Greedy scam artists, liars, manipulators, these are just a few of the nicer terms that come to mind when I think about this company. When a Diamond rep approached me and offered a $50 gift card "for an hour of my time", I should have walked away. It would have saved me a lot of frustration. Instead, I was tricked in to buying a timeshare. I was sold a small sample package, then was conned into a full ownership a couple years later. The promise of Disney vacations, no more maintenance fees, a guaranteed return on investment, and the ability to sell unused points sucked me in. Too bad NONE of it is true. Any time I try to speak to someone about ANY issues I've experienced, the answer I get is "you must have misunderstood" or "if you buy more, you'll get all those things". Nothing but deception all throughout my ownership! I just want to be done with them!!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Lies! Lies! Lies! We have reached out to Diamond Management over and over and because the salesman did not write everything they said into our contract there is nothing they can do. We were promised 1000's of places we could go but in reality there is only a few run down places available. Our "dream" vacation was a nightmare. The bell hops stole my medication out of my suitcase. Its the only time my suitcase was out of my sight. I spent the entire trip in pain. I notified Diamond and was told there was nothing they could do.
We paid extra so we could access Hilton properties beginning in April. It's the end of July and I still can't reserve with them.
I did some checking and I could have reserved my trip to Florida through ********** for hundreds less than I pay in maintenance fees every year! All these properties that Diamond says have no availability can still be booked through places like **********. Basically my maintenance fees pay so the average Joe can have a cheaper vacation than me!
I have contacted the people that deal with complaints and am repeatedly told there is nothing they can do about it. I am paying every month for lies!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

We've been owners for several years. One year ago, I would've provided a 4 or 5 star review but this past February we got railroaded in Las Vegas by high-pressure sales members who were very misleading and deceitful in stating that we HAD TO BUY SOMETHING that day to enjoy HGV-Maxx program ... so despite our petition that we have an expensive year ahead with our youngest daughter's wedding, they didn't care. Sucked us out of $1695 to get into HGV Max only to learn it was a lie! Extremely betrayed and disappointed. May consider legal action. Sad that we were enjoying HGV until then.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I'm not sure when Hilton started considering themselves the mafia but when they threaten me over the phone and sound thuggish, then I think it's time to lodge a formal complaint. I called Hilton back at their request and the rep on the phone asked for payment. I said I wouldn't pay because I have complaints that have NEVER been addressed. He then told me, loudly, aggressively "IF you wanted to cancel the timeshare then you should have read the instructions to do so back then". I didn't even mention I wanted to cancel (which I do) but the guy got aggressive. I have complained to Hilton about him (no name, of course) but have since (and again) been ignored by them. So far, the only person Hilton has sent my way even after complaining was a low-level, collections lackey. Very unprofessional. Stay away. They are life ruiners. Just do a simple ****** search Hilton didn't even want to give their name to this company but it is so bad...but money talks and all they care about is money.

I agreed to one of these vacations and they had the AUDACITY to put me in a hotel I would not stay in for free. There are WATERBUGS crawling all over the balcony , the hotel is filthy , it's smells like pot and sewer , there is no WIFI, the neighborhood is NOT SAFE . It's a nightmare. No one at Hilton vacation club or Hilton honors would help me to get out of this hotel and since we drove 12 hours we had no choice but to stay until the morning. Never stay at the HILTON HOMEWOOD SUITES IN MYRTLE BEACH. It's APPAULING .Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Right before Covid happened we visited Cabo azul mexico and got trapped in one of the biggest investment mistake of our life times
We were told we can come back to Cabo azul and stay during the next 2 years
Well Covid happened..it took us 4-5 months to find out what will happened to our DRI sampler package deal.. finally they said they can extend for 1 more year.
Of course Cabo azul was never available for us to stay
We picked Maui. Kanapali beach resort.
We had to sit another mandatory 2,5 hrs of marketing pitch. The hotel was okay
We had 2 more trips left
We were told we had to pay another $450 to use our points that will be expiring even though we have been told no rooms available in Mexico or hawaii. They told me Las Vegas or Sedona is wide open
I told them these were not the places I purchased this package for
Finally paid the $450 and reserved 2 separate 5 days 4 night trips to Maui
This time they put us on the Royal lahaina hotel where room is so small. We have our daughter and granddaughter with us. This place doesn't even have a sink to brush your teeth. It is in the open area away from the bathroom
We sat through another 2,5 hrs of marketing pitch at the kanapali resort
We told them all of our disappointments. They said yes sampler package was a bad promotion !!!!! Hilton now owns DRI and we took the sampler package out from the service. The problem is we the innocent people got screwed big time and we are stuck. !! We have 1 more trip in October and we will be done with this horrible program
We will never ever sucked into something like this ever again.
Once we told the sales lady that we are not here to purchase. She got pissy
Now we have to sit another 2,5 hrs of this pitch in October. But at least we will be done and do not want to see anything with them.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

