      Not even CPAP related -- was nearly run off the interstate by an Aerocare can in Chattanooga. I honked at him to let him know he was merging into me and he kept going, forcing me into an exit lane, where he merged in behind me and tailgated me until the lane exited. I was forced down the exit ramp bc this Aerocare Van was tailgating me so hard, then he didn't even take the exit, he merged back into the interstate, leading me to believe he tailgated and forced me down the exit ramp as vindictive roadrage for honking at him. This was in Chattanooga on I-24, Roseville Blvd exit at 11am 10/12/22. That driver needs to face repercussions for his actions.

      This company should be shut down - PERIOD! I give it no star, but had to make one; wish there was something for negative Stars, I would put -10! I have never dealt with a company or employees who are literally incompetent! Totally scamming people with excess fees added to rental fee. Insurance is a joke too, they won't cover the machines or supplies unless you rent to own it! If you want to purchase out right, insurance won't put towards your deductible. Absolutely insane! It has taken over three months to get anywhere with this company who is also called Adapt Health. I already have a full time job, but dealing with these companies has been a full time job. Once the ten months are up, after paying out the nose, if I ever receive another bill from this company I will EXPLODE!! ********

      Have had an order in place for over one month and no correspondence on the status of the order. I have spent a cumulative of 3-4+ hours on the phone, including hold time, on this issue. No one has an answer besides "it's pending insurance authorization", and when finally speaking to someone in their authorization department, the representative claimed they could not find my order number. It is one big runaround with no one capable of providing an answer or resolution to what should be a very simple issue. Insurance authorizations happen constantly on a daily basis. Once a satisfied AeroCare patient, I am now inclined to end my business with them, as they have inherently chosen to not respect my valuable time and money.

      I was fitted for cpap May 12, 2022 at *********, an AdaptHealth (Aerocare) office near me. I did the virtual fitting on line, aAt the fitting, received
      Small/ Medium Pillow Mask & 4 different sizes of nasal pillows. No extra filters. I communicated with ********* & AdaptHealth Compliance Unit regularly. When I had "high leak detected" message. On June 3, I finally went back to ********* for re-fitting. Basically just needed new small nasal pillows.

      Since that time, the supplies sent me have been wrong mask size 2x & wrong nasal attachment 2x. I have received a total 8 nasal cushions & I believe only
      2 correct nasal pillows in the last 3 months. I have not been able to use cpap since Aug. 15. Not having correct supplies has significantly impacted my ability to address leak issues. Plus the local ********* office closed with no notice so phone calls were not returned of course & closest office for re-fitting is 20 miles away.

      I have dates & specifics about calls & requests if needed.

      Back in August, I decided to have a sleep study completed. I knew I had met my out of pocket, so if I needed equipment the equipment would be covered at 100%. I was approved, had been in contact with AeroCare and was notified via telephone that the machine would be covered 100%. I started getting bills. Apparently, because there was a back order which delayed me getting the machine until October (I now know that there is a 4 month billing period) put the billing out until January which is when my insurance started over. Had I known that the billing was going to be pushed out 4 months into the new year I would have scheduled 5 days sooner or cancelled/decline. We have been going back and forth for 7 months (AeroCare says to take it up with *********** and *********** will send you back to AeroCare, with no resolution or answers to concerns) and all of a sudden they have now found an email that was apparently sent on October 1, that I never received. However, no one can tell me where the email is from September when we spoke about my coverage and and the process. The machine was on backorder which is why they did not schedule the delivery until October 4, which now pushed the financial obligation into a new year, but I had already received my machine and was not able to take it back because no one would discuss my options since AeroCare misinformed me. I hope everyone is cautious with this company as no one wants to take responsibility and their shady practices providing documents, the patient does not have and cannot find in email, forcing people financially responsible even though they were told they would not be. If you do business with them, their sales department is ruthless. They will call multiple times a day, harass you to buy mouth pieces and hoses, even when you tell them you are driving and cannot speak. I had one guy tell me that I am disregarding my health because I did not buy product through him while I was in Utah with very little to no signal.

