I have received repeated texts from Valor Intelligent Processing for an alleged parking ticket. I am not aware that I have an outstanding parking ticket and have received no information other than these texts, which make me wonder if this is a scam. I would like the business to provide details on the alleged parking ticket and if this is a scam to stop texting me.

Valor Intelligent Processing has sent me multiple messages about how I have a toll road balance from ***** ****** ****** that needs to be paid. This is quite literally impossible as I have never owned a car and do not even know how to drive, nor have I ever lived in Indiana, where this bridge is located. Records will show I have never had a driver's license or a vehicle registered in my name. In fact the only time I have ever even been to Indiana was over 10 years ago, and, looking online, it says this bridge did not start collecting tolls until 2020, 2021, so I have never even stepped foot in the entire state of Indiana since this bridge began collecting tolls. This is either a case of mistaken identity or an outright fraudulent scam and it is extremely concerning how many other online reviews are claiming people have been scammed or targeted by predatory business practices of this company and this bridge.Business Response

**** is attempting to collect a “debt” that is not owed. Paid the amount due $80 to *******. **** confirmed they see receipt of that payment. One rep said I owe another $80. Still would not make sense demanding $138. Plus, ******* hasn’t charged me another $80 for tolls. Second time calling they tried to say all of last year tolls when to collections. If that was the case, my registration would have had a registration hold last year. Plus those invoices reflect payment made. Since the beginning of the year (March 2024) I have had not a single collections notice for overdue tolls. **** cannot produce an itemized statement to prove how and why I would owe $138. ******* does not reflect any amount due. Not only is this situation causing a hardship on my family. We can’t drive the car and that means no income. I can’t pay for registration for the year until this is resolved. This is outright fraud. If I have to come up with this money to pay the same tolls twice, this is a fraudulent act and I intend to file a complaint with the attorney generals office in both Texas and Florida. It’s been two months and if I call again, they will come up with another excuse that is not coherent. It’s not my burden to have to prove something that they claim is owed to them. They need to acknowledge this and remove the registration hold off the 2008 Ford MustangBusiness Response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: the ******* invoices attached to the response, reflects a 3 month delay of reporting payments between **** and *******. This can be seen by the line item transactions pointed by the arrows drawn on the ******* invoices. Further, these same payments (pg 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14) are not applied on the transaction history provided in the response. Also, the same transactions that are listed on the transaction history are also listed on the ******* invoices, confirming that you are attempting to double charge me for amounts already paid. Please see the first ******* invoice with statement date 9/24/2024 (pg 1). The balance owed on that invoice lists a total amount due of $80.10, which I provided a receipt that this was paid on October 7, 2024. As I have stated previously, I am not getting collection invoices from Valor and any attempt to collect a debt that is not owed is fraud and a violation of the FDCPA. Valor needs to remove the charges so that I may register my vehicle. Thank you!

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
We never received a statement or invoice regarding the charges.
The FDCPA broadly prohibits a debt collector from using ‘any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt.’ 15 U.S.C. § 1692e. In our discussions, we continue to get different responses from this agency.
According to their own records provided in the transaction history, Valor never provided a statement or invoice prior to the suspension of the cars registration and still has not provided a statement or invoice for the amount they allege as due. Valor never gave an opportunity to dispute the charges prior to the suspension of the registration and the debt alleged as owed is disputed. There was no written notice as required by law. The last invoice, according to Valor's own transaction history, occurred in the beginning of the year. This is deceptive and does not permit any meaningful review or notice as required law. The invoices from other agencies do not sufficiently corroborate with Valor's posting of tolls nor payments and it is confusing, at best.
There needs to be a better resolution since it is clear that we had no notice of this alleged debt.

***** *******

My complaint comes as, I submitted an application to valor intelligent processing (9/17/24) as well as one of their sister companies (mass markets an *** affiliate) (8/2024). The sister company sent me an offer I accepted, but never heard back from them. Valor has yet to even review my application. When I the recruitment number I get 30 minutes of piano music each time, no matter what location i try to contact. (several calls made to both companies). I would like to inquire about my status and cannot please suggest a fix, that actually allows people to call the recruitment line and get somewhere. **** markets has the option to leave a message... no call back ever gets received.Business Response

I keep getting calls from "Valor" I first tried to block them from my phone but that did not stop them from creating another alias and number. The dude sounded arabic and I had to stop myself from cursing this fool thing. Everyday for the past 7 days it calls. I only had this number less than a month as my dad had this before me. When he passed I was contacted daily by american express and other debtors. I offered them through this site a copy of Death certificate but none of them wanted it . Now there harrassing me for his debts and if that is the case here, I wish they would place it in writting,Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This company acts before it reads who is who, in my case it was once again for my dad not me. This person who is also the voice of his A.I discriminates as a collection tactics hoping relatives will pay the debt. Today is 9-9-24 and we have yet to be informed who his client was. I appreciate the act of removing my name from his client list, yet the file still exist and without knowing his client in question we would like to file a complaint against his client. I will consider this matter closed at this time, I would suggest to the BBB to re evaluate this company's profile. NO Further Contact by Valor or its many alias.

