1 star!!!! THIS IS A WARNING FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE TARGETS FOR HOLIDAY INNS MANIPULATIVE GAME!!!
Holiday Inn told us we would be attending an “informative seminar.” If the workers use these words around you, run in the other direction. Because we fell for their game, we spent around 4 hours under intense pressure to purchase a timeshare with them. All the glamour they told us about, like getting vacations easily and cheaper, this being an investment and it basically paying for itself were all lies. Over $2,000 and almost 2 years later, we have only been able to take ONE vacation??? Holiday Inn, I did not know your work ethic consisted of stripping away people’s hard-earned money by lying to them in the most ridiculous and inhumane ways.Review fromCynthia R

1 starThey ran a credit check without telling me that was what they were doing. Said I would be "VIP" and made it seem like customer service would be great but they never reply to emails and when I call I get transfered around like I'm on a carousel. They're properties are ok... just OK. Don't fall for the hype. There's much better timeshare/resort/vacation rentals out there that don't treat you like crap and actually have real resort amenities.Review fromShannon J

Second part of my review
When I booked they kept telling me that the the doubletree was the only hotel left. They end up waving the 150.00 fee and I told them I want more points so they increased my 15,000 to 30,000 points and I’m able to book somewhere else when I’m ready to book again. Never again I will stick with just Hilton and not HGV. How do they expect for you to purchase a timeshare but you put your people in a raggedy hotel or resort. I wish I could upload pictures. We got there in the 18th and left on the 19th of May, 2023 and we drove to Fayetteville,NC and stayed at the Embassy. It was a way better choice. HGV better not never, ever, say anything else to me about a promotion. They can keep it.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I am extremely upset with myself for even taking the time of day to take this soliciting call but I thought, hey, let me give them a change. What a joke! The sales person lied about almost everything. I was told that I would get accommodations for 4 people to include my 2 boys, resort fees would be waived, no parking fees and several hotels to chose from. I called to make my reservations today and I chose the Tuscany Hotel initially but she said they could NOT accommodate 4 guests. She said that they only way I can stay at the Tuscany but to upgrade it would be an additional $80/day. So I passed on it. She then was snippy and said you can stay at The Hilton Orlando but note you will have to pay $27/day for parking. I finally gave in and said, just book it and get it over with. I asked to talk to customer service to request a reimbursement and she said that that's not feasible as the promotion is non-refundable. How do you expect to sell time shares when the initial conversations are all lies. Do you really think I would even remotely consider investing? I have been a Hilton's Honor Member and travel quite a bit for business and this was my last straw. I was able to get connected with someone in Concierge who changed my reservation to the Tuscany with a room upgrade but I still had to pay the $150 extra charge to bring my 2 babies. Unacceptable and this is not a healthy business - they are bringing down the Hilton name with this timeshare scam. Very disappointed.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

This is nothing short of a scam. The guy on the phone was truly lovely and made it sound amazing. I’m from NYC so I don’t easily trust sales pitches. I asked when I could book the vacation and specifically said that I wanted to use it during the first two weeks of September to take my grandmother to Hilton Head for her birthday and reiterated several times that I wanted to ensure that I wasn’t buying something that I could not use. He reassured me that “this is not a scam where we make you promises just to get you to buy something” and stated that even though I could not see any available rooms for this resort on their website during the two week window, the Hilton concierges have access to additional rooms that they do not allow the public to view. He said I would have no problem booking during those dates. Since he said that I could not book until the next day, I called the next day after telling my grandmother about our new plans to celebrate her bday and (of course) the representative said that there were no rooms available during all of September. Wow - this company is literally negatively impacting people’s lives and taking their money with no regard for the ethical implications of doing so. Do not utilize this company for anything!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

My wife and I attended a presentation for a time share At Waikoloa Grand Towers Hawaii April 18, 2023. We attended a presentation which took nearly three hours. I made a decision to not buy at that time, however, in leaving, another offer was made by the VIP service. My wife looked unhappy, so I decided to do it. After we got back from our trip and looked at all the money spent, I decided to nix it. I called a representative in Orlando and told her that I would like to cancel any future presentations She said, that's fine, however, it sometimes takes up to 30 days to receive you funds back. She said that I was also in the time limit allowed to cancel and someone would be in touch with me. I heard nothing so in a couple weeks called and spoke to a guy, who told me the paperwork was in process and I should receive a refund on the card I used to secure it. A month went by, so on May 23, 2023, I called again. The first girl I spoke with was rude, and said, no, you should have filled out that request on a written form. I said , no, the last two agents I spoke with did not mention any of that. So, I asked for a manager. She said she will have a manger get back with me, but that may take a couple of weeks. I called again a spoke with another gal who appologized and said she would put in an urgent request to have resolve this matter.
As of now, still waiting for my refund. As I am on Social Security, this is eating a hole in my pocket??Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I purchased a vacation for $225 to Las Vegas before Covid. I was not able to travel to Las Vegas. I asked if I could change the location of my vacation. They said yes. So with that knowledge, I started requesting dates and different locations. The response I would usually get is... "there are no available rooms". Now there is extra fee to extend the vacation date or else lose my $225.
THEY WOULD GET NO STAR FROM ME IF ALLOWED.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

[My personal opinion]
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN away from this SCAM!!! We purchased a three nite stay at a certain hotel. It was a great value.
The only catch is that you are required to attend an EXTREMELY PRESSURE FILLED sales pitch for a timeshare. During the meeting, three separate sales consultants talked in vagaries & circles with NO SPECIFITY.
As an attorney, I asked to see & review the contract & purported "deed". One of the managers responded that I was giving him a hard time & he would show us the paperwork ONLY if we were going to spend $21,000.00 for the "buy-in" plus over $1,000.00 per year in maintenance fees FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES [also, this "maintenance fee INCREASES EVERY YEAR]!!! ??????. These sales people were young, rude & obnoxious!!!
The entire encounter with this group was quite insulting. I really, really encourage you to Google "Hilton Grand Vacations Reviews" & read all of the reviews. I am SCHOCKED that this company has not been shut down as essentially everything that you are told is completely untrue...
It is much cheaper to book your vacation through a trusted travel agent or through an on-line service. Hilton Grand just wants up-front money & yearly payments for a hotel room in a very limited amount of destinations.
DON'T DO IT!!! It is, in my opinion, a very terrible scam!!!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Hilton does NOT HONOR their word! I was promised when I bought my vacation package that I would receive 50000 bonus points upon completion of the sales presentation. After my trip I checked my account, no points. Okay no problem, it takes several weeks for the points to show up. A few months later I saw they gave me 15000 points. I thought that must just be for the stay and the rest are still coming. They never showed up in my account. I called to let them know they still owe me 35000 points and they said they gave me 15000 points and a $50 activity credit as my gift, so I don't get anything else. Hilton Grand Vacation lied to me and tricked me into forfeiting my points! Unless this gets worked out, I will never stay at a Hilton property again.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
