After booking a room at a Hilton hotel I was transferred to someone to give me 5,000 honors points for listening to a sales pitch. I listened and then was told I could also get two nights in FL, Nv, or NY for the price of one night, plus cash to spend, and 5,000 more points. I tend to be very skeptical so I pressed the guy several times before committing, clearly asking, is there anything else I need to do if I accept this deal, and each time he assured me, no, there was nothing else. I learned a few months later after booking the two nights that I was required to spend two hours listening to a time share presentation and tour. Such deception. We listened to the sales pitch and we left feeling like they were selling the emperor's new clothes...what exactly are they selling? Nothing tangible that I could tell. I would urge caution to anyone tempted to buy into this program. If they have to lie and deceive to get you to sit down and listen to the sales pitch then what is to stop them from lying about everything?Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Hilton has no availability when booking for their members. They have been charging me for something I can't use. They take money from us and don't let us book, so we are essentially paying for nothing. Hilton has been nothing but dishonest just to get my money. I am highly disappointed with the way Hilton runs their business. It is disgusting and straight fraud. Our decision to purchase a timeshare with them was made on dishonest information that came straight from the salespeople at Hilton. We are fed up with the games they have been playing. They are avoiding us because they cant even answer our letter we had sent on June 16. Do better Hilton!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

For people who own a timeshare with Diamond/Hilton Grand Vacations, is this also happening to you? They force you into attending meetings that they claim are mandatory, and then gaslight you about what you have been told at your previous meetings. They claim that you are saving money, but in reality, you are in so much debt because of these awful purchases. They never told you that your maintenance fees would skyrocket on an annual basis, and they certainly never told you that your children would inherit this colossal debt after your passing. Did I get it right? Because that is what is happening to us. Diamond has been blowing my mind, and not in a good way. Diamond/Hilton, come to your senses and do the right thing, by cleaning up your act and cancel our ownership!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Hilton Grand Vacations is actively engaged in taking advantage of young families by presenting the repeatedly repositioning the "dream" as just out of reach. Out of reach financially and literally because what they sell simply doesn't exist as described. They talk about investing in your family, investing in vacationing, access to Hilton Hotels and Resorts. The list goes on and on. In truth you are investing in nothing! You are stepping into a financial landmine, that will become your children's burden. Be careful, part of the sales practice is to assure you that whomever you are currently in front of knows more than the last person. If you think hard sell ends after you purchase, you are wrong, that is where it begins. We were literally preyed upon every time we have been in reach of a salesperson, usually lured by a seemingly well-intentioned resort employee. They claimed that there would be a resale market for the timeshare at any time we decided to leave; this was untrue as we have received notification from HGVC recently that our package is worth less than $3,000. Apparently large commissions are part of the "value" you pay for "investing". Do not buy into this program once, never mind twice. Their special math is deceiving, inflated and the experience is demoralizing. In hindsight this is a familiar pattern in Florida, South Carolina and Utah.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

After my stay at a Hilton Hotel In April i was called by Hilton and convined that if I gave them 225.65, I can pick one of 3 location in the US and stay for 3 nights 4 days. Well little did i know it was a time share and when I told them i may not have vacation time within the 6 months they extended it to 1 year. Well I dont want to be any part of this time share, I dont want to go to any of the places they have, and I dont have any money to even take a vacation now. Plus their website keeps making me updated my password. I wont be staying at Hilton anymore.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I wrote a letter to Hilton regarding my frustrations and hardships their company has put me through. I expected them to take the time to write a letter back to me, but they just ignored mm concerns. All I received was an email that was approximately 3-4 sentences long saying they are saddened to hear that I am unhappy with the purchase and asked when a good time is to call so they can help me learn how to use their program and enjoy my ownership. Unfortunately, I have gotten to the end of my patience with trying to figure out and use their program and I don't trust anything verbally they say, so a phone call is out of the question. I'd be willing to bet their idea of showing me how to use my timeshare is to buy more points! They completely ignore all my frustrations