    We hired Finest Fellas Moving and Storage to move us from *************************************** to ***************************************. Our estimate they provided us was $3629.45. Our estimate pick up time was 10/13-10/14. Hadn't heard from anyone toward end of day on 10/12 so called and talked to Katt who told me our pick up time was 8am-12p, on 10/14/24. No one showed all day. Called again and talked to someone in dispatch who had the driver call me and said he would be there 10/15/24 between 8am-12pm. I explained that was not acceptable as we had to be out of our home by midnight on 10/14/24 due to our closing was on 10/15/24. Called Katt back who said she worked out with her boss that the driver would be there at 9PM on 10/14/24. Driver text me at 7:50pm stating he would be there the next morning (10/15/24 between 7-9am. There was noone to reach out to at Finest Fellas Moving and Storage. We ended up having to move all of our belongings into the neighbors garage at 10PM on 10/14/24 (My husband and I are in our mid 50's and my husband is a disabled vet). Driver finally showed up at 1:30pm on 10/15/24 with no bill of lading and sent us a weigh bill later that was over ***** lbs when our estimate was for roughly 1827lbs. We received threatening text messages from the drivers wife stating they would be returning our belongings to where they picked them up if we didn't pay something even though Finest Fellas told us not to pay anything at time of pick up. Once we got settled in ******* and called for delivery we found out our property was in ******** (total opposite direction from ******** to *******) Once we did finally receive our property there was a missing brand new fully automatic espresso machine missing ($1600.00). Finest Fellas only offered us $500 for damages and the stolen item. Few items were also damaged during transit.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have attempted earlier on in this complaint to contact the Business per their response to an email address and received nothing back. Then the Business stated they resolved it with me and funds were returned, which did not happen. Now I have a generic phone number with no name to ask for. Played the run around with the Business prior to filing this complaint. Never heard from any manager etc. Only the ladies answering the phones.

    I scheduled a tentative move for February 27th 2025 on December 23rd 2024 due to health reasons (CHF) I cannot relocate at this time I Canceled the move Via email and phone January 27th 2025 they gave me my deposit back ******* and then 5 days later canceled it And now refuse to speak to me and I asked what they'd like me to do and was told to hang up the phone. Owners are not available to speak to and billing/accountant personnel are never available they refunded the deposit ******* then 5 days later canceled it they performed no work at all except for a phone call and to charge my credit card

    I hired finest fellows in November '24 to move me from ******* back to *****. Once they received my deposit, they could not be reachable by phone or email and no one would return my calls. I found out on day of move they outsourced other movers without disclosing, they didn't have my correct cell and almost canceled day of and then the other moving company ripped me off, lied to me and held my items hostage longer than we agreed upon and refused to bring me my items in a timely manner that we was contracted with finest fellas. The other company holding my items longer than we agreed upon affected my personal life. I did not have access to clothing medication or medical files I urgently needed for appointments back in *****. This affected my life dramatically on all levels, and my health is not well, and so it did not help other medical issues I was already dealing with. A box of items is missing. Both companies have not bothered to respond to countless emails and phone calls. They insist I file an insurance claim instead of just helping me find the missing items. One owner reached out apologizing, offered $500 and I've attached his text message showing that, but email and phone correspondence was lacking and no refund was actually followed through and my missing items have never been found. The owner insisted I remove my review before sending me the refunded money, Which I did not agree upon and he did not tell me, until after I signed a release that I had to take down my bad reviews first before receiving the refund, which I don't think is a good protocol. I think you should send me the refund, whether I take down the review or not. Maybe he needs to work on all the internal issues and lack of communication with the company, but be accountable for what they did wrong and try to resolve it. Instead of making people take down reviews that are valid. He also offered $100 to replace the missing items that he did not send that either.

    On December 24, 2024, I booked with Finest Fellas via a telephone transaction on my credit card - $500,00. I told ***** ********, one of the principals, who I made this transaction with, that this move was contingent upon the sale of my co-op and there was a chance my buyer may be denied. He said no problem and I could get a full refund. I have been trying to secure said refund for over a month now and there is always an excuse: accounting manager is out, send an email (which was never responded to) call back (no return call, only voice mail). I finally spoke to ***** yesterday who promised to get back to me and he never did. I just want my full refund and I will NEVER do business with this firm.

