      We were only at the quoting portion and so far our experience has been rough. They first came out on a Saturday with the "wrong guy" (a gentleman who was unable to quote drain lines). Then the following Monday- they sent out another guy who then said it was a $39 fee which was never previously discussed. I've called the company for a refund and pending response. The customer service representatives are basically powerless. They are not allowed to escalate calls (i.e. if you ask for their supervisors, they can't provide one). They also cannot provide a direct phone number to a supervisor. The managers are all tied up at least per the customer service **** and should "call me back". They quoted 32k for the job and yet their back office so far is functionally inept.

      **** stopped by today to service my AC unit. He made some great recommendations and he provided me his honest opinion. I really appreciated his advice. He is a great technician, super knowledgeable and friendly.

      This is my second time using Mac 5 and by far a better experience than the first. ****** was very knowledgeable, experienced, and polite. He addressed the issues at hand and what needed to be done to remedy the situation. No extra bells and whistles that most companies try to get you to add on to the bill. When asked, he was able to address possible future plumbing projects I am looking into that Mac 5 can service as well. Although my husband can handle most plumbing issues, when he is not available it is nice to know that Mac 5 has an employee like ****** they can send out!

      Today we had an excellent plumber named ****** who did a thorough job setting up access to the city's water and stopping the well we use. He took care of the entire piping the same day. The line had to be left exposed for the city to inspect. I fully expect the work to pass.

      Mac5 Home Services technician collected payment onsite however did not provide an invoice or summary of services performed. The initial diagnostic was not complete and maintenance services were agreed to based on the incomplete information provided by the service tech. After completing the maintenance the technician informed homeowner of another issue and additional cost. The technician did not provide a recommended services report or pricing for a new unit was. After calling the Mac5 office the next morning, the **** manager provided the invoice via email. The description of work in the invoice provided was not accurate. The **** manager did not acknowledge any errors made or offer a resolution to the customer concern presented.Based on this negative experience and the lack of problem resolution, this complaint was created and Mac5 is not a trustworthy or reliable company

      This company came was hired in September to replace an A/C unit - not only did they damage property, leave a 25" by 19" hole in my dining room wall, mastic the door closed so that the filters couldn't be replaced or schedule a final for the A/C until 8 months later but when their company was called this morning because the brand new unit wasn't working correctly they went above and beyond. Instead of cleaning the drain line - which also failed inspection - their tech insisted that I spend ANOTHER $12,000.00 to replace duct work in my house.... to fix the drain issue.... this company is completely unethical and also works alongside Damage Control to completely take advantage of their customers!

      Mac 5 had a service *********** [who was, according to supervisor ******* and General Manager *****] well trained and versed on finance programs tell me when I financed my job there was a 14 month no interest program. When I did not receive that finance program but was given another program I was told by ******* and *****, there was never a finance option in that term. Then I was told by ******* there was a 12 month interest free program, but I would have to pay $300 to be placed on that program. I then spoke with the General Manager ***** who said the ************************************* fact $400 and change to be placed on this program. I was lied to twice and dont appreciate that from a business. I will NOT!!! Recommend Mac 5 electrical services. Funny how their billboards read programmed for your smile. No smiles here!!

      I had Mac 5 come out to complete electrical and then had them come out to attempt to finish the job.The electrical work seems to be operating fine. Even though they did not install my stove correctly! When I had the plumber come back out to cap off a propane line, we had issues. First, he could not get the stove out and said that it was jammed and rhat it had not been put in properly (Take 5 removed it). In the process of un jamming the stove, he chipped off a 4 inch x 2 inch piece of my counterrop. Once the unjamming was done, the stove slide out very easily. Next he looked at the job and said that he doesn't bleed propane lines and cannot remove a tank. He was notified to cap a line and that was it. So he could not complete the work. The price to just cap the line was $450. I told him not to complete the work and he left.

      Update - I contacted Mac 5 on April 25th as requested. The individual was nice and said that he wanted to make it right and asked me to send him pictures of the damage. I sent approx. 17 photos on April 25th to the number he gave me in the post. Today is May 23rd and I have yet to hear anything back.