and my request to release me from this fraudulent contract. I am HIGHLY UPSET with Hilton. If you are thinking about purchasing a timeshare with Hilton, don'tHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Was finally able to get a response from Diamond on Sept. 1st. but they have the WORST customer service. They said I have 5 days to cancel, I told them, I did call within 5 days and to ask their salespeople. NOPE.... The Billions dollar company wants me to request all my phone records from my wireless carrier and then pass them on. Are you kidding me? Why don't you just check your sales phone records? This is ridiculous. They LIED, The Honus is on them to prove they didn't not ON ME to become the FBI and investigate phone records, this company is ridiculous. We were interested in the program but were not 100% sure it was worth it so they offered us this great VIP option to "try" the program. Lies and more lies!!! I would rather have caught the money on fire and made smores, would have enjoyed that more and been a better use of my money than throwing it away in the Hilton trash! Wish I would have read the reviews. If you are considering HGV DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I was tricked into a too good to be true deal from Hilton as an "honored, hilton member" . The sales rep offered me a 3-night stay in Carlsbad CA and have yet to receive my confirmation. Everytime I call, I am bounced around and never reach anyone. It is incredibly frustrating. DO NOT PURCHASE or fall into this fraud. STAY AWAY!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Let me first start off by saying, NEVER buy a vacation package from them, NEVER buy a timeshare from them, NEVER purchase any real estate from them. I purchases a vacation package over the phone from a sales rep from hilton that called me. $150 4 night 3 day sounds good.
2 weeks later I get an email that states that I could get an extra night if I travel before October 31 and it was clearly listed the following right on the email of a presentation. I was interested so I called in. They advised that the presentation is 2 hours long and its done at a specific hotel. Not the one I wanted to stay at which was the Las Palmeras.
I decline and state that I will go ahead and book without the extra night because I do not wanted to spend a moment of my vacation at a sales presentation. The Rep advises that I would have to go to the presentation anyways with my original booking. I was in shock. I had not been made aware of any such information prior to booking. I state how that should be clearly communicated when you receive payment under such conditions. I requested a call review from the sales rep from when I booked. Request sent and I waited to hear back, a week later I call back and another rep states that they don't do call reviews for SPECIFICALLY THE VACATION PACKAGES. I wonder why. I advised that I would like to speak with a supervisor, they put a request and literally TO THIS DAY have never received a call from anyone. I call again a couple days later and I explained my issue and the rep says we can cancel and refund the package. No, I didn't want that I wanted Hilton to be informed that their practices are probably already and continue to be an issue for consumers. I specifically state DO NOT CANCEL I just want my complaint heard and rectified. Another request goes in for a callback. As expected didn't get one. Week later I call again and the rep states that my package had been canceled and refunded... of course. I let them know that was never supposed to happen.
PART 2 of my hilton vaction nightmare. I let them know that was never supposed to happen. Please rebook my vacation at las palmeras 1 king bed for 10/6-10/10, the rep kindly offered a room upgrade for the error. Since I already have to do the presentation let me go ahead and take that extra night. I drop the issues prior because nobody cared. The rep states everything is good to go and I will be receiving additional information closer to the dates. Weeks later I called in because I wanted to know presentation details, they advised me that my presentation is scheduled 10/6 sometime in the morning... the day I arrive in Orlando. Seriously? Why the hell would you do that? So that when I "don't make my presentation" you can go ahead and charge me full price. Ha. The rep thankfully realizes how ridiculous that is and said she would requested for that to be change to the next day. I called sometime later to confirm all is well, per usual, it was not. They had booked my reservation at Hilton Orlando in a double bedroom for my partner and I. What the heck? Of course now everything is booked across all their hotels, you don't get that room upgrade, and they will submit that request for a supervisor that has NEVER EVER been accepted. I've already booked flights a while ago, unfortunately, but I urge you that the savings do not compare to the headache you will get just to go on vacation. Pay the price elsewhere, NOT AT ANY HILTON LOCATION for peace and a seamless experience. There may be a part 3 once I arrive at the location if their service is anything like what it has been. I am at my wit's end with them. I look forward to not purchasing their awful timeshares during presentation time and providing the countless reason that I have included and didn't as to why.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
