  We signed a contact with them on November 15th, 2021. they asked for $5000 at signing the contract and another $5000 when we got the approval from the association. the project is to instal a pergola 20*11 with insulated roof, screen with doble door, concrete slab, electrical points etc. It's been a nightmare contacting them and hearing lies over and over.Today is January 24th 2023 and they have done NOTHING. Actually yes, they removed the pavers in the outside which made the situation much worse for us. We are a big family and always receiving family members, it's been impossible to use the patio area or to sit outside to watch the sunset. In addition to it we've wasted hours calling them and hearing their lies over and over.Please help, it's been 14 months. I need my money back so I can hire another company to restart the job.

  Since this complaint was filed much has been accomplished but the job is not completed yet. The old patio floor was removed the area was escavated and prepped for inspection. The city passed inspection and we finally poured the concrete floor. We followed up by standing the frame and calling for the next inspection which passed. Our next step is to install patio roof and screen walls that we expect to have completed by the first week of March

  I contracted ALUMA OUTDOOR DESIGNS to have a covered patio at my house in 2016 ALUMA OUTDOOR DESIGNS managed all permits and construction for the project.All the material and project was delivered as promised. However permit was never closed.This year, I put the house for sale. Little did I know that the permit was still open with the **********************. My first email to ALUMA OUTDOOR DESIGNS was on Oct 6th, 2022. They stated that they didnt know what the problem was or why the permit was never closed. At this time, I have a closing date on the property for Oct 31st 2022. I started to call them no less than three times a week. Every single time they assure that they were going to call me back with an answer to resolve the issue. Finally I contacted the City and they told they had failed all four inspections and that I needed to reopen the permit. I contacted ALUMA OUTDOOR DESIGNS with this information and they told me to sign a document for them to reopen the permit. They were going to reopen the permit and submit the engineer drawings signed by an structural engineer. They made it sound like an easy fix. Wrong.Oct 31st came along and I had to put on escrow **** for 45 days to fix the permit situation or I would lose that money.Called multiple times followed by multiple emails, still no resolution to the open permit. Today Dec 08, 2022, one week away from the deadline, still dont have an answer from ALUMA OUTDOOR DESIGNS.Tuition paid for ****** learnt: Dont pay them until the permit is closed.
