      If you want to keep your stress level low stay as far away as possible from COX internet..
      They lie about the speed you need, they lie about equipment you need. They lie about other companies quality of service. They charged me twice $25 fee after THEY REJECTED TWO PAYMENTS... They lied about the bank, blamed on the bank of mine. I've talk to my bank it's a LIE.
      Constant lying all the time in your face. Believe me you don't want this cr*p.
      I'm a very happy TMobile home internet costumer. Saving money, immediate consumer care.
      COX: the estimated waiting period between 30 to 60 minutes all the time...
      They don't give a dam about the consumers. Please read all the one star reviews. They are the real one.

      they are criminal.they think a bill of 50 with 30 off with 1 time fee $20,thats not explaind what its for,equals 50 whatever that was first bill.whatever cancled and no plan to alow the thievary.tried too call for answers and again lies of 24/7.because i couldnt reach a live agent.the worlds falling apart with ZEROaccountability.this was first bill and last

      We would like to thank the BBB for the opportunity to assist a valuable customer. Please let me begin with an apology for any inconvenience our customer may have experienced. It is certainly not our intention to cause any frustration.
      We have reached out to our customer to address their concerns; however, we were unable to provide an agreed upon resolution. The customer has declined to continue with his Cox Communications services and requested to have the service disconnected which has been completed as of July 31, 2023.
      It is always our goal to provide our customers with exemplary customer service. As a customer service-oriented company, we know that our success largely depends on our customers' perception of our employees, as well as our company. Once again, we would like to apologize for the frustration that the customer has experienced and deeply sorry we were unable to successfully resolve.
      We appreciate the opportunity that the BBB has given to us to assist our customer.

      I have been a customer for almost 7 years now and service has been great up until recently I have been having outages on and off for the last 2 weeks and now it's been put since Friday the 7th of July and I am writing this review on the 12th of July
      And the internet is still down and there have been no updates from the company about repair dates after multiple attempts for information over their live chat they did not notify for any maintenence that was scheduled every customer service representative has told me something different from the last as if they are told to make the information up as they go

      Just to read all these reviews makes me sick. Obviously nothing can be done to this so called “business” they put commercials out saying there is no hidden fee but when I go to check my bill every month there is a new charge for something! Don’t even try and call them over the weekend to discuss your bill because they are not available just able to take your payment. The rep pauline I spoke with was extremely rude, when asked to speak to the supervisor, oh what do you know no one is available over the weekend. I guess the employee run the show over the weekend and so they feel they can mistreat paying customers that make up their pay checks! I rather watch pain ole TV then to pay to be treated like crap!

      We want to thank the customer for taking the time to file her concern. In receipt of this complaint, Cox spoke with the customer on July 12, 2023. We reviewed her billing statement and educated her on why Cox was billing for over data usage and how to manage it. We encouraged her to return a rental device to offset a charge for unreturned equipment and we sent support documentation on how to use the Cox Wi-Fi app to pause and control access to her modem. We believe she is satisfied with our efforts to resolve this matter. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Should the customer have any further questions about this matter, we ask that they contact our Executive Escalations Specialist at the phone number provided to them (via voicemail).

      I would give a negative 10 if I could. Had trouble with TV service, their inept "troubleshooter" diagnosed a bad AVR receiver(!?). Problem was cable box. Now, after going through bait and switch issue for service pricing, find they charged a $75.00 deposit for equipment and said I authorized a credit check. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. Cox should be looked into by the BBB.

      THESE PEOPLE ARE ******* IM TRYING TO FIX BILLING AND SUPPORT BUT THE PIN NUMBER THEY HAVE AND SECURITY QUESTION ARE NOT MINE , AND THEY WONT GO FURTHER WITHOUT PIN NUMBER , BUT IF IM PAYING THEY ARE HAPPY TO HEP WTF... I WANT SOMEONNE FROM CORPORATE TO CONTACT ME . THEIR PHONE SYSTEM SUCKS

      If I could give a zero review, I would. I was sent a notification telling me that my bill has changed and to click on the link to access my account. I’ve never logged into Cox, I don’t have a username or password, so I chatted with Ricardo V. He told me my account number after I gave him my phone number, address and pin and name. I asked if he could tell me what changed with my account, I got no response…crickets! I downloaded the Cox app because I now have the account number. I went around and around in circles because I need to login with info I don’t have even the app is stupid! I’ll be canceling all of it, television has gone from FREE to being as expensive as a new car payment! Rediculous !

      If I could do negative stars I would. Terrible service. I decided to end my contract only 6 months early because I have no been receiving efficient internet. Alongside, speaking with multiple customer service representatives who were literally lying to me and one hung up on me. Another giving incorrect information. And when I initially signed up for Cox they gave me a $200 gift card and when I finally decided to use it they said it was “expired” and never fixed that problem. I was also told that we actually share internet with people and not our own line. Which explains why it’s so slow. I am VERY disappointed and would not recommend anyone choose Cox as a service provider.

      I have the whole conversations and I do not appreciate being disconnected on purpose. I could not get my service hooked up, I kept getting out of the country reps that couldn't understand and never got the service. I was charged and when I tried to contact someone I was disconnected and I have the proof on that.

      Our business is a current account holder of Cox Communications and have had the hardedst time with their services. The customer service has been atrocious and my accounts that I have listed with cox aren't even listed accurately. I've tried all my best avenues to discontinue service for internet with zero help or empathy for our companies changes and needs. In my recent phone transfer, it took almost a month to complete because they didn't finalize my order requests. Where does it end Cox? Our office pays handsomely for internet we'll never use and havent for over 6 months now and our accounts are all jacked up. We are a small business and these charges are out of hand.