      I contact the company because I have a tub leak- ruins nightstand. The agent says it's a known issue and offers to replace gratis.
      I say after 1-2x/day calls to reorder that Only when my insurance is covering at 100%. Next agent qualifies new insurance and says it is. I order but reenforce at LEAST 3 times I will not order this quantity and types of products until its certain that it's 100% coverage.
      I then get a bill for both the tub and everything else.
      I call and have to wait an 90 minutes for return call. I call back and wait another 90 minutes. I request a transcript of the call where the agent says 100% coverage. Agent appears to be understanding and puts me on hold for a few minutes to discuss some sort of recompense. Supervisor says no. Agent then says supervisor will not review transcript.
      This is a connected issue finding out a couple of months ago that referring doc (supposedly) has some ownership stake in the (DME) company, although undescribed by office staff.
      I ask the staff if they're familiar with Stark Laws...

      When the company was Adapt Health, I'd have recommended an 11/10 they were so good- best customer service, always helpful, always made appointments for refittings and supplies. This new parent company AeroCare is the exact opposite. An absolute atrocious ** service with obvious outsourced accents. All this agida for a stupid face cushion or a piece of plastic. When I moved they even assured me they had my current address, then shipped it to the old address- no confirmation, tracking code...nothing.

      I have paid my **** off 3 times this year for supplies to a balance of zero. The following months I receive a **** for .78 cents apparently for sending me a **** showing zero balance. They continually charge me for sending me a **** with zero balance. My total is up to $6.60 on a zero balance account!!! This should be reported to the controllers office as a scam business practice on a billing customers. I can't imagine what this would amount to if it was auto ****. There is no use calling the company as the wait time literally is communicated 14 hrs. I will have my doctor completely disconnect my business with this shady company for cpap supplies as they are only after the money of the helpless!!Do not use them as you will receive a **** forever and it will continue to add up monthly as they charge each time they **** you pocket change on zero balances and you can't reach anyone to stop that process!!!

      My husband ordered a new machine in January of this year. Last year, they were in network and in 2022 they are not. They failed to tell my husband that our insurance was no longer in network, so he paid over $1000 more for his machine than necessary. It's very bad customer service to not go over the insurance on the phone at the time this very expensive machine was ordered. He has used Aero care for years, so he deserved better than this.

      Working with this company is an absolute nightmare. They will charge your insurance company and YOU full price and then give you used equipment. My husband took his CPAP to the dr to read his progress and the card in the machine was an entirely different person and had been used by that other person for years. When you call AeroCare/******, they will outright lie to you. My husband's dr wrote a scrip for a portable O2 concentrator. AeroCare called to say they were bringing liter bottles of O2, they would last 4-5 hours but when we ran out they would bring more. They said that was what the prescription was for. Nope. Our dr had written the prescription for the portable O2 concentrator. Aerocare just thought they would pull a fast one on us and send something else. When you ask for specific CPAP supplies they will send you extra stuff, that you did not ask for and that you do not need, and then they will just charge your credit card for it and hope you don't notice. My husband had additional equipment delivered last week. The delivery tech was like "let me put a sticker on this so you can have our number", went back to the truck, got a sticker, put it on the equipment. We called the next day and that number was disconnected, no longer valid. Like, why bother??? The very worst part is their customer service. They have one CSR, who I wont name because BBB doesn't allow it, who has THE most horrific attitude. She actually snorted when my husband advised her we weren't going to BE here at a certain time that they wanted to make a delivery. They act like they are doing you a favor, that you are an idiot, they lie and tell you half truths. I am not elderly but I imagine a lot of their clientel are. They take advantage of that, in my opinion. AeroCare, get your people some training. Or at least hire some people who aren't jerks.

      I am beyond frustrated with this company and billing practices. They continue to bill me monthly for supplies that I don't even know if I ever received. I've tried calling their phone number multiple times only to be on hold for an hour or longer each time. I've opted for the call back option to never receive a call back. When I did finally talk to someone they could not tell me what the actual invoices were and I was disconnected. Their billing department is outsourced to the Philippines and good luck trying to get anyone on the phone who actually understands whats going on. I'm absolutely sick and tired of dealing with your company.