I received a text on my phone from Valor claiming I owe a parking ticket with no identification and no amount. I called Valor and talked to ****** ****** at ************. The main number I called was different but that is the number she gave me. I asked her to tell me what the debt was and to who did I owe it. She said she can’t give me that information without more information from me. I told her my name was **** and she said “**** ******* ****? And I said you already know who I am. Just tell me the amount and who and where was the violation. She replied I can’t tell you that it’s against the law. She said unless you’re going to give me more information I will have to end the call, and she said have a nice day. When you’re ready to give us the information call us back. I received a letter September 2023 claiming that I had an unpaid parking ticket at the ************ ******* **** September 13th. They provided a picture of the vehicle, which is not a vehicle that I own, and the tag does not match my registered vehicle. I tried reaching out multiple times via the customer service number on the letter, nobody ever answered and I left multiple voicemails. I even tried calling a few weeks later with the same issue.
After weeks of not hearing anything, I junked the paperwork, and have not heard a thing until today. July 30th 2024. Now I am being pestered with text messages claiming that I still owe this debt. I tried calling 14 times today and every time it says that it will dial to get me representative it hangs up. I've sent another email out and have not heard anything. I also called the ************ **** to ask them if this was the name of their collection company, They advised me that they have never used this company. And they use a private towing company to handle all of their tows and a different company to handle parking violations. (It's free to park at the ************ **** from what I was told)
I am being charged a parking ticket For a vehicle that is not mine and I do not own. From the photo it appeared to be a black sedan, and I have never owned a black vehicle. I no longer have the original paperwork as it is almost a year later, when I called in I was able to use the phone payment system to at least find out who the payment goes to and how much it was. $109 to Parking Recovery Service.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
The vehicle pictured in your invoice is not my vehicle. I own a 2016 ***** ********* ****** with plate ****** and I was not in ************ on that date. And this is the only vehicle that is registered in my name in the state of Florida.
I'm unsure how you got my information and matched it to the vehicle that you have photoed. But again that is not my vehicle. The DMV does not ever show a record of any other vehicle being in my name. You are charging the wrong person and I will not be paying that violation ticket.
Also the vehicle in those photos is not a ********* ******. And the address shown is for the ************ **** whom I called again this morning and was advised parking is free. So either way this is a invalid charge.

Tag Misreads. Traffic Violations of both a white car and a truck of undetermined color have been attributed to my Red SUV. After speaking with a female at Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) who admitted that these are Tag Misreads, she informed me that I still had to submit proof they were mistakes. The proof was found on Their Very Own website.
I submitted the proof, it was Denied and I am still required to pay $19.74 to have the Registration Hold removed. THEA has Valor Intelligent Processing as the collection agency.
They are also Aware the Tags are For A 100% Disabled Veteran. The first issues I encountered was ****** had the registration on hold for No Insurance coverage. I provided proof. Then came the Tag Misreads by ****** which they cleared after a little more than a week.
Then I was informed the State of California Flagged My Registration. I asked the ****** employee How Can CA Flag A FL Registration? She said she didn't know and contact CA. I did and was told; CA Dept of Motor Vehicles Only Has Records for Vehicles Registered in California.
For the Sum of $5.00 CA can send a Document that reads; No Record Found. It Will Not be Accepted As Proof of No Violations. California must Remove It From Their System but there is No Record to Remove.
I Believe but May Be Wrong and I Have No Proof but All These Obstacles Seem Intentional. They keep Falsely Accusing Me and when I Provide Proof They come up with another Sophisticated Scheme to Obtain Money From Me Under False Pretenses. I Don't Know if This Is Truly Fraud and Corruption or Incompetence.
I can Imagine that many Falsely Accused pay the amount this entity wants to Extort because it is a small amount individually, but may amount to Tens or Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars Altogether being obtained by Preventing the Ability to Register a Vehicle Until a Bogus Fee Is Paid.Customer Answer

i don't know if it is the THEA system or the Valor Intelligent Processing system that was Unlawfully accessed and the erroneous information planted that Requires an Extorted Payment before I can Register my car. The fact that someone can put into my ****** State Record a Fraudulent Document the Reads the State of California has Flagged the Registration of a Vehicle with Florida Tags When CA only has CA vehicle information leaves me Completely Unknowledgeable as to Who Has Breached my Record and Added all the Fraudulent Information. I await the response from you the BBB as well as the Florida State Investigation and then will have and idea of Who and Where the Breach to the Information in my Record was Initiated.
