      The company itself can be good, however the system is improperly trained on. High turnover rate, job isn't difficult, but expectations are too high for $11-13/hour. There's a lot of pressure on minute details and when incidents happen, they always seem to have to place the blame on the lowest seniority present. Unfortunately, the company does not believe in retaining their employees after an incident happens and instead of refreshing the employee's training, they terminate them. Other than that, I enjoyed being near planes.

      I flew Southern Airways on 12/26 and received my luggage back severely damaged. After filing a claim, Southern claimed that the damage to my bag was normal wear and tear. My suitcase is 1 years old and didnt have a scratch prior to flying. I am very disappointed with the customer service that I received, as well as the ridiculous claim that this could be anything other than mishandled luggage. If you fly with them, please expect to receive your baggage back damaged.

      Worst airline on the planet. Southern is subsidized by the government. There is no accountability to no one. You will not leave on time with this airline.

      Terrible experience with them. Flight took us to an alternative excludes part of the airport where we had to Uber to the main airport making us hurry but when we tried to still check in we were all denied even though there was 50min to check in still. So making us wait in the check in area for 25 hours. Tried customer service and they just kept passing the blame on other airlines saying we need to contact them because it wasnt their issue. Still (politely) trying to see if there was a solution to the issue we were hung up on multiple times

      Absolutely horrifying experience all the way around! If you are ok with delays without notification after paying then book with them. Over an hour delay to and from my destination is unsatisfactory. No heads up or anything! It's not worth it trust me! This should be illegal and I will be reaching out to someone of higher authority!

      0 stars. This company is a scam. They will cancel every flight you book. Buyer beware and just book alternate travel arrangements. Won't give you 24 hour cancellation notice. Lucky if you get 12 hour notice of cancellation. Convinced they just cancel if they don't have enough passengers. No reasons for cancellation given. They may automatically reschedule you for a 6 hour ************** (for a 45 minute flight) that will arrive 7 hours later than originally planned causing you to miss connecting flights. Just do better. If the refund doesn't post I'm coming at you for more than the refund. I know these games you are playing you cheap fraudulent company. You are just finding loopholes to avoid lawsuits. No excuses. Just do better. You're taking advantage of populations that have no other choice but to travel through you...just a pathetic excuse of a company

      BE WARNED Nothing like being stuffed in an *** because the plane broke down. And at the same price of the flight. I get to be in a car crammed with people not a plane that would at least have seat dividers. Also my 55 min flight is almost a 3 hr drive. No compensation for cost when I could of gotten a gray hound for less than $30 dollars. I feel for the front line staff, they want to help but the managers keep them from doing anything. DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE IF YOU NEED TO GET SOMEWHERE ON TIME!!! Oh and the *** has a badly cracked front window. Something that would fail a vehicle if it was DOT reregister. Nothing about this experience has been positive. Getting an email at midnight about a delay for a 3pm flight that than kept getting delayed than cancelled. Management that was rude and in caring to the customer. I just have nothing good to say about this company!

      Worst customer service ever. My luggage was placed on a flight to ******** instead of ******* My flight to ****** was delayed so I missed my flight to STL and my dad had to drive 2 hours to come pick me up. At ****** I asked them to look for my luggage and let me know. I then called several times the next day and was told I would receive a call back when they found my luggage. I then heard that it was in ******** but it couldn't be put on the next flight back to ******* because it was too full. Later that day it finally got back to *******. I was told that it would come to ****** and STL the next day. So the next day I called before the flight from ****** to STL was supposed to leave, asking the whereabouts of my luggage. I was told I would get a call back (this is the second time they said this and never called me back). After the flight was supposed to get into STL I called again to confirm that the luggage made it and to go pick it up. I then spent 2 hours on the phone with a lady who ended up telling me nothing useful and eventually hanging up on me. During the end of this I had begun to drive to the airport because she said the bag was most likely in STL. When I got there, the ticket counter was closed (she also was unable to tell me the hours of the desk at STL). All in all, I missed a flight, they sent my bag to the wrong place, and the ****************** know nothing useful.

      Buyer beware southern airlines. 2nd time they have cancelled our flights on a holiday returning home. No shuttle, no rental cars, no rescheduling of flights, absolutely no solution or resolution provided. First time was no pilot available, this time weather related although they flew today same tempature outside. If they say it's weather related it's not there issue apparently. Well it's not ours either, they are refusing a refund or a credit as of now. The staff are just trained to say, I'm Sorry...ask for a manager and they refuse to get you one to speak to.

      Good morning ****************, I am sorry that you are not happy with our weather policy.  Southern Airways Express takes safety very seriously and we will not fly if the conditions are not good.  We value your life, all the other passengers, and the pilots.  Please understand that the weather may have looked fine where you were but the flight plan the weather was not good, understand that we have trained professionals that are always monitoring the weather, to keep everyone safe.  Your credit will be good for one year from the date of the cancellation.

      HORRIBLE!!!Booked a round trip ticket for my husband and I from ****** to hot springs. Left ****** an hour late, Southern cancelled our return ticket at 1:45am Sunday morning! The next flight was 2 days later, they said Staffing problems!! when we finally got back to ****** Sunday evening there were flights coming and going out of their terminal!!!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
