I am extremely disappointed with Hilton. I called the Strathallan hotel to modify a reservation I booked for a wedding. At the end of the call the receptionist was not making any sense and transferred me to a different line where a woman said that I am lucky I got selected for this package with no strings attached. Further into the conversation after getting my credit card information she mentioned that I had to attend a presentation. Immediately after the call I regretted what I did and felt deceived. I was just calling to modify a reservation. It is a terrible experience to get transferred to a different phone line with salespeople that pressure you into something you were not expecting to encounter. Terrible. I am not unable to get a refund.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

1 starI have been trying to reach someone in the HOA for 3 weeks now about my maintenance fees. If I'm lucky to get someone on the phone at all, they route me to HOA (yeah right) but no one ever answers yet I'm supposed to fork over almost $1400 for inventory that's never available as this company promised/promises . It was decent the first few years, now the availability is 0 and the customer service is horrible or nonexistent. This is about the closest thing to Extortion I've ever experienced. As owners we bought into something and now it's common place to overhear people talk about how much cheaper they got their stay than you yet your maintenance fees continue to soar. I want someone from HOA to contact me about my ownership. Signed, a very disappointed veteran and retired law enforcement.Review fromBrandy P.

1 starI wouldn’t even give them 1 star if possible! We just stayed there for our delayed honeymoon from January 23-Feb 1st and checked out days early! For several days they had NO hot water in the winter time and the last day no water at all. No curtesy call that it would be shut off nothing. Not to mention when when checked in there were already people in our room. They gave someone else the same room. We called multiple times about the hot water and they told us it was hot. Clearly because it was a Friday night they didn’t want to do anything over the weekend. Then the sports bar fired the BEST bartender because no club soda in an old fashion. I’m not a bartender but I know that doesn’t go in that drink!!! The staff at hotel was rude and we got the hell out of there and spent last few days down the road! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Sincerely one pissed off bride!Review fromMyriah S

Just as an FYI... My fiance got so much anxiety from the amount of pressure these guys put on him that he ended up taking it out on me. That's correct he hit me multiple times because of the anxiety he felt from them. He even did it while we were in the office of the resort, slapping me super hard across the face because of what they were doing to his anxiety. We did not purchase the time share. And I'm glad we didn't. But I really could have done without the abuse that this company and their pressure just put me through. And yes, I have multiple bruises on me because of the anxiety they put him through. Thanks, not really.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Stay away from Hilton Grand vacation/Diamond resort. They have completely lied to us. Many of the selling points we were told were lies. For example, we were told that our maintenance fees Might increase by 1% annually but our last bill shows an increase of 8%, with signs it will only co ntinue to rise. This new upgrade with Hilton would give us the opportunity to book anywhere at any time with near certain availability. Unfortunately for us, we never had any luck booking on our own terms. Most of our stays have been through marketing offers where we are forced to sit through hours of high pressure sales metings with the expectation to spend an endless amount of money. There were many more lies but the main point is that the staff went out of their way to lie to us and trap us into signing another contract that cost more money and even higher maintenance fees.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

This is the absolute worst timeshare you could ever invest in. They’ll lie, and make a bunch of false promises to get you to purchase then bill you for every bogus fee they can create on top of the maintenance fee. The worst thing about this timeshare is the fact that they are knowingly selling timeshare that are barely worth 10% of the purchase price. This should be against the law. They need to be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

The Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare approach is that everyone should use their precious vacation time to relax, enjoy time together, and create family memories. I was sold on this idea. I loved that thought. I needed this for me and my children! Fast forward 5 years…we still have not been able to use the program, have experienced zero rewards, and still owe thousands of dollars for something we have never and most likely never get to use. The monthly cost and annual maintenance fees alone have prevented me from even attempting to book a vacation. Shame on Hilton for their high-pressure sales tactics, lies, intentionally leaving out key information, and their “same day” decision making policy. Timeshare is not for everyone. And certainly not for me.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I wanted to share my experience of buying and trying to book the marketing promo Hilton Grand Vacations are running ($249 for 3 nights). I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member who they asked if I would listen to a "deal" they have for me. I did and purchased after the HGV rep stated I would received a 3-night/4-day One BR Suite. I asked many times if it was a suite or hotel room, he said suite. A few hours later I called to book the suite and was told, it was a room only, but they did say "sometimes" a HGV rep will put in the notes that a Suite is allowed. I then called the main HGV number and a lady said she would add to the notes that a Suite is allowed. However, after putting me on hold, she hung up on me! I called back again and the next person I talked to said they could not do it! I then requested a refund which is now in process. This probably worked because it was all done within the same day.
I am a fairly high net worth individual and was prepared to listen to the HGV 2-hour vacation package on my trip and tell my other peers about this, BUT only if this went well...which it didn't. I had to make 4 calls to try and book the package and it didn't work so now I go the other way and tell everyone to steer clear. I know Hilton is trying to get ramp up this side of their business, but will fail if the customer support can't get this right.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I called yesterday to book 5 nights in Cabu Azul in May, was told the entire month was unavailable. Thought that was unusual but with Covid what has been normal isn't always now. So booked my trip for April and had to get a blocked view room as I was told thats all they had. Imagine my surprise when I then went on Expedia and saw there were rooms available in May with an ocean view! And the kicker is it was cheaper through Expedia than the maintenance fees I pay. But even at that I would have been ok with the price difference but to tell a long time owner there are no rooms available, yet they are available to rent is unacceptable. I would get rid of the timeshare but you can't even give them away they are so worthless. Buyer beware,
