New South windows sales team is phenomenal, management team is phenomenal, their customer service team is phenomenal, however the first install crew was not so phenomenal! But they made it right! I love my new windows, they stand behind their service and if something goes wrong they will do everything possible to correct it and fix it! And I have to say the inspector said it was one of the best caulk jobs he has ever seen.??

AGREE WITH EVERYTHING BELOW - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
    Contracted Sept 2021. $30,000.
    Install started April 2022.
Front door & Patio door were not the right size…….now mind you, these were measured TWICE before the order was place – and my front door – IS A STANDARD DOOR.
Along with being informed the doors would not be installed, the install guy noticed there was no trim, around my windows, for him to “caulk the new windows to”?
Two problems - I live in an HOA, external home changes, need to be approved PRIOR to the change. They wanted me to pay and additional $950 to replace hurricane peg/screws (I got screws and install done for $375.)
Aug 30, 2022, I passed inspection, somehow. However 1/3 of screws in frames were missing.
The front door lets in light around edges. The patio door currently has water dripping from the top frame after a good rain. One window won't go up all the way. They are coming to "fix" tomorrow, 4/17/23. We will see.
6 " screws were left dropped in my yard.
Lots of shaving/trim mess in my house.
Three piles of black caulk were left in my driveway, with a smashed tube left behind as evidence.
Shannon, my sales person, offered to seek reimbursement of my $375 & a professional cleaning, to try to "make it up to me". I received zero reimbursement. The cleaner - was a joke. Came without tools, had to use mine. Left three screens out, 2 because he couldn't get them in. Shannon broke a new planter of mine, by turning it upside down to stand on it. No confession of this. Just left.
I had MUCH more to say, but, the characters are limited here.
    But,
    1) I am an RN. If my work was this shoddy, I would be fired and likely sued. (I don't have the $$ or time for that.)
    2) I am concerned about the structural integrity of my home now. Did this to increase value and efficiency, not to decrease it.
I've told my neighbors and any co-workers NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY.

Customer service gets a zero!!!! Do not hire them!!! I believe my windows are good finally. I am not sure the installers ever installed a window, nor did caulking. After paying too much for these windows… cash, around $26,000+ for 14 windows. We had 19 windows to replace, but that was super expensive, so we changed some windows to picture windows (were doubles), and others, we chose windows that open to the side (like a sliding glass door) vs vertically opening windows to save money. During installation, I never saw any of the installers use a level to ensure the windows are installed level. Hence, no shims were used, either. Needless to say, 4 windows would not open easily enough for me to open them…. Safety issue. The entire reason I had new windows put in is because my old windows were too hard to open, but they were from the 90s. Well, 4 of the windows that were installed by new south were no better. I begged them to come out three times over a couple of month after the check cleared.. of course. Finally, I cussed them out… really badly, so they put the regional marketing agent on. She got the ball rolling. Although, they were supposed to replace a window stool that their installers damaged. They split the wood about 2’ long, and pulled one side of the stool so far from the wall that I could put my finger in the gap. I was promised that they would replace the broken stool. The guy who came out to replace it, came without the window stool or tan caulk to do the job. He wore me down and assured me that after his repair, it would look new. It doesn’t. Wood puddy shrinks and is not meant to go into that big of gaps. The caulking redo, was also done poorly. It looked better, but still messy. Bottom line is they have nothing to be “New South Proud” of!!!! I would never recommend them to anyone… even if I did not like the person asking! They suck!!!

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and we have worked with Ms* ***** to complete her project.
Installation took place on Oct 31, 2022. Ms. ***** called to relay she was not pleased with some of the caulking on her windows. NSW called in for an inspection to be completed on Nov 14th, 2022, and passed. NSW went to Ms. ******* home on Nov 15th to address the caulk, install interior trim pieces, and adjust two windows that Ms. ***** brought to our service technicians’ attention, we have signed service tickets showing completion.
Between Nov 15th 2022 and March 10th 2022we show no correspondence other than the vacation voucher that was mailed to Ms. ***** for the purchase of her windows.
Ms. ***** called our office on March 10th, 2023 stating her window sill needed replaced and some windows were hard to open. NSW sent an installer to Ms. ******* home on March 11th, 2023 to address her concerns and reset several windows during this visit per her request.
Ms. ***** called on April 6th, 2023 to follow up on a service to install trim pieces once the windows were reset and discuss hurricane shutters, which we do not offer hurricane shutter as a service.
Trim pieces are scheduled to be installed on May 1st, 2023 for the completion of Ms. ******* project.

I selected this company to install my windows and it has been closed to a year after installation with springs not being replaced in five of the eleven windows. No inspector has beento the house to inspect windows and the window caps are still laying around. They did not hesitate to start collecting payments for a job that was never completed. I don't want to ruin my credit so I have been paying it. I am not satisfied at all to say the least. I would not recommend this company to anyone, their customer service sucks. I am see what other avenues I can take regarding this rip off company.

The windows are great but the customer service is very below standard I would have to call and call, then got the run around, just resent I called to have my window fixed "it will not stay up without putting a stick on it. Waited for the service man, he looks at the window and tolded me he don't have the parts to fix it they will have to reschedule me. They make the window they have the measurements. Will iam just letting you know overall the windows are great good luck with the customer service, ******************
