      They are not upfront on what they charge you . And the report ***** it cost extra for most of the important things.

      Fraudulent. The site offered a $1 report and then charged $1, followed by $6.95, followed by $29.16 even after requesting a cancellation and removal of my account information. Responses were only automated noting the "increased volume of complaints they were receiving". I had a confirmation email of cancellation and they continued to withdraw from my account. Plus, the one report that I received didn't have any further information than what I had gathered from ****** ********* NOT GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY.

      **** website. Like every other review they automatically sign you up for a subscription. Worst part is to cancel it's almost nearly impossible. I've tried calling their support multiple times during their work hours and after being put on hold when I call back, each time the office is somehow closed for technical difficulties and wont reopen until a later day. Don't waste your money on this company.

      Told i could get a $1 charge for use for 4 days. I canceled within the 4 day period. I got a $6.95 the same day. I called CHK#************************** and they said the bank made an error. The $6.95 was a 'holding charge'. I called the bank and they said that I had a subscription that would charge $6.95 each month forever!! I was furious! The lady at checkpeople lied and it was a hassle to get the money returned and the subscription canceled. Grade of F-. I had to take a lot of time to get this done!

      I ordered a 1-time people check. After 6-months, I learn they have been charging me $29.17/month recurring charge! I demanded a refund! They agreed to credit one-month + $6.95. I am going to dispute this on my credit card. ************************** is completely unethical! Do not do business with them! Every business today, wants this reoccurring revenue and the put **** on us consumers. I'm totally sick of it!!

      Like many others, I also was scammed. I was signed up for a membership with a monthly billing amount that I did not authorize. I cancelled the membership online, via email and by phone. I also have blocked the credit card used for the proposed $1.00 fee. I am hoping to recover the $29 from them but won't hold my breath.

      I actually would not even give a 1 star rating but since that's the only way I can give my experience, here ya go! I ran across this companies' online information, typed in my name and let it pull its c*** According to it, I have all types of police records, judgements, etc. This is bunk and I stopped at paying the free - $1.00 to get my information which asked for all the information they said they could give people, such as my address, phone #, etc. These people are as bad and Musk and *****..., maybe.

      If I could leave zero I would This so called business who are scam artists charged me 6.95 a hidden charge and started a subscription without out my permission or knowledge! I have emailed several times today cause I want my account closed and cancelled. I have already disputed the charge. But I want my account cancelled and closed and an apology. Major scammers.

      Bad information on this website. I did the trial price and got charged for the yearly payment and the monthly at the same time before I even started the trial and even before I did My first search on their website. There was a lot of false information I found about myself and other people. I was not happy with that being said but still mad they charged me out right for a month subscription and that is not what I wanted. All I wanted was the 99 cent trial for 3 or 7 days and they took that and then some. This has never happened to me before with a people search website. I want my money back. Even for the 99 cents. I feel cheated and scammed. I requested a refund and their response was that wasn't their policy. I wanted my money back for the monthly charge. The service was bad and I didn't use it that much at all because I wanted my money back and the information I did find wasn't all correct. It should be free to search people and phone numbers for our own safety.
