Purchased airline tickets with this company, after purchase they call you saying the price of the fair went up and say anything into deceiving you into paying by even saying the fee is "taxes".Business Response

Hi,
First of all We want to extend our sincerest apologies
concerning the issues that the customer has faced with us and that we could not offer her the same
fare and the flights that the customer requested online as unfortunately the fares and
availability are not under our control as it strictly depends on the
availability of the inventory in the flights. When we priced the ticket, the
negotiated fare quoted at the time of advertising/disclosing on the website,
was no longer accepted by the airline due to which we have to re-price the
ticket and accordingly we inform the same to the customer before charging the Card and we even sent an charge authorization to the Card holder with the new revise fare. The card holder accepted the new fare verbally an even on written after the approval given by the Card holder than we only charge and issue the ticket. As a travel agency, we put our best to provide cheaper fares to all
our customers and we will ensure to provide a better booking experience. We
really apologize as we have no control over the negotiated and discounted
fare, but to sell a ticket in which the fares are approved by the airline. Please Find the attached file as a proof .Thank you!Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I was charged twice for the same fair, the price I was supposed to pay was $584.77. They tacked on an additional charged called "Government's Cut" for $114.00 which I did not authorize. I sent them an email back asking a cancelation of the reservation and full refund which was ignored.

This company took my confirmation number for a flight and canceled my flight in order to try to keep me with his company instead. He offered me 5000 dollars in travel vouchers if my flight was confirmed then asked for the confirmation code and then canceled my flight. I booked what I thought was a standard airfare though Justairticket. After providing my personal info including credit card numbers and birth dates, I moved on to the next booking step which should have been seat assignments. However I got a message that I would need to call justairticket to determine if I was who I was. Because this seemed very unusual and suspicious I looked at the BBB complaints filed against them. There are similar complaints in which after calling back justairfare attempts to raise airfare costs. This appears to be a classic bait and which tactic. So I don’t want to do any business with this company and will dispute any charges to my credit card by Justairticket.Initial Complaint

On November 21, 2022 I went to the website for this company, Justairticket, trying to purchase an airline ticket from Chattanooga, TN to Manila, Philippines from Dec 17-Dec 29 2022 and found a good price of $2649.98 round trip. When I called and talked to an agent he informed me that the price was actually over $2800.00. When I asked why the listed price was different than what he quoted me, he said everybody did that and that they would not honor the posted price so I did not make the purchase. I am not sure if he just told me about the bait and switch to charge more money or if everybody does do business like that. Either way it is wrong and unethical and should not be allowed. It should go for the posted (advertised) price. If they do not make it right, this company may have lost a potential repeat customer because I hope to make more trips like this in the future with some agency or airline.Business Response

All the price shown on our website are dynamic in nature since the airline fare fluctuates every single minute. Until and unless the seats are confirmed in the system, the price is dynamic. It can be less or higher.
Similarly for this booking the customer is complaining about, it is more likely that the price fluctuated before it got connfirmed in the system.Initial Complaint

I am filing a dispute based upon poor customer care and lack of initiative for a customer request to make adjustments to flight plans Set for Wednesday November 9th leaving from Philadelphia to Accra round trip. REFERENCE NUMBER ******** // ****** is the confirmation detail given to me and it will be a flight leaving from ****** Airlines. Date : 17 October 2022and the Reference Number : ********. this transaction was made in $1,232.00 via debit ending in*****. I have called on four separate occasions on the 14th of October, October 22nd, November 4th and today November 6th ( CC *************) to get my request done and I've been getting the runaround for literally two weeks for the same request and I'm completely fed up and I am looking for a resolution. The customer service agent had the audacity to ask me why did I book for one location when I needed to make a change to another and I advised her that's condescending and none of her business to ask me a personal question like that. The representative I spoke to gave me a pseudo name called "Carol M*****" which is something I know many customer care companies do to protect the name of their representatives. This same representative also told me that the male individual I spoke to a week or so ago was on "sick leave" and no one forwarded the information to get resolved, having my request six pending and unattended to. This same representative that told me when I called at 7:10 PM eastern Standard Time to wait for a response 3 hours from that time in order to get help with my request for my changes I was asking for. Respectfully, working in a call center experience wise for a nice time I know that things like that should not take that long for a customer care representative to answer but it says no surprise as this company is littered with complaints as being a sham travel agency business. Shame on me for not doing the research but I cannot let this slide as this is is now a financial mess and costing me time wasted.Business Response

We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused!
Rerouting of a confirmed ticket is usually banned by the airline depending on the type of air fare they purchased especially when it comes to an international flight.
The customer requested to change the destination and to convert the ticket from a round trip to a one-way ticket.
However, luckily the airline ********* allow to reroute and to even converth the original ticket to a desired route upon paying a cange fee and the difference in fare if there is any.
So, here for this ticket, the total change cost was way higher than the original ticket due to which the customer was advised to get it canceled (with a cheaper fee) and book a new ticket which he agreed verbally and in an email as well.
Fares are something that we are unable to control as most of our fares shown on the website are BULK fare meant for Travel agencies, due to which we are not getting a cheaper fare while trying to make a change to the route.
We really feel sorry for the customer as we cannot control the airline fare however we did try our best and find the most convenient solution that would benefit the customer the most.Initial Complaint

I purchased flight tickets through a travel agency (www.justairticket.com) on December 2019 for $805. This '*****************' flight was set to depart from San Diego (SAN), and arrive in Narita, Japan (NRT) on April 2020. Due to the pandemic, Japan's borders were closed to tourism. I waited until the last day before the flight to cancel the ticket and **************** told me that I had to cancel the ticket through JustAirTicket which I did. JustAirTicket charged me $55 to cancel the ticket and told me that I could only use this credit to rebook the same flight to Japan. This was impossible since Japan's borders were closed to tourism until June 2022. I called JustAirTicket constantly throughout 2020, 2021, and 2022 requesting a refund. I spoke with several people, include a "Jeffrey N*****", "Bob", "Ran" although I am skeptical that these were their real names. Every time I would call, they said that my refund would be issued in 30 days and to call back in 30 days. Sometimes they would tell me to call ***************** and deal directly with them since the airline would handle the refunds, but they were incorrect and not telling the truth. They would constantly give me the "runaround" and tell me to check my credit card within 30 days, but the refund was never ever given. I asked for an update on my flight credit status and asked them to email me, but I was never given an email status update. Ultimately, they told me that my ticket expired in March 2022 but it was impossible to book a flight to Japan since they were not open to tourism until June 2022. I felt cheated and lied to this entire time. I am still requesting a refund of my flight ticket and all cancellation fees. I have been in contact with Danny D**** most recently, who has given me the "runaround" again.
