      Total rip off!!! They provide basic information and will charge you multiple times. Also look for the hidden monthly subscription fee if you don't call them and cancel within three days. Total scam do not use this site

      Scam!!!!! They charge for things that I did not sign up for! Only clicked on the one dollar charge and ended up with 3 charges! All more than one dollar! Then they hung up on me when I ask for the supervisor! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

      This site is a total scam. I was sent to them through been verified which i used for a background check and I as well did a back ground check on myself through been verified well I also did the unclaimed money through been certified and my named popped up and they sent me to there link claiming I needed to use a company certified I'm mississlppi so they sent me to check people which not only do they bot have a link about anything to do with unclaimed money but showed I had 8 severe criminal charges on my ba kground so I went on and did there trial bevouse remind you I just did this through been verified And I had nothing on me and they sent me to this site. Well upon checking my background on check people nit only was it just wrong on all levels but it pulls up showing my info in my profile being me but my criminal background is some guy at age 32 black male I'm 46 whit male and those were the only things pulling up on my criminal record was this other guys stuff which now I don't think even exist being I read a similar view saying they experienced the smell situation total scam. I contacted them and they refuse to refund my money and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to even waste your time much less money through them ever. And now I'm thinking I wouldnt waist it on been verified either seeing thatnsobmany of these reviews arebsaying they werebaentntonthis company through them. If it would let me give 0 starts that would be my rating.

      I called to have my information removed from the site. This lady starts rambling about process and then proceeds to tell me she will not remove relatives from the site. I lost it and told her to remove this profile immediately. She then says it will take 48 hours to complete. Then she asks if I would like to provide an email address for "confirmation" of the deletion to which I replied, "absolutely not" The audacity of these people. I have zero confidence this will happen.

      Information.com shows up in a google search for my name. The opt out then takes you to checkpeople. I have been notified by mail my private information was hacked and low and behold it's all on this website. In the state I live this company can be sued for putting inaccurate information on the internet. In addition, I have spoken with a law practice that confirmed this. It's despicable companies like this exist that assist hackers in getting your private information. I have had to put a fraud alert on all credit bureaus because of this. They emailed me and then never replied back.

      I used the service once for .99 cents, I was never told that it was a membership, and that I would be charge $ 29 dollars each month plus 16 something. I was charged for 4 month, I realized about the charges because my credit card balance was increasing instead of decreasing with each month payment. I call today to cancel the charges I was told that I signed up for the service but that is not true, the web page never showed any of that, also I never received a receipt from them about the monthly charged payments. Please be aware this company is a scam, and they get away with it.

      Fraud! Run Away. They will charge your account for services they don't tell you about. I was able to get a refund as I caught the charge on my credit card the same day. If I hadn't, I would not have noticed and they would have gotten away with it. DO not use this company!!!

      I got slammed. I believed that for $1, I could try the service. The next thing I know I am being charged for a subscription and a fee for unlimited pdf reports. I followed the do's and don'ts. I read the terms of service. I was looking up family members, new neighbors and a phone number that was calling me repeatedly and then hanging up. I did learn the phone number belonged to someone who had a history of harassment. But then I was banned from the site. I called the support number to find out why I was being banned. They referred me to another number after representative said he would refund my money. I was not doing anything that was inappropriate. I followed their directions but was banned while doing a search. The site is given high reviews in some places and poor reviews in others. It is a fraud.

      The website advertises a $1.00 fee for a background check. I was not emailed or known that they would be using my info for a subscription that I did not want. I was charged $29 for a subscription I did not sign up for. This is a scam and i request a refund.
