My insurance company uses this company to provide my CPap supplies. On more than one occasion over the past years ( in which my Insurance has NEVER changed) this company charges my credit card, which I NEVER authorized. In fact this time they did it on a NEW account. I NEVER have to pay for my CPap and THEY are the ones who keep contacting me to send supplies, telling me they are due and it's time to order, and that my insurance is covering the cost. This is Very underhanded and sneaky, and I'm sure there are thousands of such charges on other people's accounts just like this! This activity must stop!!!!

Disputed amount billed to my insurance with Aerocare and my insurance company after receiving my co-pay portion of their invoice. This invoice is over 30+ days out because I am disputing, but is not over 90 days. They have billed, and been paid 2x what they themselves indicate they retail the machine for by my insurance. When I requested clarification how that is possible, reply was because they can bill up to that amount per contract. I filed formal dispute with my insurance last week because I believe they (and I) were over billed. Tonight, the machine will not even power on and appears to have been remotely disabled. How is that even legal? They have been paid well over what they retail the machine for by my insurance and I am disputing based on co-pay balance billing.

I was working with this company without issues and had autopay working with no problems. Out of the blue I had someone at my door at 8am one morning stating they were there for a repo of my machine.....the one I had been paying for without issues for over 6 months at that point. I called aerocare with the repo guy standing there and they claimed I failed to provide the needed data card for use compliance. The compliance was for the first 90 days and I wasn't set for a follow up with the sleep doctor for another 6 months given I had just seen them 3 months prior when I hit the 90 day requirement.....They made no attempts to contact me prior to sending someone to my home to wake me up at 8am for any repo warnings. They tried to proceed to tell me I can give them $400 and this would "fix the issue" but would start me back over on compliance again....I stated I wanted to know how much to finish buying the machine and suddenly they tried to backstep what had happened because it was discovered I only owed $14.11 to finish paying off the machine....they tried to get me for another $400 and the insurance for another payment plan. I paid the $14.11 and requested my account be closed but for 2 months they attempted to continue charging me. They finally stopped the charge attempts but have refused to close the account claiming there is no way to close the account......so currently they are holding onto my active credit card info with no services being provided and creating a potential security/identity theft situation. No company is allowed to force you to maintain an open account and keep payment info when they are no longer providing services....the last time I had a transaction was 9/5/2023 when I paid off the machine.....4 months ago.

We ordered a new cpap machine on Oct 2nd, 2023 and supplies. We received the supplies but knew the machine would take a little longer. It is Nov 20 and after 4 calls into AeroCare I have been told something different each time. I was told first time it takes to load the machine with data, 2nd time I was told it would be going out in 2 weeks, 3rd time I was told order was canceled at the beginning of the call but by the end that it was still processing. Just made my 4th call today and was told there is no order and she transferred me to ProviderPlus which sent me to a company directory. This is the worst service I have ever received with medical supplies. In the past ProviderPlus was amazing to work with but this new company is terrible. Each rep tells you something different and basically not doing their job.

I picked up my CPAP and mask on 4/5/2023 and paid the full cost at this time. I was told I would have no further rental charges. An autodraft went through on 8/28/23 for supplies I neither requested nor received. 2 further payments have been billed for $45 in October and November for rental fees. I have requested details 3 times from the company and am currently being called for collections daily.

Delta Waves sleep study facility in ****************, **, placed a prescription with Aero Care on September 20th, 2023 for me and I still have not received my APAP machine! Its been nearly 7 weeks! I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and need to get on a machine.Ive called Aerocare 3-4 times and all they keep saying is that it is still being processed, even though the last time I called, the guy told me it had cleared all my insurance stuff.I want to cancel my order with Aerocare and go with another company. This is ridiculous and they have a 1 rating in Yelp! I should have never chosen them!

I have been waiting 12 days for Allegiance Oxygen and Medical Equipment that is now called AeroCare in North Port Florida to forward the doctor's prescription, doctor's notes and call my insurance provider to give me a CPAP machine. They have been repeatedly called by the doctor's office that has provided doctors notes as well as a prescription for the device and yet they cannot contact the insurance provider or respond to the insurance provider to get the simple device registered. They are incompetent and I wish that my doctor's office had not referred my prescription to these, I'll be polite, jokers. It would have been much simpler to go straight to the insurance company and have them select a provider that would have immediately registered the product and had it ready for me within 2 days. This is incompetence at the most extreme. If it was my choice I would never never ever ever ever do business with these things. No wonder they had to change their name, stay away as far as you can from these people.

After being with AeroCare for a few years, I started looking into buying my supplies direct instead of going thru them and my insurance. I was totally shocked at the markup they do. As an example, the head gear that holds the face mask in place can be bought numerous places from $39.00 to $49.00. They charge almost $200.00. No wonder insurance companies are charging people so much. When I questioned them, they told me they charge that much "because they can". SHAME on them.
