10/13/2022 Resort Cancellation Services Contacted me by phone.
They presented themselves as a legit company with a web page and video testimonials.
At the time my husbands health has not good and we could not use our time share.
We have 4 contracts with Wyndham that were paid in full, no loan.
This company stated that if I paid the $5992.00 they would sell my contracts or refund my money. I contacted them on several occasions including lowering my asking prices. Never once did I get a offer or sale. I feel as though they just took advantage of my current situation and created a false web page to make it appear as though they were trying to sell my contracts.Business Response

Thank you for your feedback on the marketing of your timeshare. We do understand your concern, and urgency on this matter due to your spouse health. You do have 4 contracts that have been presented to multiple families at different events. We also see there was a price reduction request, and a representative did speak with you in March 29, 2023 with some updates. Your 4 contracts are being advertised, and marketed daily and presented weekly. The representative priority is generating offers to get you out of the timeshare. We did receive an email from you on July 13, 2023 which a customer service agent responded to. Customer service did also try to contact you by phone on July 14, 2023 to give further assistance, and left a voicemail. Please feel free to reply to email, or contact our customer service department at 866-663-2632. We appreciate this opportunity assisting you, and hope to speak with you soon.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I only received an e-mail and phone call because I reached out to them and the BBB. After returning their call the customer service contact provided me the same speech. My contracts were on an exclusive list and getting more exposure. Never once did they state they have been formally reviewed by any potential buyers. There is one month left per their contract to sell my time shares. That is all I want, sell or refund.
Sincerely,

I was initially contacted by RCS in early December of 2022. Contracts were supposed to be signed by both me and my wife. Although the contract was never signed by my wife it was put into effect anyhow. I have attempted to cancel this contract continuously with no response from RCs. The issue started on December 22nd 2002 and I have attempted to cancel contract since. Space I believe that this company is a complete scam as I have had no offers or Communications with them since.Business Response

Thank you for expressing your concerns. We do allow any owner to sign our marketing agreement when assisting you with your timeshare so your wife is not obligated to sign as you both are owners. If you've attempted to cancel the contract in December please forward original email with cancellation request by email to *****************. Our customer service department receives and responds to all emails daily. You can also contact customer service toll free number to confirm receipt of email at ************. I was contacted by Resort Cancellation Service about re-selling my Hilton Grand Vacation Time Share. They told me I could sale my timeshare for $47,498.00. They said I would get multiple offers, and that I would need to respond quickly once contacted. I agreed and paid them $3,498.00 via a debit card on 09/10/2022. After a month I did not hear anything, so i tried to contact them via ************** I did not get a response on my first several attempts, but then someone answered and said that someone would return my call. After a week, I did not get a return call, so I tried again. After several attempts, a representative told me that they had gotten started advertising, but not to expect anything for 60 - 90 days. I never received a call. After the first of the year, I would periodically attempt to reach someone, but no one would answer. On March 23, 2023 I was actually able to get someone on the phone. Stephanie. I expressed that I felt I was defrauded and that I was NEVER contacted for updates as promised or presented a buyers offer. I asked for options and Stephanie suggested reducing the price. I asked for the price to be reduced to $30,000, seeing how my HGV loan balance was $17,000. She said I should definitely get offers with the reduced price. I never got a call. I recently found out that I am not eligible to resell my timeshare because I had a balance but they sold this offer to me fraudulently. Now it's beyond the 4 month window for my bank to dispute the charge and I cannot get my money back. I've tried to call them but I do not get any resolution. I call multiple times and only once a woman answered my call and I began to complain and she hung up on me. They have not taken my calls since. I am frustrated because they deliberately knew I could not sell my timeshare, drug things out beyond the window for me to dispute the charge with my bank, and do not have the decency to take my calls to try and resolve this matter. I am rejecting this response because: In response to your inquiry, RCS simply called and left me a message and sent me an email stating that they have posted my timeshare for resale. That is not satisfying me, because as I stated before, legally they cannot sale my timeshare because I have a loan balance on it, and they knew this, yet they fraudulently sold me a service they know they cannot do. I want a refund.
Sincerely,

In regards to your timeshare loan you are able to sell the ownership at anytime while there is still a loan. We are aware that you have a loan which the balance will be paid from sales proceeds during the title transfer process and the remaining proceeds will be paid directly to you. We do appreciate your time and will have a team member contact you. Thank you

In July 2022, we signed a contract with Resort Cancellation Services to sell our timeshare. The contract indicates that after 10 months, if the property does not sell then they would connect ** with their legal team to cancel the "contract" - which we were told meant the timeshare contract. They contacted me a couple of times after that and we discussed the property. After that, my business failed and my mother passed and I did not have where with all to track them. I am now getting back online and I have made attempts to reach them. I am unable to reach anyone in the organization. I have called them and left messages at the ************ reach number on the website. I have received no response.Initial Complaint

On 1/13/23 Daniel G***** from Resort Cancellation Services (RCS) contacted us via telephone with an offer to sell or rent our two timeshare properties. After Daniel convinced us that he would help us through this process and that he and his RCS team would be available, we decided to do business with RCS. We paid them $2596.00 to sell or rent our two timeshares. The telephone number we recieved from Daniel as his direct contact is ************. Unfortunately, everytime we call that number we get a busy signal, which leads us to believe the number is disconnected. We then call their customer services number, ************. Unfortunately, that line is always picked up by voicemail with a promise to call us back. Of all the times we called, we only recieved one call back, which we unable to accept at that time. They left a message to call them back on the same number, which only starts the above process again. Daniel also told us that RCS would get us a refund on monies we paid to a different timeshare exit company that was not successful for us. We submitted all the necessary papework for that to happen. RCS responded via email that they will have their recovery department start its verification process. That's the last we heard from them regarding that issue. Based on the lack of communication and service, we are concerned we are victims of fraud and we are requesting you help us get a refund of the $2596.00 we paid to RCS.Business Response

On 10/23/2022 I was contacted by Resort Cancellation company regarding selling a timeshare. I paid 1,498 for them to list and sell the property. I was told they would have it done within 3 mos. I reached out to them in December for an update and was given a fake listing of the property. As of this date, I have not heard from anyone at the company, nor has the company forwarded any information. I believe this company is a scam company preying on elderly citizens..Business Response
