I keep getting text messages from Valor Intelligent Processing, LLC asking to pay a parking ticket but the text and the link provide no information about the ticket. When you click on the link it asks you to provide personal information instead. This is the link: I believe this is a scam/fraud.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: this was resolved years ago legally (you will note the alleged parking violation was in 2021 and it is now the end of 2024) and as a result the company/Valor agreed to stop contacting me. This is now harassment Valor.

I have received at least 6 text messages from Valor Intelligent Processing to pay a parking ticket violation. I have no outstanding parking tickets. I have reported it as junk to my phone provider but it keeps happening. I believe this to be a scam and should be investigated.Business Response

I paid a **** for the total amount of $437.99 on 11/08/2024 a Toll **** of my Grandson that went to Valor. I asked him to stop using the Tollway, he has not been using the Toll after I asked him back then, but they continue to keep sending me more Bill's of $54.92 and $42.76 and threatening to Block my License Tag Renewal. Please help? Also a *** **** for $45.10, and a **** ******* **** for $97.68. They will not stop.Business Response

I apologize for the delay, **** contacted me to confirm correction changes were made on my behalf to correct over charges and refunded me the overpayments I had made. The situation has been resolved. I've received dozens of text mesages from Valor Intelligent Processing regarding an unpaid balance with the **** ***** ******* *********. I have no past due balance with ****. **** confirmed for me they have no affiliation with Valor Intelligent Processing nor do I have any balance to speak of. I on at least one occasion paid VIP through the link on the text message thinking the communication was legitimate. According to **** this communication from VIP is spam and should be reported criminally.Business Response

I have now received 7 text messages spanning from 10/28/2024 - 12/4/2024 from number 29498 saying I have a parking ticket to pay and that I can pay via a link ***********************i=*****" or can call ************ to talk to an agent. To my knowledge, I have no parking tickets and this is a scam. However, as I received the 7th text today (12/4/2024), again with no information on the alleged parking ticket, I am filing a formal complaint. If this is a scam, please do something as a company to put an end to it, and if this is legit, I expect more formal communications including when the ticket occurred, where it occurred, the initial amount owed and the current amount owed, who it was issued to, and the vehicle number associated with this ticket.Business Response

I was sent 2 texts - dated 11/13/2024 and 11/26/2024 from a ***** number (just a 5-digit text number). Says it's from Valor Intelligent Processing, LLC - a debt collector for Parking Revenue Recovery Services. We have not had any parking fines that we can think of. We also have not received anything in the mail, and we have been at our new address for a year now. If this is a collection agency, I would like to know why they are texting me instead of sending me an invoice or a bill with an explanation of the parking fine/fees. Is this normal to get a random text with a link to pay a fine that you're unaware of? When I clicked on the link that was in the text, it takes me to Valor's website and requests that I "Make a Payment" or "Sign Up". I clicked on the "Make a Payment" tab just to see what it said and I had to enter my zip code and our (old) address (house number only). It says we owe $87, but does not say what it's for, where or when it happened...NOTHING...just that we owe $87. I know **** tried to collect money from my husband for entering the parking lot early on one occasion (******** app used). On that occasion, they tried to charge my husband $87 for entering the lot just a few minutes early, even though he hadn't actually parked yet because he was meeting up with his co-worker so he could grab tools from his co-worker's truck first. After I explained this to the company, the lady said she'd look into it....and we never heard from them again....so we assumed it was taken care of. I am highly suspicious of this as I know **** was fined by the State of ******** last year for fraudulently charging people $87 fines/fees when they did NOT incur legitimate charges (as in our case). Now they have a collections company collecting money on their behalf for those exact amounts. How do I resolve this? We are NOT paying that $87....it's not right.Business Response

I received a text from Valor Intelligent Processing stating they are a debt collector for parking recovery services. i called ************ and spoke to a man with a foreign accent. He confirmed my address and name. He said i received a parking ticket at *** ****** *** ****** ** on May 2023 and that i owed 87.00. I told him i did not have any unpaid tickets i was aware of and i told him i was not paying 87.00 without proof. He HUNG the phone up on me. i called right back and asked to be transferred state side so i could speak with someone and again i was hung up on. i have no idea who these people are; but they do not seem legitimate and if they are; then they have terrible customer service, i would like resolution and a bill to be sent to me so i can pay if i do owe this amount, and not treated with such disrespect. What company actually hangs up on a person if they really are trying to recover funds? They need to be investigated as this is rubbish! A bill in the mail works even better than getting hung up on. who does this???Business Response
