  The Safe and Sound Roofing tried to profit with a referral fee without my knowledge and without any invoice and discussions with me at my expenses. Their goal was to make $1,000 profit (referral fee). S and S offered to refer the Lightning Company after completion of new roof I told them I would rather get A1 Lightning, so they did and summited me the proposal invoice without referral fee and required me to deposit $1,750. I did ... on Aug 15, 2022 (a check written to S and S) S and S quoted the total charge of A1 installations to be $3,500 where as it should be $2550 quoted by A1. Today the A1 Lightning crew showed up with an invoice of $2,550 without any evidence of the deposit of $1,750!!! So S and S kept the deposit out of greed! So S and S gave me the proposal of $3,500 without checking with the A1 Lightning!!! That's what I call, a sleazy cheating attempt. I called S and S and complained and asked them to call me back. They haven't. A1 Lightning Protection Services, Inc likewise felt that $3,500 was too much. So they challenged S and S ... A few minutes ago A1 called and said they made a deal with S and S - A1 reprimanded them (S+S ) for outrageous amount of deposit and that's overcharging ... The final result is that I should pay them $800 to S and S instead of $1,750. - In a long run and for a 5 star, this Safe and Sound Roofing DOES NOT DESERVE, NOT EVEN ONE STAR!

  Hello Mrs. ********, I'm sorry you were unable to get a hold of anyone to help you with this issue. That is unacceptable and I will look into this myself. I will also look into the referral fee that was charged to you. Typically we don't charge a referral fee we usually charge overhead and profit fee. These fees are set in place by law for general contractors to charge a percentage of the the total job for job management. I will look into all of this for you.   This company is very professional. The agents were a delight to work with and answered any questions we had. The workers came right on time and did not stop until the work was completed. My new roof looks wonderful. I would recommend Safe & Sound Roofing Company very highly.

  They did the work and cleaned up to my total satisfaction . The representative, Cindi ***** , did a follow up to be sure everything was done to my satisfaction .

  I recently had my roof replaced by Safe and Sound Roofing. Tim Schmidt was a big help in getting that taken care of. They completed the roof in one day and cleaned up well. I am satisfied with the service and professionalism of the company.

  This roofer started and finished a new roof on my property on Monday August 5th. They started around 7 AM and finished around 5PM. They did a fantastic job, they cleaned the property without leaving anything behind and were very professional in putting on a new roof. I would recommend this roofer to anyone interested in a new roof.

  I watched S&as complete a roof across.the street. Took pictures of process and sent them to a close friend in Michigan. He said they were doing it right. I contacted them to replace my roof. I rely on a company rep for communication. Their rep -James **** - did an exceptional job during the process. He explained the process, communicated with me always, ansewered my phone calls immediately or return them quickly.

  If you need work done on your roof, look no further than Safe & Sound Roofing. They provide quality services and wonderful people to deal with. Our rook inspector Jenn was awesome and explained everything to us throughout the process. General Manager Derek was outstanding and helped us work through issues with the insurance company as well as leading us through the process. I usually don't write reviews but in this case, I feel that anyone needing work done on their roof, or total roof replacement, should most definitely contact Derek and Safe & Sound Roofing
