive is BBB rated F, which indicates the lowest level of consumer confidence in a business. I should not have trusted MDLive.

      My daughter has an earache, she has been up all night with pain taking *********. Its not working. Filled out info on mdlive. They gave her some off the wall diagnosis' that has nothing to do with ears(herpes of the throat or something )saying it goes away in seven days and to take ********* after I clearly marked that it was not helping. Then after I complain I speak with a different ********************* ****** *******, MD she specializes in ears by the way. I tell her the symptoms and she says shell be fine to take over the counter medication,after I ask her about other symptoms she talks over me while Im trying to talk and says if your going to yell at me Im hanging up on you and she seriously hangs up on me and then has the audacity to send a completed report thats not complete at all because you cant complete a doctors appointment with only the Doctor. You have to have a patient!!!!!

      I had MDLive through my health insurance from a contract job and unfortunately as the contract ended I was going to lose my health insurance until my next position which I thankfully have but there would be a gap. I received a medication discount card for my specific brand of insulin and stated so to the doctor. I specifically asked for the same brand I have used for years despite having to use a different healthcare because of insurance only allowing certain places (Like MDLive). I was told I would be getting all of the medication I needed prescribed, including that insulin. When I got to the pharmacy, the completely changed the brand of insulin and I was unable to afford it and could not get my insulin. I then had to go to the urgent care of MDLive and have them give me a new prescription for the right medication. The doctor informed me that MDLive has deals with certain medications companies and will switch out your other meds for their brands without informing you. For anyone who needs specific brands of medications, do not end your doctor's appointment without specifically stating you need THAT brand and even then, they still might change it. I truthfully don't understand how they are allowed to change your medications without informing you first?? I don't understand how it's legal to do that and now I'm yet again waiting on my insulin and afraid I'm going to run about because of THEIR actions.

      The service is useless. You have to pay upfront, and then if the service isn't great you just have to eat that cost. I scheduled a dermatologist appointment (which for some reason they only respond through messages vs the "live" part). It was supposed to include the "visit", a prescription if needed, and 30 days of support and the ability to ask questions from the provider. The provider answered two questions that I asked the same day, and then stopped responding to my questions at all. There's no clear explanation or indication of their refund policy, so I only got partial service and am out $50.

      This company had over charged my card and now saying they do not see the charge. I've been back and forth with them for 2 months and have not received a refund. My insurance verified via phone that I am an active member and they still charge me as if I didn't have insurance. It is frustrating as I have been over twice and no refund and now my card is LOCKED because I have to provide receipts for purchases and they said I wasn't charged when clearly it shows I am on the card.
