    On February 28,2022, I met with Michael Norwood of Boardwalk Generators in Pensacola, Fla. and decided to buy a Cummings Generator and have everything installed by his company. I gave him a deposit of $6600. He was supposed to get done right away. A couple months went by and I heard nothing from him. I called and he said he had an employee problem and he could not get generators due to supply not be readily available. I gave him more time. Then in July time, as Hurricane Season fast approaching, I kept calling him and he said he could not get Cummings Generator. It would be easy to get a Generac and he could get that done in 30 days. Then time passed again and I started calling and he would never return my call and people in his office kept saying he was out or not available. I talked to Victor, supposedly a manager, and all he could say was he would talk to Michael Norwood and get back. No one ever got back. In August, no one responding and I saw some scam reports on facebook on his company. I kept calling and texting his phone. He never replied. This month, September, 2022, I drove by his place of business. It was boarded up. I called the lease # on the building and the guy said that he just moved out of the business, stole his furniture and disappeared. He said he thought he filed bankruptcy. Needless, to say it is in the midst of hurricane season and I have no generator and am out $6600 and lots of time trying to get Michael Norwood. I have a list of all my texts. I am a senior and retired. Being out this amount of money is hard for me and I definitely worry about storms, loss of freezer and refrigerator foods that I have accumulated for the winter and storm times. If there is anything that can be done here, I would appreciate any effort toward this possibility. Thank you for your time and consideration *** ****** ******************

    I purchased a one year GENERAC, generator maintenance contract on 3/28/22 from Boardwalk Generators at a cost of $285. The agreement was for two maintenance visits in 2022, one in March and the other 6 months later in September. I received the initial maintenance visit but have been unable to reach Boardwalk by phone or e-mail to schedule the second pre-paid service visit. I would like the maintenance performed as agreed, to, or a refund of of $125 for the half of the service they did not complete.

    We ordered a commercial system July 2022 and paid a deposit of $13,000 on an $18,000 generator and install. I've been trying to reach the company for over a week. Their phones all go to a voicemail that is full , or a busy busy signal. Emails have gone unanswered. Very concerned. Tried to pay this on my company credit card but vendor refused and wanted a check. Michael Norwood was a gentleman we were dealing with. I'm hopeful that this can be resolved and our generator installed and maintained as promised.

    I contracted with this company to install a Generac whole home generator on March 17, 2022. At that time I provided a down payment of $6300. Since then BGS provided a litany of excuses for delays including difficulty with obtaining a permit from Santa Rosa County. I called them every 2 weeks to follow up and was always promised a call back which never happened. 3 weeks ago I contacted them and they said they had to order another part which should arrive within a week and then they would schedule the installation. Now there is no answer when I call them. It is my belief that BGS never intended to deliver or install the equipment. There is no evidence that they ever applied for a permit with Santa Rosa County. I want my money refunded.

    On 4/22/22 I placed a deposit on a generator to Boardwalk generators. This was for a 18KW generator. The install date was supposed to be 8-26-22. on 8-26-22 a concrete pad was installed on my property, but I am unsure who completed the project as I was not contacted after the pad was completed. I waited several weeks then contacted the business and talked to a scheduling secretary. She stated she saw nothing in her schedule about an install at my property. She stated she would schedule my "rough in" for Sept. 2nd. I contacted "Mike" who claimed to be the owner of Boardwalk generators and he stated he would have his foreman contact me on August 10th. I was never contacted. Sept 2nd came and went, and I still hadn't been contacted. I again contacted 'mike" via cellphone and he stated my install had been rescheduled to Sep. 16. Well, as you may have guessed by this point, Sept. 16 has now passed and no work has been completed. I have attempted to contact the supposed owner "mike" at his number 1 (850) 417-9828, but have been unsuccessful.

    I was the lucky one, I purchase my 24 KW Generac through Lowes, used my military discount and only had to pay for installation which was done April 16, 2022 by Boardwalk at a cost of $5380.00 successfully. June 18, 2022 My residence experience a thunderstorm lightning triggered electrical power surge the fried my whole house surge protection and 24 KW 200 AMP Generac Automatic Transfer switch (ATS). Boardwalk Generator Service, INC has just successfully installed by 24 KW generator and transfer switch April 16, 2022 without a flaw. BGS owner stated there would be no charge for the ATS swap out installation, give my pocket a break, but I would have to pay the manufacture full cost for the transfer switch. July 15, 2022 200-amp ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) $1374.93 paid to Boardwalk Generator Service, INC and was told 2-3 weeks this swap out would be done. I have contacted Boardwalk repeatedly and was told daily that they would be at my house the next day. Mid-August I called and talked again to Michael Norwood II, CEO & Owner, he stated you are schedule for Sept 13 but we will try to get it done sooner. Sept 13, has come and gone, no actions, phone call, actual work, nothing. The weather was zero rain Sept 13 & 14 so weather was not a delay. I suspect I am another victim (number 12) of this company fraud. No one has come yet. there are 9 Escambia County court cases against Michael Norwood and Boardwalk as of 15 Sept 2022.

    Gave Michael Norwood (Boardwalk Generator) a check for $6,600 on February 28, 2022 and signed an agreement for him to install a Cummins Generator. Kept having delays and excuses for not installing the generator. He came to the house and took my survey to see where propane tank should be installed in July, he had someone with him that he said would be overseeing the installation. I told him that I would be willing to take a Generac if he could not get the Cummins. He said if I would be willing to do that then he could have it installed within 30 days. Have not heard another word from him and have tried repeatedly to get in touch.

    In December of 2021 I gave a down payment of over $7,000 to order a generator. I was told it would be in sometime in June 2022. My husband and I have both tried multiple times to reach out since May 2022. We heard back once that our contract stated the generator would be in in September 2022. It's now the middle of September and no one will answer the phone or if they do they say the owner will call back and he never does.

    Company picked up my generator from ****s on Airport rd in Pensacola on 06/22/2022. They Rescheduled my install 3 times. They Never showed up for last scheduled time. I Can't reach company. I paid $7000 for generator with ****s Card. Company will not return calls, texts or emails. I will be filing fraud charges against the owner, Michael Norwood today. I was hoping to get resolution. I would just like to get my generator from their warehouse since I paid for it. However, I'm afraid it was probably installed in someone else's home.

    I entered into contract with Boardwalk on January 24, 2022. I paid $6,900.00 using my Discover card. I contacted Pensacola Energy, per Boardwalk's instruction, on 25 February and paid $690.00 to get natural gas service ran to my lot. Pensacola Energy ran into problems with the service line for my area and began corrective actions. I kept Boardwalk updated with phone calls, e-mail and visits to their office at that time (they later moved to current address). They did not return any correspondence and told me they were very busy when I visited. In my opinion, they gave me only lip service and indicated they were having numerous problems. They finally sent two different plumbing contractors to give estimates in July and August. They turned down both bids. They have yet to contact me. I have lost complete confidence in Boardwalk Generator Services!!
