    they get you to book online for cheap and then they call you and tell you that that freight company doesn't take that kind of Freight but they have a different one that will for double the price. Horrible way to do business.

    Our experts are here to help you accurately complete your estimate after you provide the information on our web site.


    Our website provides an estimated rate based on distance, facility type, weight, and freight class. Not all carriers will transport all commodities.  This is the reason our experts contact you before charging you and requesting a pickup. Because your item is 16 feet long, the carrier you chose will not accept your shipment.Carriers will also charge an additional fee for oversized freight (over 8 feet).

    Horrible company that does bogus charges! Shipped an item on a pallet, all well delivered. 2 weeks later I wake up to a credit card charge for $210 with explanation "detention at destination". Apparently delivery driver sat there for an hour at the recipient after unloading picking his nose, but the office charged me the shipper as if it is my fault. Contacted Freightcenter with affidavit from recipient only to be told 2 weeks later that the shipping company does not agree and the charge is valid.

    On 12/06/22 Freight Center charges $ ****** for shipping my personal kitchen items 33 pieces and 2 bicycles and never shipped them. For 3 days were going in circles they couldnt get trucks. I finally requested a refund and told me they would take 20% off for cancellation but l never cancelled the service they were not able to provide for me the service l was charged. Then finally they told me to call ************* to get my things l told them to give me the money back so l can restart the process again. They wanted to keep my money and without fulfilling their obligations ************ is fraud. Im filling up police report and with BBB to get FULL refund. The carrier FreightCenter does business with is even worse, ***** Express they told me they showed up at 5 pm on the 12/06/22 and I was not there, but l stayed at the storage unit until 5 minutes past 6 pm that day, l was desperate to move out, my budget has gone, l need to drive up north for job interviews and FreightCenter cost me more money and pain frustration Amount due $ 737 Unsettled amount $ 0 Carrier ***** Express Pickup date 12/07/2022 Estimated transit time 3 day(s)Insurance terms and conditions Not accepted TMS terms and conditions Not accepted.

    We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your concerns with your recent shipment with us.
    FreightCenter is a 3rd party logistics company; therefore, we do not handle or transport freight;we simply connect the shipper to a carrier.
    As a Third-************************ FreightCenter requests a pickup from the freight carrier on the requested day. Unfortunately, they dont always make it to pick up on that requested day. When this happens, they will roll it over to the next day.
    We realize this can be frustrating. Please understand that LTL carriers are experiencing challenges meeting deadlines due to capacity issues and labor shortages.
    We looked into your shipment and see that you spoke with 2 different sales agents.  One on 12/6/22 and the other on 12/7/22.  After listening to the calls, it was discovered that both agents discussed packaging with you and explained that your plastic containers and bicycles needed to be secured to a pallet. Freight carriers will not take 33 loose pieces.
    The ******** Service agent and the ******** Service Director pointed you in the direction of using UPack, however,you would have to contact them directly as we do not have a contract to use them. UPack is a container that you could pack your containers into without them being on a pallet.
    Your shipment was cancelled on 12/9/22, and your credit card refunded at 80% per our cancellation policy.

    booked a shipment originally quoted around $900 then after a day or two it needed to be adjusted due to the truck " being too large for our commercial area" it was 30'. We get trucks over 50' daily no issues. chalked It up to inexperience. new quote was $1045. Told ***** the rep, I didn't have all the information needed and wanted to get back to him but he still pressured me into making payment to guarantee the quote. After getting more information and needing to update the trucking. my new quote was over $2,600. At this point I started looking at competitors pricing. I informed him around 36 hours later that I needed to cancel, THIS was when I was informed that theres a 20% cancellation fee. I was never informed on the recorded phone call or via email conversations. Disgusting sales tactics hiding behind hidden fees. But oh they said no cancellation fee if I keep the credit with them it's good for up to a year. Why on earth would I want to work with a company this dishonest and not forthcoming with pricing and fees/. Don't fall of the free quotes being affordable because when you finally pull the trigger they will more than double

    As we must follow the rules of the carriers that we work with,because the carrier stated that they needed to use a smaller truck to deliver to your location, they charge extra fees for that.
    After reviewing the communications between yourself and the sales agent, it seems that there was a miscommunication about how your shipment was packaged.  Because this information was not verified before your shipment was booked, we will refund your shipment at 100%.
    Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we are happy we were able to get it resolved.   Do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.
