I have used Rotech for approximately two years or so. They have notoriously overbilled me. Despite contacting them almost monthly to resolve issues from billing to trying to get money back that they owe me- they are outsourced so I can barely understand or communicate with their department. Currently I show that I owe close to 300 dollars despite me telling them that I am covered by insurance. The insurance company said that Rotech has not been sending in this info to them. Rotech says I have a credit of over two hundred dollars. I was told I would receive a check within 10 business days. Yesterday they told me it would take 30 to 45 days to receive this money- that they had to process it and that the process started on May 13. Could not tell me what the process is and told me they couldnt direct deposit the money. Communication within this company is horrendous. After Im sure I receive my money I will be changing companies. One of the worst companies on *****. Emotional and financial strain.

Im filling a complaint regarding Rotech Healthcare, from whom I received my CPAP supplies on Oct 2025. My insurance provider, ******** has confirmed they paid their portion and my out of pocket was meet, leaving me no balance according to my coverage. Despite this, I received a bill from Rotech Healthcare stating I owe a balance.I contacted Rotech Healthcare and provided documentation (EOB) from my insurance showing payment was made and my out of pocket was zero. However they continue to pursue payment from me without resolving the issue or explaining why they believe I owe this amount. This has caused unnecessary stress, and I am concerned that continued collection efforts may impact my credit. I am requesting that Rotech Healthcare correct this error, confirm that I have a zero balance, and cease any further billing or collection efforts.

I continued to be asked for payment from Rotech for supplies, for which I paid. In fact, I returned part of the supplies, and should only be charged a $15.00 restocking fee, yet Rotech continues to bill me.There were three (3) charges for the original supplies of $84.18 made to my American Express account: one on 1/21/25, one on 1/29/25, and one on 1/29/25. There were two (2) $84.18 credits on my American Express account: one on 1/29/25 and one on 2/14/25. I have attached a screenshot of my American Express online account showing all of these transactions. Originally an auto payment was made, and then I mistakenly paid the same bill manually, setting up the credits.Subsequently, I returned part of the order to Rotech because the item was incorrect. This was after a visit to the local Rotech store, where the Rotech *** told me the item was not correct. On 1/29/25 Rotech charged me a $15.00 restocking fee (which I do not believe is fair, since a Rotech *** confirmed the incorrect item was shipped), plus a "$69.18 unapplied" charge. There is no explanation of this, other than it is the $84.18-$15.00.On 4/21/25 I called and spoke with Rotech ***resentative, ***, who told me "Ad adjustment has been made, but I cannot tell what it was. Call back in 3-4 business days."On 4/25/25 I called and spoke with Rotech ***resentative, ****, who told me my account will be adjusted to zero dollars due within 24 hours.I believe I am due a credit, yet Rotech continues to say I owe the full $84.18 amount.Rotech seems to be confusing the issue without fully investigating the circumstances. Not only did their ***resentative initially suggest that the incorrect item be returned, but the customer service ***resetatives on the phone led me to believe the account was adjust to zero. This still does not take into account the credit I am due for the returned items.

My son *********, who is a special-needs child with disabilities had a sleep study completed in November 2024 and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I called United healthcare and they gave me their vendor information to look at online so that I could purchase a CPAP machine for my son. I called American health services and verified that they did **** purchases and they said yes. I had Christians doctor said over all of his information for the purchase of his CPAP. They called me and scheduled a time on December 17, 2024 to come in and pick it up. ********* is autistic and can be uneasy and difficult so it did not go very well trying to get him fitted for this and I did the best in their office. At the end we got to the paperwork they handed me everything to sign, but before I did, I verified with them when looking at it that it was supposed to be a purchase and not a rental. The guy went over to the office manager,****** in the next office. She looked at everything in the computer and apparently it was not set up correctly. So she said she had togo in there and make changes so that it was a purchase and not a rental. Once everything was fixed and she confirmed I signed and we left. I have not done any other business with this company. No other purchases no other rentals. Since this dates I have multiple charges throughout all of 2025 through my insurance that are fraudulent and completely inaccurate. I notified them immediately in January. My sons account has been under review now three times. It was under review 3/28, 4/2 and is now currently under 4/25. I called with United healthcare with their critical care team who re-verified this should have been a purchase and not a rental and verified that it has been billed wrong since the beginning they have used the wrong code the entire time. United healthcare has asked them once again to retract all the billing and insurance claims, and to rebill the one date as a purchase. today I still have a balance of $139.77.

My doctor ordered a wound vac from Rotech for use from 10/9/24-11/9/24. Rotech billed the insurance company for $77,000 and $10,000. The insurance company rejected the claim due to the pricing error. A bill was also submitted to the insurance company under the name of ****** for the wound vac and the insurance company paid $375 on 10/28/24. Rotech has submitted bills under two different names to the insurance company. My out of pocket had been satisfied with the insurance carrier for 2024 prior to the rental of the wound vac so once the bill is submitted correctly, the bill will be covered at 100%. Even though I have contacted Rotech by phone, along with an insurance **** on 12/9/24, 12/17/24, 1/30/25, 2/24/25 & 4/4/25 and emailed 2/24/25, the company will not correct the pricing. Meanwhile, I receive payment requests by texts and bills by mail requesting $364.00. They have even threatened to send it to collections. I do not owe any money to Rotech but they wont fix the billing with the insurance carrier. There is also possible fraud by sending a claim to the insurance company under another name. On 4/4/25 I was told that they would send the additional pricing that was requested by the insurance carrier within 3-5 business days. I received another payment request by text on 4/29/25. I have never been able to speak to a supervisor at Rotech even though the customer service representative that answers the phone claims that a supervisor needs to review my account.