    I hired them based on their claims of being a family-owned, non-broker company that promised my belongings would be handled with care and delivered directly to me by finest fellas the same team that picked them up. Instead a completely different company, M&S Trucking and Storage, showed up to pick up my items. Then I was told by Kirra that my belongings would arrive within 3 to 15 business days, When I requested a refund of my deposit, I was flat out refused, despite never signing a contractonly a receipt and an inventory list! Kirra insisted I had signed a contract said shed send a copy! Kirra sent me someone else's contract, complete with their personal information, claiming it was an "accident." When I inquired about the whereabouts of my items, I was repeatedly told she was unaware of their location and it hadn't been assigned a driver, only to later find out they were in a storage facility in ******** and had been moved into several different trucks including a semi trailer with other peoples items. Then the Driver informed me they picked it up from a storage unit in *******! I was contacted by yet another companysaying they would be arriving between 2-5 (M&S power), when they did arrive at my home they attempted to blackmail me into paying a significantly higher fee than our original quote. They had no weight slips for my items, yet the quoted amount by finest fellas was $0.60 per pound. My belongings were shuffled around from one truck to another, into a storage facility, and finally delivered by yet another unassociated company that tried to drive off with my things if I didnt comply with their outrageous demands even AFTER they backed into my chain link fence with their truck! In the end, items which were not only late but arrived damaged, with several items missing and others that did not belong to me at all. This is unacceptable! I want a full refund and immediate accountability for this disaster

    I called the customer service line and they directed me to continue with The claims department and I might have to go back and forth with them several times and they still haven't received the documentation from the third party that was not supposed to be used in the first place and they'll have to wait for that from that company. And it might be a while before I can get any kind of a resolution because of the fact that they haven't gotten any of the paperwork. I would like a free refund for being lied to and my things being broken and them backing into my fence with their truck which we have on video and their weight slips will be incorrect due to the fact that they had a lot of plywood on the back of their truck so our things could not be accurately weighed. Which we do have pictures of as well. We would like a full refund.

    This is the video of them backing into my fence! And all the plywood they had in the back of Thier truck to adjust weight of my items on Thier form there was a bunch of other building materials in the back of the truck as well with my items. They can not charge me for the weight of my items if they do not have an accurate weight. Not to mention the people that delivered were not the people I hired to move my things and blackmailed me into paying them way above my quoted amount and tried to drive away with my things if I didn't agree to pay them. Reluctantly I finally stopped them and paid them when they were driving out of my driveway (I do have this conversation on video as well then admitting they had no weight slips and weren't supposed to have the items) I only paid it because all my military documents, kids and my birth certificates social security cards and my autistic sons medical records and sensory items and medicine was on that truck along with all Thier keepsakes and all our furniture. We didn't want it going to another undisclosed location with people we never gave permission for them to have it in the first place! Let me know if you want me to send any more documentation. This company is a scam, false advertising and a huge set up for families to be taken advantage of and hurt by. I have everything including Thier adds and the contract I signed that did not give anyone else permission to have my things. They tried to send me a different contract stating it was the same through DocuSign after my belongs we're already picked up to sign and I refused to sign it because it was completely different and I have that as well unsigned!

    Recently my house caught fire and the only two rooms spared were the basement and garage. I called Finest Fellas on Feb 28, 2025 to get a quote on moving some tools out of the garage and Christmas decorations and shelving from the basement. I spoke with ****** ******** and he said that there minimum weight for moving was 2000 pounds and that I wouldn't be at that weight but they would write it up at 2000. The charge was $1.20 per pound which equaled out to be $2400.00. I agreed to the terms and signed the contract. When the movers showed up, I could instantly tell that the main person, Axel was going to try and upsell and charge me more money. He said that with the additional items, basically 2 bikes, 3 extra boxes I forgot about, and an outdoor hammock that my price would now be over $6000.00!! So my weight apparently went from under 2000 pounds to over 5000 pounds!!?? I in no way even came close to doubling the weight estimate we originally discussed. I told them I could not afford that and asked them to leave. Then I called Finest Fellas two days later to make sure they cancelled the move and refunded my $840 and they told me I could not get a refund! This company is PURE SCAM! I demand a full refund of the amount paid as they did not fulfill there contract. Subsequently I have made 3 calls into the owner of Finest Fellas, ***** ******** and he is avoiding my phone calls and will not answer or call me back.

