SHAME ON DIAMOND RESORTS! Diamond Resorts (now Hilton Grand Vacations) took advantage of a retired senior that was previously employed by the US government. We had been loyal customers since 2006, but Diamond took advantage of our trusting nature and sold us a worthless upgrade less than a year ago. I cannot explain the math formula they used but it showed us that we could save $42,000 and would never pay for maintenance fees again. Our sales representatives offered to assist us with refinancing the extremely high interest loan, but we never could get in contact with them after signing the documents.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

1 starOur party occupied two separate rooms, each 2 bed 2 bath. During our 9 day stay, we experienced 2 toilet back up and over flows and mold in each room. Once we demanded to move rooms, since they didn't want to move us, we the. We're put into what seemed to be a nicer room. We then found hundreds of ants in our kitchen and in our food, in which the hotel did and does not want to accommodate us in any way, even though we are stuck here due to hurricane Nicole. Overall, our friends and family who stay here often, will NEVER be here again. The customer service is horrendous as well as the quality of the rooms.Review fromAlfred W

As a disabled military Veteran I was looking for a way to save money while visiting my daughter. They live in Maine and my wife and I live in Texas. We received an invite to stay in Myrtle Beach at Hilton resorts as long as we listened to their pitch. It sounded really really good. In our eyes meeting the kids halfway almost exactly between us was great. As a double amputee in a wheel chair it is almost impossible to fly. We even paid for them to fly there. 13000.00. That is what we paid up front. We could almost live with that just because of conveniance sake. Seeing the kids and our grandson at least once a year. At the current rate the interest alone will have us paying back about 24 thou at minimum payments. Here's the kicker. We just received our first bill due on January 1st. The amount wich contains fees and charges for the year are 1627.71. Now... I don't know about you but pretty sure it would cover a weekly stay once a year with just that. We paid 13000.00 up front. For what? Since they feel they don't need to contact us we shall share this with anyone that wants to know. If you want a copy of my contract I will send one out. Not a good way to describe a company. I want my money back. I will pay any amount charged to the card including the hotel stay last month that didn't get any points off. Do not get involved with this company. I will continue to share on every platform I can find.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

They are not fully transparent with what they are selling. After telling them that I was going to be in New York for a conference, they sold me this. Then I'm told I can't use it if my wife isn't there and if she isn't there I have to pay the full rates plus a premium fee or something like that. I would run from this as quick as you can unless you know everything you are getting into. It sounds like a great deal and it may be but their sales staff is not fully transparent.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I had bought a vacation package for Waikoloa Village as I was "promised" by the agent that I can book any month that we desire. I started calling to book a vacation and the first agent who helped said that 12/24/22 is a busy week which is understandable. She suggested the week prior as it is a better option. So i told her that I will just arrange a flight and will call back. I called back after 2 days and by this time, another agent told me that there are available rooms but no one is available to do the presentation for us and to keep calling as something might pop up in the future, REALLY??? I called 3 x after that but I continue to get same response. The last agent I spoke with today even told me that Hawaii is expensive and so its hard to book. If that's the case, why will you encourage and promise people that its open any month?? If the issue is availability of staff to give presentation, I don't think that's my problem. I really want to just get my deposit back. I am not going to wait to book as I feel like you will never be able to book any rooms for whatever reasons the company has! I need help refunding my deposit. I can use it when we travel to Hawaii next month as I just booked the hotel on my own in Hilton website.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

The biggest issue we have had with this company from the day we purchased is the constant, unrelenting pressure to upgrade. From the minute we book a stay, the texts start coming. They harass and harass despite being told by us that we are not going to upgrade (ever) so have no need to attend a sales presentation. Not only are we not going to upgrade, but also - we are vacationing, The last thing we want to do is sit in a sales presentation. We are busy! Then when you check in you start getting harassed in person every time you hit the lobby, coming or going - they will practically chase you out the door or to the elevator saying "It's just an hour!" They treat their owners with absolutely no respect. Just leave us alone and let us enjoy our stay already! Obnoxious!!! We have complained about this harassment to no avail. Quite frankly I'm so sick of this I want out of the program but of course they lie about that when you purchase, telling you that you can sell back to them any time. HA! Good luck with that. It's a lie.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I wish I would have read on here before being ripped off and scammed . I was promised things and I told them I can't afford this . I am a widow raising 4 grandkids. They said we can make this affordable and no worries no maintenance fees for a year. I already owe fees and have no points till next year . Was told can start using by mid October by Sharon h but when I try it says u have to pay to borrow points from next year and u don't have enough points for any stay but there is a fee to borrow. I wrote and asked her and she said I was a liar and she will block me. Very dishonest people in Vegas . They tell u well u signed so too bad. I was there 5 hrs and missed a bday dinner so was in a hurry to leave and believed them. Now it's too bad u signed.. so disappointed with HiltonHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

HILTON EMPLOYS DISHONEST SALESPEOPLE!!! Yes, they really do. People who own a timeshare with Hilton know exactly what I am talking about. They verbally sell you on an incredible idea of a timeshare. They tell you all the things you want to hear. They will keep you in the sales meeting for HOURS so they can convince you to sign. Once you agree to sign, they speed through the signing because the contract is NOTHING like what they were telling you about. It is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting how they scam people out of their hard-earned money. Their seriously need to reconsider how they treat their customers, especially when they are paying the company so much money.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

1 starWe had purchased a Monarch Time share when we were in ****** under false pretense that they were building a Hawaiian location. Long story short: no Hawaiian location, Monarch purchased by Diamond resorts and Diamond purchased by ******. One location that was under Monarch plan was Cancun Resorts, ********* three miles *************. No parking on strip so one needs to depend on $60 per day on either Uber or Taxi. Once you refuse to upgrade, service is non existent. The problem is you just want to use your time share they get upset with you and treat the owner of the time share with disdain. Want to buy a time share ???Review fromRobert L

Diamond/Hilton just might be the worst company we have EVER dealt with. The presentations are designed to be a hostage situation where the sales staff tricks and traps you into buying something you never wanted. You are told what they think you want to hear, regardless of the truth to get you to commit. You are offered enticements which wind up being unattainable. We were offered a free week vacation at the destination of our choice, but after you chase that offer for countless number of attempts, you find that the benefits don't exist. Long periods of time are spent accenting the benefits as they mask the real cost. We end up paying about twice the price we expected by the time this nightmare is over. We wish we knew that at the time, we have never agreed to buy. The worst part is all this money is going to waste since we can never find reservations. We're just throwing our hard-earned money down the drain.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
