Drake's point of service employees were always nice and helpful. Their customer service is terrible. They send the bill out BEFORE they do the treatment and then expect you to call for a service. Recently, they sent me a bill for termite "treatment" in the amount of $250 for the home and $212 for the attic totaling $462. When I called them to ask about the "treatment", they said they would send someone out.I did not realize that the "treatment" was nothing more than a person with a flashlight who spent less than 30 minutes at my home looking around. There was no "treatment". The technician could not get in my attic with his ladder and had to use mine. After 4 phone calls totaling over 60 minutes I was told the amount of $462 was for the inspection and the termite "bond" or insurance. My previous home insurance bond was $100 a year, not $462. I have attempted to get a hold of a supervisor for 4 weeks including 5 phone calls with no luck. Each time they tell me a supervisor will call and no one ever does. During this time, i have received relentless email invoices asking for the $462. Now at 30 days they have put my account in suspension, even though I have made 5+ attempts within 30 days to get this resolved. I have no problem paying for an inspection but I told the person on the phone each of the 5 times that I no longer want to have a bond as the price is way too high.All my phone calls are met with is yet another automated invoice through email. They are very good at billing people. They are terrible at responding to *********** supervisor has returned my call even after 5 phone calls with people telling me that someone would call. I would not recommend Drake to anyone. I am considering taking them to small claims court to bill them for my personal time as at this point I have spent over an hour and a half on the phone with no success.

5 starsI have been using Drake ************* for over 5 years, and they have ALWAYS worked with me to make my lawn the best-looking lawn in my cul-de-sac. Even my neighbors have complimented me on my awesome front lawn! I had a previous lawn company (Terminex) for almost 15 years and never received the individual service and attention I have been getting from Drake. They ALWAYS call back if I ever have a concern or need to discuss something with them.For example, I just got off the phone with the Manager, *****. I had some questions relative to my side lot and the fact some of the areas were not growing in as nicely as I expected. We discussed the shaded area (due to the big tree on this part of the property) as a potential issue and he gave me recommendations on watering as well as already scheduled additional treatments to assist in its renewal. I've had alkalinity issues in the past (which Drake remedied) and now I have a ** issue which they are working on. In fact, their employee (Fredo) has been another excellent source of information in helping me enhance the lawn. Last month, he came to do a fertilizer treatment, and we discussed clearing out the fallen leaves in this area, removing the thatch in places and adding play sand to get better results, which I completed over the last two weeks. He also took a soil sample at that time, which revealed the ** issue. He came out again Wednesday to complete another treatment (at no cost!) and ***** told me he plans to come out again in two weeks to survey the lawn and treat it again as necessary. I appreciate the way this company works with you to provide the best service possible.Review fromKira W

5 starsOur family started receiving their services a few years ago. Since then, we have seen a major decrease in pests in our lawn. Our dog is much happier, and so is our whole family being able to comfortably spend time outside. The techs are very friendly and the managers do a great job listening to any concerns. We've had a very good experience with Drake's lawn, landscaping and pest services. We are in our 2nd year with them, until we decided to try their residential irrigation services this year. Initial suggestions to add irrigation heads and a rain sensor were paid for to become an irrigation customer. We then found out they don't like working with our Rachio irrigation controller. After 2 attempts to make the rain sensor work with our Rachio unit, I had to look it up and rewire it myself. The rain sensor was canceling our irrigation schedules, so our lawn and landscaping went several weeks without watering, which led to significant lawn ********. Fortunately, there was no damage to the more expensive landscaping. Then I had to notice the added irrigation heads they suggested led to overwhelming the zone they were on, which led to poor water flow and more ******** of the lawn. All this time, their lawncare team are writing reviews to water the lawn more. They promote communication among their various service teams, but it doesn't happen. After their irrigation team finally made a couple of visits, I had to suggest adding another valve and zone to solve the problem, which they did, and I paid for. After the work was completed, our pump and piping exploded. After more troubleshooting on my part, I found that their **, had disconnected the common wire in the Rachio controller while troubleshooting, which led to the valves not working when the pump came on. The backpressure led to the damage of older equipment, but it had been working fine. I replaced it myself after they gave me a $900 quote to do it. I've been beyond patient and friendly, simply wanting to discuss our poor experience and whether we're a good fit. After MANY attempts to reach the ** and now the District Manager, I've received no return calls. After a great initial experience, we're now uncertain whether we'll continue any services next year. Commercial business seems to be the priority.Drake Lawn & Pest Control, Inc.

5 starsDrake Pest came into a tough situation. I had an issue with "pests" that a prior company could not resolve. This went on for several visits. A friend of mine who has been using Drake for a long time suggested I give them a call. I reached out, and from the point of that call until the present day, things have been great! They came in and swept the entire property, went into my attic and around the house, inside and out. The pests probably saw the duck truck pull up and pack their bags because, aside from a few that they flushed out, I haven't seen one since I switched to Drake. I have since signed on with them for lawn as well and am equally as happy with the results I am seeing there. I highly recommend this company to anyone searching for a reliable company to assist with lawn and pest control.Review fromAlicia V