1 starIn September of 2016 I signed up for an HGV timeshare Orlando, FL. Unfortunately just past a year later I discovered all the things the original sales person told me were not true. I was told in order to meet my expectations I had to invest more money and the sales person couldn't have me the what I was entitled to on the original sale. That was insulting because I had a witness and notes from the original meeting.
Based on I have tried numerous ways of parting with this financial Albatross. First I paid of the timeshare. I am never late on any maintenance fees. I have never used this timeshare. I even requested they resale or allow me to deed it back at a total loss to me.
I am still trying to get rid of this awful contract. Here we are July 19, 2022 when I received a letter from a Ms. Grace ******** (Client Relations Manager) saying the will not cancel the contract. Of course, out of respect, the phone and contact information at the bottom doesn't allow me to talk to this person for a possible resolution. I stay at the Hilton hotel when I travel. I love the service. Do not, do not purchase a HGV timeshare. It is a financial sink hole.

Hilton Grand Vacations was not only aggressive but also wasn't transparent. I just wanted to inquire with Doubletree Irvine to see if a reservation could be cancelled. My question was answered, then I got transferred to Hilton Grand Vacations. I thought of hanging up right then and there but didn't and am now regretting it. I was told about a vacation package that had to be taken. Even after expressing no intentions of traveling within the next year, and that I had plans to change the card I use for payments so no sense sell me something, I was still asked for my card information. Even after asking multiple times if refunds could be done the salesperson did not answer my question. I then get a email about how this is not refundable and there is a timeshare presentation, which I had no clue of until seeing the email. And worst of all is that I got charged. What baffles me even more is that a lot of other people also have problems with Hilton Grand Vacations. I hope they improve in respect and transparency. I want my money back.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Keep your distance from Hilton Grand Vacations timeshares. Our troubles with HGV started in April 2017 while on vacation in Orlando. We were somehow coerced into attending a sales presentation and after an exhausting day of high-pressure sales we finally purchased some points. In December they insisted we attend an owner meeting where we met a sales representative who somehow convinced us to upgrade our points by misrepresenting several benefits. Please don't fall for their dishonest sales trap. They basically lied about timeshare ownership advantages. They stated we were purchasing real estate and had partial ownership of the resort. This is lie! We were told our daughter would be able to receive the TS if we pass away. What they really mean is she will be responsible for taking over our financial burden. They insisted we convert our Hilton Grand Vacation points to the Hilton Honors Points. They never explained that you need an absurdly large number of Honor Points to stay at any Hilton properties. In some cases, the points that you need to stay were more expensive than paying out of pocket. Hilton's sales people never divulged any of the true costs with our TS, including the increasing yearly maintenance fees. We learned the hard way this was a money pit and a racket. Stay away from Hilton Grand Vacation properties.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

We unfortunately own a timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacation Club because of the lies we were told about it. We have recently tried to take some sort of action to get out of it by sending a letter to them hoping for some type of help. All we received was a very canned response from the Portfolio Services Department (unsigned). In our letter we explained to them that a lot of information was left out. In the response we received from them, they said, "We have reviewed all the documents and disclosures provided to you at the time of sale" which is not true. Karen Black, who assisted us in the process and showed us where to sign, claimed we were NOT allowed to cancel our timeshare after signing the papers. In our contract it states, "The purchaser of a timeshare may cancel, by written notice, the contract sale until midnight of the 5th calendar day following the date of execution of the contract." Another thing the Portfolio Services Department stated was, "At no point do we pressure or force prospective purchasers to stay at the sales presentation as they are free to leave the presentation at any point." Trying to contradict our experiences with their salespeople is beyond unprofessional and unethical. Hilton is knowingly scamming people, including us!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
