      ****** ******* with MAC5 is amazing and did such a fantastic job along with his coworker! They were very professional and super pleasant to work with! They explained everything in detail and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!

      On October 21st they came to check my AC unit. I was informed I have a Freon leak. I opted to refill to see if the leak would seal with the leak seal ** dye. ****** informed me there really is no way to check diagnostic of an AC unit. If the ******* is low it means there is a leak. He put in the sealer with dye, then filled the freon. The total bill $1072.55 $355.30 for the freon, $717.25 for the leak seal with ** dye. On the 22nd I found out the ** dye costs under $20.00. I called and spoke with ***** the manager. And asked him why they charged so much for the ** dye. He stated that is the going rate. And the bulk of the bill is always the freon. [ Yet the freon was half the price of the ** dye] And putting that in is very technical. It took 5-15 sec. After he hooked it up. I also asked him why it wasn't explained to me that a diagnostic can be done on AC's. He stated that there was a diagnostics run on my machine he had a picture of it in the report. He stated that a lot of the technicians don't explain to consumer because it is technical, and we wouldn't understand. So in their eyes they can charge whatever they want. [the government needs to look into this. Clearly they are price gouching].

      I had an emergency repair needed, they came out on a saturday morning, about 0930 am, and replaced the leaking bathroom faucet and water lines and then charged me almost $1000.00. They went to my ********** and picked up a new faucet and water lines. Before the quote I had asked about replacing the guts to the toilet and was quoted $399.00 to do that when I declined they were willing to bring that down to $299.00, I still declined. When I wrote up a review on ****** stating that I felt I was taken advantage of, being a senior female, the customer service responded that they were willing to refund $236.00 to bring my total cost to $700.00, IF and it is a big IF I signed a release from them stating that they did nothing wrong and wanting me to remove my negative review and never speak about them again. I have not signed anything. Feeling very taken advantage of.

      So im a 40 year old disabled vet. I joined the loyalty maintinance program. 2 free ac tune *** a plumbing tune up. Anyway the ac guys come the guy shows me my cold air return isnt enough the builder should have added a 2nd one. He quoted me 308 bucks with the veteran discount. I thought about it thats kinda high but getting on the floor causes me great back pain. So i decided ok go ahead I signed the work order which made it a valid contract.I get a call the morning of yea we cant send a tech out for a 300 dollar job theres bigger and better jobs out there for us. So he says it will be 832 bucks to cut a 20x20 hole in my wall and install a 30 dollar return grate. I called the ********** on them I guess I will be getting a check for my 199 bucks for the program I joined back. About to call my lawyer and see if I have a breech of contract here.I did the job myself in 30 min. An experienced tech can do it in under 15 min and they wanted 832 ******** not done wirh these clowns. I didnt have a yelp acct so I couldnt see the reviews. On ****** they have a 4.9 yelp 2.4 wonder what shenannigans they are playing on google.Heads up Mac 5 you just wronged the wrong man. Since covid many companies have been s******* everyone over. I have dealt with many companies lateley not being ethical not upholding warranties playong games and just being total bums. Im disabled and dont have a job I have the time to protest on the sidewalk in front of your business. MAC 5 STIFFS VETERANS BREECHES CONTRACTS AND RIPS THEM OFF PRICE GOUGERS.I AM BED RIDDEN TODAY CUZ I HURT MY BACK HAVING TO DO A REPAIR THAT THE INTIAL 308 PRICE ***** WASNT ENOUGH FOR YOU YOU HAD TO GO FOR MORE. MY BACK WILL HEAL IN A FEW DAYS. ******* HAS POSTERBOARD FOR A **** EACH MY PROTEST SIGNS MAYBE 2 POSTERBOARDS PER 6FT LONG 2X2 STICK 2 STICKS SOUND GOOD LOTS OF INFO FOR PEOPLE DRIVING BY TO SEE. SEE YOU GUYS NEXT WEEK. AND ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO PROTEST YOU PEOPLE ON PUBLIC PROPERTY

      ******. Repaired a leak on a toilet supply line (very simple job) took less the an hour. Parts costed about $5. They charged $825!!!!!!! Terrible way to do business. Avoid calling these crooks at all costs.
