Be VERY careful when doing business with this company. I thought since Hilton is a big name, they could be trusted but I was wrong. After being harassed by FIVE different staff members and being lied to for hours, my husband and I bought a timeshare. This may have been the biggest mistake we have ever made. Nothing I was told came true. I was sold on the ability to sell/rent our points and the fact that we were investing in a property that we'd OWN. All lies. I can't even make reservations because the availability of resorts is awful. Paying over $7,500/year for something completely unusable smells like a fraud to me! These salespeople are shady and greedy!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I have been on the run around all morning trying to get someone to release a hold on my credit card. Even though they have already charged me for my stay, they still have a hold on my credit card which has been causing me a HUGE inconvenience to my livelihood. I will be leaving a review everywhere so that people know to be prepared for them to hold onto their money for as long as possible. Very frustrated and upset right now.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

On 10/19/2022 Hilton Grand Vacations sold me a package based on a Las Vegas trip after a sales pitch from them during a call to Hawaiian Airlines. I purchased the trip based on the sales rep meeting the dates on a trip I was already planning to take. During the call the salesman was pleasant and he was accommodating. He confirmed that he was able to get a hold and placed the reservation for the exact dates I was looking to already be in Las Vegas. I had told him during the call that I would NOT be purchasing a package unless it were to meet those exact dates. He confirmed back to me the dates, all the information was correct so I went ahead and booked it. Perfect right, save some money at the expense of going to a seminar is fine for me, I can spare the few hours. I received my booking emails not long after and saw the dates were scheduled incorrectly. I called their customer service line to correct the mistake. The customer service team told me the dates had not been "released" into their inventory and that these dates were unavailable. They told me I could try and call back within 30 days to see if these days would become available. I asked her if I was not able to make these dates work, would they be able to offer as refund as this was the ONLY reason I had agreed to purchase the package. The agent said that they would not be willing to make a refund just because the dates I wanted were not available. She said the salesman had made a "MISTAKE" booking my dates and assured me I would be able to make my reservation for those dates. I asked to speak with a manager. Customer service instead she sent a "chat". After a 30 minute argument, I finally received confirmation from the manager that my package could be cancelled., But only because I had called within 24 hours of my booking. The agent said if I had called later, they wouldn't have. They will not refund if the sales representatives lie to you on a sales call. I will not do business with this company.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

On 8/14/22 I purchased a 3night stay in Myrtle and was told I could access online information and book dates as needed. When I went on line to setup an account it advised me there was already an account for my name and confirmation number. I tried logging in by forgetting password and it states password will be sent to email on file in which I never received and no it wasn't in spam. I also received an email to book my vacation and names as listed on email were NOT mine. After calls on 8/22, 8/30, 9/9, 9/14, and 9/27/22 from salesmen to check into this they always said they will talk to manager to get resolved. I asked for IT assistance and this still hasn't been resolved. I don't want to do business with HGV and requested a refund in which I have yet to receive. Very disappointed, Lou AHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

If you are thinking about doing business with Hilton don't. It will. That is as plain as I can put it. We have sent them correspondence and they refuse to offer any kind of solution to our issues. I sent a letter in mid July and in response ( more than a month later ) they gave me homework.. they asked for statement. I took time to write and sent it to them. They sent me a form letter saying basically that they felt bad but there was nothing they could do. This an actual line that they put on paper: "At no point do we pressure..." Well, even if you are a timeshare owner or not. Even if you are happy with your timeshare or not -You KNOW that this is a lie... And the lies keep mounting.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Hilton/Diamond Resorts can't be trusted! In the past 4 years, the Diamond Resorts sales staff have consistently lied and preyed upon me to the tune of over $400,000 in debt within a period of 3 years. It doesn't matter which resort you book; you are always required to have the "update" meeting. I have had to come out of retirement and am working 80-96 hours per week at age 69 to pay the onerous debt and many thousands of dollars of maintenance fees. When am I able to vacation? My hands are failing, I've had surgeries on each hand and an amputated finger. Not sure how much longer I can keep this up.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I wrote to Mark Wang, CEO, early September and my letter was passed down the line to a senior vice president's secretary then onto Customer Relations who said " we want to make you happy". I emailed her and told her I wanted to be back where I was before Diamond entered my life - cancel the contract and refund my money. She said she would have to send it up the ladder, where I started. That was three weeks ago and the only response I've had has been many calls hounding me from the Collections department. A couple emails from Collections, all bright and cheery asking me to call, but Diamond/HGV doesn't like to put much in writing. I requested with every interaction to respond by email but every person has refused. No "Club Counselor" or anyone with decision-power has been "in touch", only the Collections department.Review fromKarl B

I can't honestly give Hilton Grand Vacations or the Hilton brand even a one star rating! It should be -10! We have been duped and are out thousands of dollars. We purchased into the Hilton "brand" through Diamond Resorts in Maui in April 2022. We were given all the "talk", nothing but blatant lies about how we were purchasing usage at just the right time to have access to all the Hilton properties. It was all fraudulent!! Today, (10-14-2022) we met for our so called "owner orientation". A meeting that was supposed to assist us in how to use our points. Nope!! It was a timeshare sales pitch lasting 5 hours!! We were told what we purchased for $18K was pretty much worthless. And, we were still obligated to pay the $900+ annual fee, which will rise substantially every year due to owning a Diamond Resort property. We were, to say the least, extremely upset! The sales team presented to us that we would need to spend $13K more to have access to any of the Hilton properties/perks. They said our previous purchase was just a "teaser"! HILTON IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST OF THE WORST TIMESHARE NIGHTMARE!! We are exploring legal action. Our hope is for an investigation into HGV's fraudulent practices and that it will ensue legal action to protect non-suspecting citizens of their underhanded sales and marketing tactics.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Diamond and now Hilton have been a thorn in my side for years. After 11 upgrades and nearly $200,000, I am done with them! It's all been pipe dreams, manipulation, and frustration! On top of the massive amount of money they have ALREADY pulled out of me, I'm expected to pay maintenance fees that have consistently gone up. The free access to Disney that was offered never came to be, which was a huge factor in spending so much money. When Hilton took over, I was promised the world again, but just like before, I was let down. Having to make reservations 14 months in advance isn't reasonable. Even trying 6-10 months early, it's nearly impossible to get a vacation I actually want. I should have seen it coming since I was told not to ask any questions while signing the contract.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

HGV marketing engages in the classic bait & switch tactic. I was sold a $220 2night/3day package for the Ocean Oak HGV resort on Hilton Head Island, of course requiring the 2 hours on property sales pitch. I was told book this month for a future stay in next 13 months and get a bonus 10K Hilton Honor points. Final point, they made was booking the ocean resort during "high season" April to August had an upgrade fee of $180. I called to book my 2 nights for March and was told to stay at the Ocean Oak (where the sales pitch was to take place) was an additional "upgrade" charge of $366.60. No waivers were available. For the $220, they could only book me in a local hotel NOT on the ocean. This was all very different than what I was told when I signed up for the package. Bait & switch is a form of fraud that HGV seems willing to practice. I recommend stay away from this company.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
