      April 24, 2024 85.00$The sales manager came to my home to sell pest control, we had an agreement based on what HE told me would be included in my account, come to find out the actual pest I need controlled is not covered but **** the salesman knew exactly what pest I had the issue with. I called to complain about the first visit which the tech did not complete what was stated in our agreement. The 2nd visit, I asked for him to finish what he did not do the 1st time. He came inside and saw I had animals but never told me it could he harmful to them! Luckily I asked right before he sprayed. I told him to leave and not do anything else. Management claimed after this, he went on to spray outside of my home which I had just said not to. Management refused to give refund because the tech did spray outside without my consent. They are spraying potentially toxic substances into people's homes and the manager himself said the area they spray should he stayed away from for a while! I told **** about my 2 cats to ENSURE their spray is totally safe. It was falsely reported that it was. I've never experienced this with any other pest service. They have false advertising due to their salesman's pitch and are extremely negligent. They need to be VERY specific with what will/won't be covered and give a return when services have not been rendered.

We understand your worries and want to assure you that once our pesticide solution has dried, it poses minimal risk to animals. We always warn all customers to allow 30 minutes for product to dry. 

      The products we use undergo rigorous testing by EPA and other agencies to ensure they are safe for the environment and all inhabitants, including pets and wildlife. Once the pesticide has dried, it typically adheres to the surface it was applied to and breaks down over time, reducing any potential harm to animals.

      However, we always go by the label and recommend taking precautions such as keeping pets indoors during application and until the treated area is completely dry. Additionally, if you have specific concerns or require further information, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!

      Pest Bear lawn technician treated our lawn and shrubs with a weed killer that killed parts of our lawn and several shrubs as well as a "pineapple" type palm tree. We had the regional service manager investigate and he agreed that it was their fault and took many photos of the damage and assured us that "something will be done" to correct this problem. The regional manager then came to say, "things are not so bad and will 'grow back' in time." I've spoken with the customer service ***** numerous times. I have been told I'd be called back, someone will come out, etc. but these assurances have never been met. "Pest Bear" has no desire to actually fix the problems and merely puts me off, I am sure, hoping I will drop the case. I am aware that we will probably not see any sort of compensation for the damage done but I believe their extremely poor business practices should be known by anyone looking to do business with them. The company is Pest Bear doing business out of *******, ******* with services in Southwest *******.

      Since about August of 2023 no one has been coming to provide any of the services that we've been paying Pest Bear to provide. Our lawn started gradually dying about September-ish a tech came out and I complained about the lawn, but he was only there for pest control, but he said it looked like the lawn was being over watered. We finally got a manager out, in November, he said it wasn't being watered enough and never addressed the terrible condition of our lawn and why hasn't anyone been coming to service it. I called again in about December because still no one had been out since and they were still deducting payments. I received an answering machine and left a message. Several weeks past still no return call and the payments were still being deducted, then a tech came out for pest control. I asked him about the lawn, he cringed and said he'd put a note on my account. I called again because again more payments deducted no service. I spoke to a rep I wanted to be refunded and service canceled. She said to get a refund she had to send a manager and to send a manager I could not cancel until after he did an assessment. She scheduled him 2 days later and within those 2 days they withdrew 2 more payments! Almost $300 in a 10 day period! There is no rhyme or reason when they deduct the payments no notification they just go in and withdraw funds. That should be illegal for them to just withdraw funds whenever. I demand a refund for all the lawn services for at least the last six months and the two recent transactions they took AFTER I called to cancel services of $75 an $80. That is a total of $765 dollars. I would also like to mention the bait things they installed around my home to be monitored. They were over grown and had not been monitored since they were installed mid summer, but I was still being charged a fee for that as well. This company is running a scam operation and everyone that has been assigned to my property is no longer with the company that is the excuse they always give me, even the manager that came back in November and told me a contradictory reason my lawn is dead.

      In May 2023 My husband and I employed Pestbear. . We paid one year in advance. In October our service man sprayed for weeds. Two days later everywhere he sprayed was dead, which consisted of approximately 80 percent of our lawn. They sent him back out on 11/20/23. HIs name was ***** and he is a manager. He told us how bad our lawn was. He made an appointment to come back on 11/27/23 between 8am to 12pm. He arrived after 5:00 pm with no curtesy call. He stated they would pull up the dead grass and plug the lawn. He also stated would be 3-6 days to receive the plugs. Friday was 11 days and I called the office. I was told by *******, I was on the schedule for ***** to come by and work. I also requested for a second time for a refund on the balance of my payment. I was told I had to discuss my refund with *****. Well ***** was a no show and again no curtesy call. Today is 14 waiting for plugs and no communications from the company. I would like a refund on the advance payment I gave them and for the company to fix my lawn.

      ***** was out there in November around Thanksgiving time frame and told him we would plug.  We didn't realize the cold weather we would have in December which prohibited us.
      1/3/24 ***** was there for 2 hours and installed 27 trays of plugs told them back in 7 to 10 days
      1/10/24 ***** was there for 1 hour and 20 minutes and installed 20 more trays of plugs and told them back again in about 10 days 
      He told them they need ***** more trays to finish the job
      We have more plugs on order to be delivered this week
      They will get installed hopefully this week but no later than next week 
      Then our promised will be fulfilled
      ***** said that every time he has been there he has only spoken to the husband who has never expressed he is upset and is thankful for us making it right and never said that his wife called the BBB

      My name was forged on a contract that I did not agree too and funds was removed from my account. I only agreed to one service. The company charged me for other services that I did not agree too.

