Tried to get a cancel/refund the day of after reading email. I was told it was a vacation. After reading email it was a timeshare. I called and cancelled same day 01/31/2025. They still took my money off my card. I have called 3 times since for a refund and no refund. They keep pushing for me to set up dates for timeshare vacation. I'm disabled and living off a small disable check monthly. When the was telling me about a vacation for $281.37 total everything is paid for and have a year to pick my vacation dates I was happy. Then i found out it through email I would have to sit through a 2 hour timeshare siminar I knew with my disability i wouldn't be able to sit through the siminar. I just want my refund of $281.37 . I'm realy thinking I was scammed. I cant even get on thier website now with my name and conformation number. $281.37 is alot of money to me. ******Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I am writing this review about Club Sunterra and Diamond Resorts due to the deceptive practices and misrepresentations that continued through multiple contracts and "mandatory" presentations. In 2007, I was held hostage for over two hours in what was promised to be a 3045-minute presentation, using high-pressure tactics to coerce me, a single mother, into purchasing more than my original ***** points for $1*****. They concealed crucial information about the contract's perpetual nature and the mandatory inheritance of maintenance fees by my children. In 2013 we entered another contract with Diamond Resorts, they lied about the necessity of purchasing Hawaii Collection points to access Hawaiian resorts. This cost an additional $22,595. In 2016, the team in ************** exploited the situation to extract another $17,477 instead of making things right. In October 2022 **** ********** continued this pattern of deception, forcing me to purchase an additional ***** points for $10,375 and manipulating me into applying for a specific credit card. I am retired and the fees keep increasing; I am unable to financially maintain the membership. On September 29th I contacted HGV to begin the exit process.I was directed to complete an online Transition Form. When I hit Submit it came up with an error message that could not be fixed online.I contacted HGV and was transferred to the *********************** They explained it wouldnt be reviewed until sometime next year, and I would still be responsible for the 2025 maintenance fees.I questioned the backlog and was told that it was in order to perform a title search on each contract. It should be noted a title search was done with each purchase, completed day of purchase. The delay is unwarranted. In addition to the maintenance fees, I was told that there would also be a relinquishing fee for each contract, the three of which would total an additional $10,227. The deception and disappointment never ends with them!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I want to share my experience with so called Vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacation HGV which is a scam first and foremost and has become a financial burden. I bought a timeshare in April of 2023, hoping for memorable vacations, with a points system that is a joke and nothing that was said in the 5 hr grueling presentation has flourished. Since acquiring the timeshare, I haven't used it due to the complex reservation process, nothing is every available. According to them reservations would be easy and they are the largest in the industry and can offer so may travel options/places. The need to book travel dates far in advance as 2-3 years because I've tried to book 6 to 12 months in advance and nothing is every available. The misleading of this so called vacation club needs to be made aware to future consumers. DO NOT, AGAIN DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BLACK HOLE OF A TIME SHARE!!! This company considers itself to be reputable then be reputable in allowing people to get rid of it or buying it back since you feel what you are selling is such a great thing. I can no longer justify the expense for something that I am paying monthly but cant access at all. Lets not talk about having to pay to roll over points when I was told in the presentation that I can just roll them over for the next year. I dont even have points for this year and even when I had them every time I tried using them there was a hidden fee/cost to book said reservation. How do you take points out of someone's account because they didnt use them. Equivalent to a bank taking money out of your account bc you didnt use the money. The Attorney General and government officials need to be more proactive in taking down businesses that are scamming people out of these misleading offers. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH -- any way you look at it. They should be ashamed of what they are doing to hard working individuals. Own it Hilton!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

As retired seniors and a ************** veteran, we were ruthlessly misled and financially exploited by Hilton Grand Vacations. What began as a simple vacation inquiry turned into a nightmare of deception and financial burden. Our situation included a manipulative three-hour sales presentation where our identification was confiscated, effectively trapping us. The sales team deliberately misled us about contract cancellation rights, pushed us into financing, and made false promises about membership benefits.Despite being charged over $18,000 with $15,000 still owed, we have been unable to book a single room. The contract is riddled with confusing language and misrepresentations about what we were actually purchasing. As fixed-income retirees, this predatory contract has caused immense stress and financial strain. They targeted us and are draining us of our money. We are sharing our experience to warn other potential customers about ********************' unethical sales practices. We expect and hope the company will review and respond to our concerns.Veterans, seniors and really everyone, BEWARE of Hilton Grand Vacations' deceptive timeshare sales tactics!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

