      It is difficult to find a therapist that I can connect with and learn from but I found that on MDLIVE in 2024. However, in 2025, because of a technical issue with MDLIVE not recognizing my insurance, and inept customer service **** who give bad information constantly, I haven't been able to confirm any sessions. It's horrible to ask me for a credit card when I have full coverage. It's been weeks and they still haven't resolved the issue.

      This company is through my insurance and I went to them for help when I was sick on 1/8/25. On 1/9/25 I filed a complaint with MDLIVE for poor professional conduct help for myself and daughter who are sick. They issued a refund for both visits which I was told would take 45 to be refunded. Now, starting on 1/10/25 every day that have been trying to charge my credit card $63.00 a day and for two days they tried charging my card twice. I have called them and complained every day and called Cigna and filed complaints also. Thank his I have my card locked otherwise I would be out over $400.00. If need be I will file a complaint with the police as well since they just tried to charge it again at 9:28 pm. I am in distress and stressed out over this issue. Stay clear of them. I even told them I would call the BBB if it doesnt stop.

      I was so disappointed I called at 2 oclock in the morning because I felt so sick and I wanted to address my concerns. I was told that Id be called shortly instead I was called every 15 minutes until 5 AM at 5 AM. They called to tell me that I was unable to be seen and needed to make an appointment for 8:15 AM, I followed through with the appointment and I was on hold until 9:45 AM to speak with the physician I was exhausted on top of being ill because of the disturbance in my sleep upon finally reaching the physician, he was demeaning and not really concerned with my illness. I was extremely disappointed. This is my first time using your services due to my insurance benefits, and it will be the last time. It was a total waste of time and money and disturbance of my sleep. In the past I used LiveHealth and they were amazing they cared. It was quick they listen and gave you the correct diagnosis in medications. What a waste of time and money this was with your company.

      If I could I would give no stars I have insurance and they charged my card not my insurance since they charged my card they say its my responsibility to file it with my insurance they havent given me any documents to file with my insurance I will never use MDLIVE again ever

      We felt like this was a scam. You advertise that you can speak with a doctor and get a prescription and it's $25. In reality, I spoke to a doctor for less than 2 minutes and had to pay the $25 just to be told we need to go to urgent care. You need to have an intake where if there is a 0% chance of us getting antibiotics you should notify the patient BEFORE they pay the ******************************************************************* person, so I am not mad at the doctor, I am mad at the company for literally advertising that you handle ear infections and can do antibiotics only to be told over a 2 minute choppy bad service phone call that you cannot help and we need to go to urgent care. This felt like a scam. You need to change your intake so that if its an ear infection you notify the person that they will not get an antibiotic and THEN ask if they still want to speak with a doctor before charging the money

      If I could select 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appointment that was much needed and anticipated. I waited for the call with my ring volume up and phone in hand. The time arrived and passed by approximately 3-4 minutes and I received an automated phone call that stated I missed my appointment but I could connect with customer service. The customer service agent already had a script to deliver explaining that I couldn't receive the call because of my phone settings. They charged me for the full appointment and they do not have a fail safe to connect you with the doctor. It was 4 minutes past the time the appointment would have started. Meaning the appointment would have still been going on, but the customer support agent is not even provided with the tools to connect you to your appointment. This is a scam. What's worse is that they are preying on people attempting to seek medical care. I regret that I didn't read reviews beforehand. This is not an uncommon occurrence. This is a scam. They will take your money.

      MD live has therapists that cancel 20 minutes into the scheduled session time, physicians that sign in 40 minutes late to sessions and they charge their customers $50 for being 4 minutes late due to connectivity issues. This makes 0 sense and is so unfair. I have called customer service numerous times and no one helps. They say someone will call me and no one ever does.

      I had an appointment scheduled at 2pm and my provider cancelled and rescheduled for a later time, 4pm, on the same date. Although it was my provider who cancelled, I was charged $50. My provider then messages me and tells me that she also needs to cancel the 4pm reschedule, and I was charged a second $50. I reached out to MD Live and they said that the cancellations show up on their system as "patient made". I mentioned that I have the proof stating that the provider cancelled not me, they just said that someone will review in 45 days. This did not get resolved and I was charged $100 total. I requested to talk to someone else and was told that there was no one else that could take my call. This business is a total scam.

      SUCH A SCAM. Called in yesterday and requested a consultation. They said they couldn't verify my insurance coverage and would have to charge me $1 to "verify it". I found that bizarre and didn't want to give my credit card information over the phone. So I asked if there was another way to verify that my coverage was active. Mikey M (the customer service *** from ********************* said if I conferenced in my insurance (Cigna) and they verified that I had an active plan that they wouldn't need to take my card and verify my coverage. I conferenced in *****, they verified, then Mikey asked for my card number for a temporary $1 charge. I'm not concerned about the $1, but if they are getting 1000 calls a day and telling everyone they "can't verify coverage" they are scamming people out of money and making $1000 for essentially nothing. The fact that insurance companies use this company for their telehealth is bananas.

      MDLive charged me $240.00 and did not verify that's what they were going to charge from a past claim. I knew I had an outstanding balance from a claim that my insurancecompanywas reproessing, but they didn't state they were going to charge me for that amount to use their service again and they did. I have not received a refund and have requested 5 calls from a supervisor and only 1 has called and I missed it and called back and couldn't get another sup. They're taking money out of your account without verifying the amount. Then don't want to refund it. *************.