It is apparent that you have added additional items beyond what you told us when you received your quote, therefor the price goes up. It was not until we arrived that we became aware. We would have been able to move the items you contracted us for, for the price you agreed.

    To all prospective customers, our prices are based on the items you provide at the time of your estimate. If additional items are added, then obviously the price has to increase. If you choose to move the items only on the item list, you rate will NOT increase.

    This company is an absolute SCAM!!  They are trying to tell me that I more than doubled what I told them originally and that is not even close to being the truth!! What does a bike, 3 extra boxes and a hammock weigh?? They are trying to say that they would weigh over 2000 pounds! This company is out to prey on the misfortuned and take their money and not provide the service that they promised. I absolutely will not accept anything but a full refund to be satisfied.

    I called Finest Fellas Moving and Storage *** on February 14, 2025 for a quote on a move. I saw their advertisement on ********. The representative, *******, quoted me a price at $2631.00 to move from ******** ***** to ******************** for February 17, 2025. I paid $920.00 for a deposit. The movers arrived on 2/17, they provided a new total for $3420 for the move. I understood the price increase since I had more items than I originally listed and gave my consent to pay $3420 total. I signed the paperwork, paid $1250 for pick up, and was told to wait for a call on February 25th for delivery date and timeframe. The delivery date was not provided until 2/28 for 3/3. On March 3rd the scheduled delivery was not made. I never receive a call from Finest Fellas Moving. I attempted to call the company three times and left a voicemail.I have not received contact from the company and do not know where my items are and I do not know when they will be delivered. They have not attempted to contact or resolve the issue.

    I am in the middle of a cross-country move. l fielded many quotes, and eventually decided on Finest Fellas as they advertised themselves as a non-broker and promised me that they could deliver on February 23. They showed up a week prior to load up my stuff, only to discover that it was NOT finest fellas and it had been brokered out to some company that would only take payment in cash or money order (should have been my first red flag). Even though they were a bit higher in price, l decided on this company for 3 reasons. 1. They were NOT a broker 2. There were no additional fees to be tacked on for pickup/delivery 3. They guaranteed to have my furniture delivered 02/23. All 3 of these things turned out to be a lie. Straight to my face. l planned the entirety of my move through the promise that they would deliver 02/23. l now sit here in a ************. No chairs, no bed, no forks, no plates, nothing. And they still dont know where my stuff is, or when it will deliver. Every time l have called, l am usually met with sheer incompetence or being told another lie. This is easily the WORST experience with a business l have ever had.

He said that for a move of my distance, the window would be 3-15 days but that he could make it happen on 02/23 if he picked up on 02/17. I made that very clear, he said it would deliver then, and the phone call was recorded. 

    As of right now, the company can't/won't even tell me where my belongings are.

    I booked a move on 10/17/2024 to be delivered June 2025. I paid a deposit of $1,050. I signed a contract that states I can receive a full refund if I cancel my move outside of 7 business days. I called to cancel my move via phone in January 2025. I spoke to ***** who told me he cancelled my move and I will receive a refund in 5-7 days. I contacted them again to inquire about by refund and according to their customer service, my move was never cancelled. I cancelled again. I was then directed to email them asking for my refund. I emailed on 2/5/2025 and still have yet to receive a response. Ive been calling weekly since and cant get anyone on the phone. Its like they are purposely dodging me until I get to the nonrefundable window. Its almost March. I still have until June to technically cancel for a full refund. I want my $1,050 back.

I contacted them directly multiple times and still, nothing has been resolved. I emailed multiple different addresses given to me. Not one email response was received.     When I contacted finest fellas I spoke to *****, whom gave me an approximate quote and told me I had to put half down which was 1200 also allowed to bag any soft items. Movers arrived on ninth took to backyard to show all lawn furniture to take first they Boxed all of our linen  bags charged us did not take what we asked them to take including all my lawn furniture, triple the price almost ******************************************* broken theft of an air conditioner unit for the home. We have gone through an awful lot here my husband, a disabled Vet me a senior in which we went through seniors verse crime. Youre my last. Hope its in black and white. They owe us the money and theyve just been playing with us, Photos or texts I have if needed The Attorney General advised us because of our proof to take it to court, but to be truthful with you. I dont think either one of us can handle the anxiety, so please help us here.
