These folks started calling me in 2019. In 2022, despite telling them to put me o n their do-not-call list, despite hanging up in their face, despite putting down the phone and letting them talk to air, despite cursing the bejesus out of one woman last year, they started calling again. The local police claim they can do nothing. If anyone is reading this, if you have the time or inclination, keep them on the phone and record them. I'm not sure if it will help, but if enough ppl record these calls and report them to the authorities, maybe they can be stopped.Tell all of your friends about this scam. Let's make it uncomfortable for them.

I had the same experience as everyone else. Said they would send a statement in the mail and then get transferred to a woman and she asks for your cc information and tries everything not to send the statement. I believe this is a scam and they do not help our police officers and troopers which do an amazing job!

I'm glad I've looked through the customer reviews before I sent in a check. I already knew deep down these people are not above board with their donation practices. I usually only get 1-2 calls a year and always do not have any extra cash left over after bills to donate. On a few occasions the calls came very early in the morning and after getting woke I let him know it was not appreciated at all. This last call was in late February I was driving and winced once I answered it. I had planned to donate but only by mail as I would never give out my credit card number over the phone. They tried so hard to get me to pay over the phone, but I never gave in. They are relentless and have bugged me nonstop since. I've told them to stop calling and now I recognize the ******** numbers they are calling from, so I've stopped answering. I will seek a different charity for the police to donate to.

They did send the bill I told them to send. They were rude, talked fast, very strong-arm tactics verbally on the phone!

One star is too much. First guy said they are going to mail an envelope for donation. Transferred me to another person to verify my info and it was half a recording/half a real person telling me to give them my CC info. Not a chance. Real organizations need money for real causes and no ************* the legit organizations because of scummy ones like this.

These people are not legit. They added my personal information to every charity in *******. I get multiple calls daily wanting money from different charities. The attorney generals office said they couldn't help with these continuous harassing phone calls. They just keep a coming. The only thing to do is change my phone number

Zero start from me. I have the same complaint as everyone else, relentless phone calls.I refused to pay over the phone so they sent a solicitation for payment by mail and I gave them some money. Then the calls began calling roughly 3-5 calls per day. Months later even telling me I promised more money but haven't received a check yet.The phone calls come from dozens of different phone numbers and I have been unable to block them all because they just use another number. The same person called back on the same day even after I asked him to remove me from his call list. They simply hang up it you ask them to stop calling.I just received another solicitation in the mail for money saying that I can avoid the telephone campaign calls if I simply write them a check now. This is bordering on blackmail !I refuse to give another dime to these people for the poor way they treat everyone.I have even questioned the legitimacy of this organization by the way they urgently hound me for money, as thought they expect to get caught and disbanded any day.I desperately ask for the BBB to contact this organizations leadership letting them know they are building a negative reputation online and to stop these poor marketing practices.

Continually call, almost daily. The voice is always the same man. What has this not been shut down by now? He calls from different numbers every time. I have over 100 blocked currently. Absolute non-sense.

When they called and asked for the donation over the phone, I asked for them to mail me a request as I was not giving my CC over the phone. They argued but eventually transferred me to "verify" my address. Thankful for this site to help me decide it it was a legitimate charity. Returned the envelope with a note stating that if you can't be honest about your organization - I cannot contribute. I serve Heroes every day in my capacity a a real estate agent with Homes for Heroes - be wary of scammers.