This whole thing is such a scam. Please DO NOT buy into the Hilton timeshare program. My father and late mother bought in. Recently my father and his new partner stayed in the timeshare and were coaxed into attending yet another session, during which my 86 year old father (who had fallen and broken 3 ribs and had bronchitis) was sold an upgrade (which he never should have signed). He immediately realized the mistake and we sent in a signed rescind letter after speaking to someone from HGV on the phone, who told us we were within the 7 day rescind window and needed to get a letter postmarked out that day saying they no longer wanted to process in order to annul the process. We did so. Despite calling now 3 times to follow up after the rescind letter was received nearly 2 weeks ago, we have heard nothing from the Hilton, no return calls, no emails to follow up, nothing. We are trying to avoid going the legal route, but will in order to deal with this. The whole thing is such a scam that preys on older people. They could at least have respect enough to answer, to return phone calls, to let us know whether they will honor that rescind letter (which they told us to send). Terrible, terrible business. On this page, they say they will follow up with the poster's case - I highly doubt that is true. They just ghost you. The messed up thing is that my father actually still has the original timeshare, so we are in fact clients, we just don't want the upgrade and went through the proper channels to rescind it.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I am leaving this review because our experience with HGV has been a nightmare. Our maintenance fees increased and we were told that they wouldnt. They promised that the timeshare would be a great investment, that we could book at any time, which was a complete lie. We were misled, manipulated into staying and pressured into signing a contract. This all started when we attended the presentation. We were introduced to ***** *****. Once she learned that we werent interested due to the upcoming expenses from Phils motorcycle accident, she got emotional. She told us about her sons death and how she struggled to leave the house since his accident. Her tears and the pain in her voice seemed to be an attempt to connect on a personal level, which I later realized was just a play on our emotions. After two hours, we expressed that we needed time to think things over and wanted to go home, but we were told the deal was only available that day. ***** and her sales manager insisted we sit for one more round, this time with the numbers. I asked what would happen to the timeshare when we passed away. They assured us it would be passed down to our children, no strings attached, but she didnt mention they would inherit the forever increasing maintenance fees. After 4.5 hours of repeated refusalswe ended up signing the timeshare documents. We were manipulated by *****, as she kept saying we had a second chance at life. She told us to contact her anytime we had issues. However, after two months of calling her, she ghosted us.When I tried to book online, I got nowhere. I had to call the 800 number to be told that the resorts I wanted to book werent available. I had to settle for hotels that had been converted into resorts.Customer service is horrible and dismissive to my concerns. They told me I should have known better. Let this be a warning, stay away from Hilton Grand Vacations!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I terminated my contract 3 days after signing the contract with HGV resorts. According to Florida state law i had up to 10 days to do it. We did it exactly how it was spelled out in the rescission portion of the contract. They did not honor the rescission or the contract and still pushed the mortgage through illegally. They broke contract and have refused to reply to our countless emails, calls and voicemails. We have contacted the attorney general of Florida, consumer affairs, consumer protection and the federal trade commissioner. We are talking to our lawyer to press criminal charges of forgery, larceny in the 1st, and identity theft. Im looking forward to your auto response to my review as every response is pretty identical and Im sure you dont look into anything.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Today 1/15/25 - I was offered a grand vacation package when we visited ************* back in 2022 and stayed at *********** Hilton in ********. I postponed few times because I got pregnant and was impossible to travel with an infant. Fast forward last year, I contacted them for ******* stay and paid $50 to extend the package. However, I cancelled the reservation due to timeshare meeting with someone that doesnt fit my itinerary at *********** as you all may know that the admission to theme parks are scheduled per your tickets. I called them back again and asked to swap to ********* and the package is good through December 2025. Fast forward today, I called them back wanted to swap again to ****** LA. The agent was playing dumb sh*t with me and said it was never swap to *********. I wanted to speak to supervisor and support and he told me that theyre busy and no one is available and theres nothing he can for me. I have the email confirmation stating ********* location, etc. It is a scam. Please dont fall for it.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

My experience with them was very upsetting. I was at a family anniversary party and this lady was the rudest most obnoxious person I have ever had to deal with. All of my family members kept telling me to hang up on her but because I'm not the rude person she was I listened. She said it was a one time offer to purchase with Hilton, a 3 night, 4 day room for $199. I had a year to make a reservation. I often visit ****************** and always stay at the Hilton. When I went to reserve a room for March I was told this offer was only for ************ and it was with the understanding that I spend 2 hours of my time listening to a sales pitch to purchase a Time Share, which I have no interest whatsoever. So they took my money and I now don't get my special in Ft ***** and I have to go to ****** World plus listen to more of their BS. Don't recommend at all. They need to be honest with what they are actually calling about and they need to quit scamming people to make a couple hundred bucks.****** DHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

My nightmare with Hilton Grand Vacations began when they acquired Diamond Resorts, where I was an existing timeshare owner. During the transition, I was pressured into buying more points, with salespeople warning me that my booking options would become limited unless I entered the "Hilton Bucket" and that my dues would increase due to fewer members in the "Diamond Path." They encouraged me to use Hilton **************** cards with 0% interest for down payments and maintenance fees - which I had to drain my savings to pay off before they jumped to 30% interest. I was 65 at the time, and they showed no concern about offering such risky financial options to a senior citizen. The salespeople also misled me about earning Hilton Honors points and promised upgrades to the old Diamond Resort properties that never happened. The ********************************** in ************ and some Hawaii locations are in terrible condition - small rooms, outdated furniture, and worn carpets - definitely not what you'd expect from the Hilton name! Booking has become nearly impossible, maintenance fees are through the roof, and I'm stuck with a timeshare that's nothing like what was promised. I'm sharing this to warn others about their deceptive sales tactics and poor-quality resorts. Save yourself the headache and financial strain - stay away from Hilton Grand Vacations timeshares!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
