I love to support our police and troopers but this organization harrasses you. Very pushy .I gave a donation in March 2023 and they won't stop calling. I sent letters in June to take me off the call list. The Fundraising Center from area code (339) is relentless. I am logging calls on an Excel spreadsheet. I am going to file a complaint with my data in September 2023. Please shut down the National Police & Trooper Association!

BEWARE! The scam alert here tells you everything you need to know: ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** I received a call from them and it initially sounded like a good cause so I agreed for them to send me something in the mail. I NEVER give a card over the phone, plus I ALWAYS research before giving any money. The caller kept trying to get me to pay over phone. I simply told them I dont have a debit card right now. They want a commitment as as well. They finally agreed to mail me info. The guy on the phone is so creepy and pushy and ***** sounding. He gives you the same feeling as when youre being pushed by a salesperson on commission. Simply Googling this charity produced plenty of negative feedback to warn consumers away from them. Do not give them any money! Instead find the legit charities for the same cause and try to find and give to local charities first. And request your name get taken off here at nine one 4, four 8 seven two five 60

It is the same man pushy, rude man calling. The calls come from different phone numbers and caller ID locations. I keep telling him to remove my number from his list and block the number. I finally got a website from him for the organization (**********************) and called the 800 number phone number on their site (two four seven ****). The pleasant lady appreciated my call and said she would remove my name and number. I did not give her my name but did my number. She said give it a few days and I should not receive any more calls. We shall see. I am all for supporting the men and women in Blue, but this is a pesky SCAM!!!!!

I just received a solicitation call for the National Police & Trooper Association from #three 15 six 12 three 069. The person would not share what company he was calling from. It was clearly a telemarketing firm and not a nonprofit. This is an old-fashioned form of fundraising that is relies on people hearing "police" and "troopers" and feeling they will be xontributinh to something positive. The person on my call was rude, recited talking points, spoke over me, and would not answer any questions I asked. That is not a legitimate fundraising call from a legitimate fundraising company or nonprofit organization.

It is not the association that is calling it is a scammer. That is why I cannot give them one star because they cannot help that a scammer is using their association name. I block the guys number every time he calls and he just calls me from a different number in NC. DO NOT DONATE OVER PHONE OR BY MAIL FROM THIS CALLER. IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME PERSON. ALWAYS DONATE LOCALLY AND IN PERSON.

National *********************************************** Association (NPTA) requested funds for troopers and I agreed to send $25. I stated many times, I don't give personal info over the phone. They finally gave up and said they would mail something but they continued to call. They sent 3 snail mail requests and I decided to research before paying. The link below provides a lot of information on this scammer organization. I'm happy I didn't pay them anything but they continue to call several times a day.! *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

These are robotic calls. They are a scam. If you provide any information to them they will add it into the robo script when calling. If you accidentally send them money, cancel the payment through your bank. Report the scam. Their account for receiving payments is based out of a Florida location using phone number **************. They will send you mail if you donate or threatening letters demanding payment if you provide address information.

Extremely rude and pushy organization. I refused to give out my cc info over the phone and told them to send me info through the mail. Since I am hard of hearing, I did not catch their name when talking to them on the phone. After receiving their info, I was able to do a search for their outfit on line and found that they are a fraud. I have not and will not support this organization and want to warn all of you not to either. As some of the other folks here have stated, the phone calls are incessant and all you can do is block them. They are as bad as they come.

Terrible, nasty, unethical organization. Read an investigative report on them at nny360.com published 26 Feb 2023 ("SPECIAL REPORT: Misleading Solicitation Targets Those Who Help Law Enforcement."), and see where the money goes. Always follow the money. I was called and spoken to forcefully by a man. I refused to donate by phone, stating I am cautious because of phone scams. I requested a letter or donation form so that I could donate by mail if I agreed they were legit. A woman came on the phone to take my mailing info. She was nice at least. When I got the letter in the mail I was able to dig up further info on them, including the article I mentioned above. FYI the President is ****** * ******* His Exec VP, Treasurer, and Secretary was paid $134,000 for one hour of work per week in 2017, according to the above article. Disgusting. The phone number they spoofed was an area code in my state. However this business headquarters NPTA is in Wisconsin and the soliciting entity is IUPA from Sarasota, FL. They have been reported in multiple states with real police associations stating they would NEVER ask for donations by phone. It's hard to believe they attempt this scam after several years of investigating. PS - I did NOT make a donation.

****************** Don't give money to any organization that calls you. Especially this robo-call with the computer "state trooper" voice. Between the police union and your tax dollars, police get everything they need.
