1 starHorrible system ; the system went live last week on my community and it is the worst . My cleaning lady lost her Uber today because the system was unable to verify her driver license and the security did not grant ****** to the community because the association ( **************) do not allow that security can open the gate. The system Is horrible and for sure I am going to file a complaint with the association .Review fromGuillermo B

Most of the time at the gate, the license scanner does not work. The dispatchers are the worst, you provide them the info of where you are going and they still expect you to show your license and say your name. Terrible experience.Envera Systems

We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns about the verification process. As per our community rules, it is mandatory for all visitors and residents to present their driver's license for security and verification purposes, regardless of whether the scanner is operational upon arrival. Additionally, we are obligated to verbally request and record your identifying information. This record serves both as a reference in case of the need for a review of the entry process and for quality assurance purposes. Please be aware that this procedure is standard for all individuals entering through the visitor kiosk.Review fromA. C.

This system does not have reliable gate operators or systems for dealing with issues. They can not problem solve in the moment and there is no way to contact them to resolve gate operation issues.Envera Systems

I apologize for the inconvenience you've been facing. We were informed about the problems you've encountered, and we attempted to contact you directly. Unfortunately, we couldn't provide assistance at that time because you were not a registered resident within the community.
During our call, we were unable to verify the information with the registered resident. Consequently, we have now contacted the community management to obtain the required information that will enable us to assist you effectively. Once we receive the necessary details, we will get in touch with you again to provide assistance and work together to find a solution to your current issues.A. C.

You did contact me but were rude and continually unhelpful. You were not interested in gaining more information about the review from the person that made the review. Its more than an inconvenience; its incompetence.Review fromGretchen T

1 starNot reliable. The system doesnt accurately read stickers on the many vehicles going through our community. Its a hit & miss situation, meaning the gates may not open for residents. Its a finger-crossing moment every time you attempt to enter the community.I personally have been denied entrance. This creates a moment that is unnerving at best. You must get out of your car, ask the many people behind you to back up so you can try again. And again before finally giving up and having to turn around and wait to go through the Visitors Gate. Breakdowns of the system are common. Fixing the problem always seems to take days instead of a few minute or hours. When a breakdown happens, the gate is left up - even overnight. This situation allows anyone to enter, leaving our community vulnerable, and creating a feeling of being unsafe at home. I, like many (if not most or all) of the residents in our community are more than frustrated with Envera. We want it gone like yesterday! If you are reading this and considering Envera for your community, DONT DO IT!Their equipment does not work consistently. The equipment breaks down often. Enveras service on making needed and sometimes emergency repairs to secure the community is non-existent. An example is a gate that was hit by lightning. This is not the first time lightning has taken out the system. Youd think there would be precautions to insure it doesnt happen, or that replacement equipment is easily accessible. Nope! I saw someone attempt to fix the gate for a few minutes, then left, leaving the gate open. The gate was left open overnight, and into the next day. More than 24 hours has passed. I see that someone has now closed the gate, still unfixed, forcing residents to turn around next to a busy highway, and drive to another gate. Read other reviews. I have yet to find one that is positive.Review fromAlberto S

Gate scanner works a quarter of the times. ID machine gets stuck, keeps your ID, nobody will get it back to you. People listed as verified visitors get questioned half the time. All remote employees who aren't even sure of what they're saying. Trash company.Envera Systems

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and concerns regarding the scanner troubles that have been experienced during the summer months in Florida. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us maintain and improve the quality of our services.
Please allow me to address your concerns and provide you with further information about the situation. Our service team and partners are indeed working diligently to ensure that the scanners are cleaned and maintained in optimal working condition as much as possible. However, given the challenging environmental conditions in Florida during the summer, there may still be instances where the scanners experience temporary disruptions.
In instances where the scanner is temporarily unavailable and a live guard is required to verify entry, please be assured that our approach is driven by a commitment to security. Verifying visitors through live guards and asking the necessary questions is an essential step to ensure the safety and security of everyone within the community. We understand that this process can sometimes be time-consuming, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. However, please understand that these measures are put in place to prioritize the well-being of our residents and visitors.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement. We are continuously working to enhance the reliability of our scanners and to minimize any disruptions that might occur. Rest assured that your concerns have been heard and are being taken seriously by our team.
We greatly value your continued support and understanding. If you have any further questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team. We are committed to providing you with the best possible experience and ensuring that your visits to our community are both secure and pleasant.Review fromJorge M

I'd give Envera NO stars if I could. On Day Two, the community of Windward Ranch experienced a crisis. Incoming traffic, including a school bus, was backed up onto SR 16. The St. Johns County Sheriff wondered what was going on. Residents returning from the graveyard shift or returning to their house dropping kids of at school waited 20-30 minutes or more... until someone was able to OPEN THE GATES. YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS GOING LIVE until you do the work of inputting every last form submitted by the residents of Windward Ranch. Insofar as Envera is concerned, my husband and I don't exist! Neither do our children.

We understand your frustration on the second day of going live at your community. There were two issues that have been addressed. Regarding the wait time, overnight, there was a power surge that disabled the resident credential reader making it stop working, and not allowing residents to enter bypassing the visitor kiosk. Due to this, it increased the amount of traffic that was lined up at the front gate due to everyone needing to speak to a live guard prior to entering. Your community management company was aware of this situation, and our technicians were onsite that morning to fix the problem.
Regarding your information not being in the system, we found that the database we received was incomplete. When we go live at new communities, we implement a soft opening process to be able to allow entry for all unregistered owners, and guests until such time that we receive the registration form. We received yours from the community on the same day of the issue, 4/18 at 9:52am. It was processed at that time, and you have been entered into the system as of now.

On March 29, 2023, a service tech I had an appointment with was turned away from my community because the automatic gate attendant called the wrong homeowner when he presented himself at the gate. The result was a $138.00 service fee charged to my account.. Even though Envera stated in an email that the gate attendant did call the wrong home owner, they refused to pay the $138.00 service fee. A security company is not worth much if they don't take responsibility for the actions of their employees.Envera Systems

We are sorry to hear of the trouble you had with your vendor. After reviewing the transaction in question, our agent advised the person to pull around and contact you once we denied the entry. If he had done so,and called you directly, it would have been recognized we contacted the incorrect resident. He could have come back to try to gain entry again, and let us know of the issue during his first attempt.
