      Hilton Grand Resort offers low-cost stays at one of their hotels and accepts payment before divulging that a 2-hour sales pitch for time-share is required which I believe is fraudulent!!

      I was making a reservation via telephone for one of their hotels when a man got on and offered me a 4-day/3-night stay in one of their many destinations of my choice. Thought it was a promotion that I couldn’t pass up! I pre-paid
      $224.87. I chose a nearby destination and when it came time to book, I received via email a confirmation, page 2 of which stated that “this material is for the purpose of soliciting timeshare interests”, etc but nowhere does it state that a 2 hour sales pitch is required during the stay in order to be allowed the price stated in that original phone call! I would not have paid any amount of money upfront had I been told that that two hours sales pitch was required!
      I have since canceled and they say they are sending me reimbursement in a check form via regular mail but in the meantime, I have promised my two grandsons a beach vacation so have booked another place ( not a Hilton property) and paying a lot more money!
      I believe their sales tactics are deceiving and an insult to my integrity!!

      Hilton Grand Vacations has pinned us down on a useless timeshare contract. This entire process has been 1 massive lie after another. Everything about Hilton Grand Vacations is one big bait and switch. They offer you ‘free gifts’ in exchange for your soul, and endless generations of maintenance fees and “other special assessment fees”. This is NOT worth whatever ‘free’ gift they’re offering. My son went with me, and they got him on the hook for this loan as well! How incredibly wrong on Hilton’s part. Who wants their child to incur debt like this, no one. Anytime they tell you the meetings are 90-minutes or less, expect to realistically be there for 4+ hours every single time. This is ridiculous, you’re supposed to be vacationing and enjoying your time, not being trapped for hours, and pressured into signing a contract that you don’t want.

      This is a scam! Do not fall for it. They put a tremendous amount of pressure on you, they hold your driver's license hostage and force you into this agreement. Then forget about canceling within 30-45 days. The numbers they give you never get you anywhere. They pretend your account doesn't exist. Then you get a bill foe maintenance fees on a membership that you can't even use. If you don't pay the fees, they will put a foreclosure on your credit. This is nothing but a scam!

      Take this review as a warning to avoid buying a timeshare from Hilton Grand Vacations. This is not an honest business and just by seeing what everyone else is saying, this is a well-organized scam. For starters, timeshares aren’t going to save you any money compared to booking a traditional hotel, at least not with Hilton. They are very persistent when they sell you this junk and there’s a reason for that, it’s all a swindle! Once you buy a timeshare with Hilton, you’re stuck with it for life, not just the timeshare but the astronomical amount of debt and costs associated with it. Hilton WON’T take it back as we were told initially, and the worst part is your children inherit the timeshare and all the debt when you pass! So, what’s the benefit of having a Hilton timeshare??? NOTHING, it’s all smoke and mirrors! Don’t trust them, and don’t go to any of their presentations no matter what they’re offering. Part of their schtick is to get you to open credit cards with them to fund the useless timeshare. They constantly hound you to upgrade and pay more to enhance your experience but it’s just like taking your money and setting it on fire. How do they get away with this you ask??? They manipulate you to sign a ton of legal documents that lock you into the timeshare for life, but what’s in the fine print is contrary to what the sales agents tell you! I’m actively trying to get out of my timeshare with Hilton and I’ve discovered that there were a ton of violations that they committed when they sold this to me. I’m done with these crooks. Don’t let the iconic name fool you, Hilton is nothing but a shady scam!!!! Looking forward to seeing the sales agents face judgment for what they’re doing!

      I am very upset that I have been waiting for my refund since February 7,2023. I was told it takes 8-12 weeks. Still I did not receive refund so I called back May 8,2023 which ask to speak with supervisor and I was told supervisor would contact me by end of business day. No one contact me so I called back on the May 10,2023 I was told the same thing and again no one contacted me. I called again on May 12, was told check was process and I should receive it in 14 days. Here it is today is May 26,2023 and still no check, so I called in now there saying another 8-12 weeks this is ridiculous. Ask to speak to supervisor and was put on hold for 20 minutes only for supervisor to send message I have to wait so I ask to speak with whom is over supervisor and of course there not in I ask for information to make complaint with corporate and was told this is corporate. Once again someone will contact me, here it is May,31 no refund so I called back this time manager assured me she put in complaint to see what’s going on and someone would contact me again no one called me. It’s June 1,3023 Hilton is this how you do your customers are we not worthy but you’ll can take our money. No one should have to go through this I’m going to contact Better Business Bureau.How unfair differently never recommending Hilton .

      Terrible Experience - Unauthorized Reservation and Poor Service


      I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the horrendous experience I had with Hilton Grand Vacations. I feel compelled to share my negative experience publicly to warn others about the lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.

      To my absolute dismay, a reservation was made on my behalf without my consent, completely violating my privacy. Instead of honoring my request for a Hilton vacation package in Las Vegas, I was left dumbfounded when I discovered a reservation had been made for Orlando. This unauthorized booking not only shows a complete disregard for customer preferences but also reflects a severe lack of integrity.

      Despite demanding the immediate cancellation of the unauthorized Orlando reservation and swift attention to my original request, I have been met with nothing but frustration and incompetence. The lack of urgency and accountability in addressing this matter is truly disheartening.

      The level of service I have received is simply unacceptable. The fact that my privacy was violated and my original request was completely ignored demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. It is evident that your company fails to prioritize the needs and preferences of its customers.

      I implore anyone reading this review to think twice before engaging with this company. The disregard for customer consent, privacy, and the inability to fulfill basic requests are clear indicators of the poor service you can expect to receive. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by choosing a more reputable and customer-focused company for your travel needs.

      For the last 17 years, my family and I have been victims of Diamond’s convoluted timeshare scam and we have had enough! We have been to presentations all across the country and all of them are the same. The staff pressures and manipulates you for hours, they lie, they convince you that what you were sold at the last presentation was not enough and they offer to “help”. We’ve been told we could rent our points for income, which is not possible, especially when we barely ever had enough points for our own vacations. The point requirements for reservations always change, making it easier to sell you more points because they become “necessary”. There is also a very limited and convoluted way to use points for airfare and cruises, making it insufficient for our needs. We have spent so much money in almost 2 decades and gotten very little in return.

      The relationship started off fairly nice, but with each trip and each presentation, we find ourselves in more and more debt and the vacationing experience has become unbearable!

      Stay away from these scam artist. Made promises of gifts and free vacations but, when I told them I don't use credit cards they gave me nothing but an attitude and no apology for their mistake not mine. When they ask if your interested, just say NO!!!!

      On June 14th, 2022, Hilton Grand Vacations robbed us of thousands of dollars by manipulating us into signing a contract with them! We were told we could take endless vacations with them and when we weren’t using it, we could make money by renting it out. However, we found that to be false information. They’ll tell you, it’s a short meeting about 30-minutes or so, but nope, once again another lie, we were there for 4 ½ hours. The closing officer couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing investment we were making and tried backing up that claim that he moonlights as a financial advisor. Turns out there is no investment here. We have never been able to book a vacation and when we received a bill for $1700 out of nowhere, we knew we had been scammed.

      Do NOT waste your time with them, especially if you are over the age of 60 as we think they prey on senior citizens! Book your vacations elsewhere! There’s nothing good that comes from Hilton Grand Vacations!!!

      What a scam at least in Cabo. We sat through a presentation as diamond owners and they offered a 5 days fixed rate visit. We bought and it has now been over 6 months since they were supposed to send us this package. I called the 800 number and they have no record but my credit card was charged and I have the contract. Avoid Hilton Grand Vacations at all COSTA.