      This customer started service on 9/15/2022 and took service every time it was due. 

      spoke with ********************* after i listened to the audit recording with ******. she stated that she did not approve the lawn service and did not want the lawn services. only the bsm service. i explained that i had actually serviced the lawn a couple of times and even had a conversation with her in her back yard back in November of last year and she didnt stop me. she then came back and stated she gave her credit card for the bsm service only but was given on the audit call with *****. she said that it wasn't her signature on the agreement and she didnt want the lawn service. I explained that the card was given 2 months prior to starting the bsm service when the lawn service was started. She then started saying that we made the recording up with her name and info on it. i offered to come sit down with her face to face and get this resolved and she stated she doesnt want me on the property because im only trying to get her money and dont care about getting this resolved .

       

      Tech note november 2023. I dont think we can come up with resolution. I will take take out of bad debt if that makes customer happy.

I feel all funds taken from me for services that I did not agree to should be returned to me. I should have only been charged for Bait stations, not yard work. Forging a persons name on documents is illegal and your company should be shut down if this is a habit of yours. With that being said, I will accept the removal of the debt from collections.

      We hired pest bear for pest control, lawn and weeds. the first service visit came and the technician sprayed our verge for weeds that had peanut grass and killed all of the peanut grass and the grass out front o f our lanai. When I called, the said they would send somebody out to take a look at it and they came out a week later on 09/11. The technician that came out said the previous tech never should have sprayed the verge and wasn't sure why he did. He said he would take photos and send them to corporate for a resolution which he did not upon my call to the office on 9/13. The tech did another fertilization of our lawn for the mistake and said he would be in touch in a few days and still have not heard form him. When my wife ******** called the office, she kept getting the run around. I told the tech when he came out that this was unacceptable and we wanted the peanut grass replaced as it was green and flourishing prior to their visit. We keep getting the run around and have been told that it was taken care of but still nothing has been done. I was told via phone by corporate that we would receive half off our next service due to their mistake but this does not fix or replace the grass or peanut grass.

      Date of the transaction: 9/13/2023 The amount of money you paid the business: $52.37 What the nature of the dispute is: Liquid Aeration was done to my lawn without my consent or permission. I never wanted nor asked for this additional service nor do I want it in the future. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: When I tried to call there was a message that said they were open till 8 p.m. but when I called at 7:30, It went straight to an answering machine. Invoice: ******* I want the $52.37 adjusted and removed as I never asked to get this particular service done. I also don't want the liquid aeration service done in the future. All their other services are fine except I don't want liquid aeration done again.

      I am filing this complaint as this company has been extremely negligent. We have tried to call and pay our bill no one answers the phone, emails, inquiries. I tried to pay online and the site does not recognize our account number so it wont let us proceed. They have now sent us to collections like this is our fault that isnt a way to pay this bill. On top there has been the hurricane that came thru and there should be some financial programs and assistance instead of sending a customer to collections over $50 when we have paid this company every month for years! We do not want our credit affected and we have tried to pay this bill. It had been on automatic payment and Im not sure what it was taken off. If the payment wasnt paid we shoulda received calls before going to collections over $50! This is horrible service, no calls backs, no emails, no replys to nothing.

      Have been trying to have PestBear remove liquid aeration - but they keep sending letters that they will automatically be charging another $50 for liquid aeration each month!No one answers their phone or responds to emails either.They charged me twice for Centralized Pest Control Service, trying to get it addressed.They have never put any rodent boxes for a couple of years and still keep charging for it.Terrible way of conducting business, sorry to state this.Hope they are able to address this.

      In August 2022 we had Pestbear come to our house to do a rodent exclusion to our roof and ***************. We had rats in the roof. Pestbear charged us $895 for this service. They were suppose to seal ***************, roof vents except dryer vent, and seal any other areas they see on roof. In December we found out rats were still getting in our roof, I found that they failed to seal *************** correctly, they had some wire placed on chase but it had a cut in it which left a hole for the rats to go in. Anyway they did come out and fix it and said they checked the roof to make sure everything else was sealed. Then a few weeks ago I had a company in to clean my dryer vent as the dryer was taking a long time to dry clothes. The company found that Pestbear had sealed up my dryer vent, which is a code violation and a huge fire hazard. I immediately contacted Pestbear and sent them photos of the wire filled with lint and receipts of the original Pestbear contract and receipt from the dryer vent company. A manager called apologizing but he did not seem to understand what a danger his company had placed us in. I was requesting a refund, but all he offered me was a $300 credit. I am not interested in having a credit as I dont trust the company anymore. He said he would talk to his General Manager and get back to me. A week later I texted him to get an update and he told me I could have $100 credit! ( so the amount had decreased). I am requesting the whole amount of money back as they put my family at risk due to their negligence our house could very easily of caught on fire. The manager I spoke with did not seem to care about safety. I am very dissatisfied with this companies response. Its a shame because I have been using this company for my house pest control for over 10 years and was always satisfied, but not anymore after this experience. Definitely would not recommend them for their services.
