As a 20+ year loyal customer, on 6/4/2022, my wife & I went to the Rooms to Go Store on 4206 W. Wendover Ave in Greensboro NC XXXXX. Our salesperson was Stephen ******** We eventually found a Living Room set to our liking and had Mr. Roberts set up everything for delivery. We purchased a sofa, chaise, end table, lamp, accent chair, ottoman, rug, rug pad, & a 3-year membership for their decorator club for a grand total of 4415.97. The display had a total of 6 accent pillows. My wife repeatedly questioned the accent pillows and whether or not they were included and Mr. Roberts informed us they all "come with the set." Upon delivery on 7/2, not only was all the hardware to attach the sofa & chaise missing but so were 4 of the accent pillows. Rooms to Go was made aware of this when they called to confirm the delivery was in order. Upon advising them of the hardware and pillows, they made an arrangement to ship the hardware and have a tech come at a later date. As far as the pillows go, she saw nothing on the order and advised she would contact the salesperson and have him contact us. We received no call back on 7/2 or 7/3. On 7/4, I contacted Mr. Roberts to make him aware of the situation and he advised that he would have to look at the order and get back to me. I never received a call back from Mr. Roberts on 7/4, 7/5, 7/6, or 7/7. In notifying customer service to make them aware we received the brackets and schedule a tech, I again questioned the pillows. The woman advise me she would contact Mr. Roberts and have him call me. Once again, no callback. On 7/10/22, my wife called Mr. Roberts and he told her we would have to pay extra for the 4 pillows because they are not part of the set which totally contradicted what he told us MULTIPLE times when closing the sale. To add fuel to the fire, he e-mailed my wife a link where we can purchase 2 of the pillows and it will link directly to him.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/13) */
      Dear BBB,

We are in receipt of this claim.

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies for the situation with the throw pillows.
Our office reach out to the store manager and they reached out to our customer to resolve the issue with the pillows.

Regarding the Deco Card, our customer's order was discounted on the accessories because of the Deco Card. Since it was used, we would be unable to refund it.

We thank our customer for their business and trust the issues are being handled.

      Sincerely,

      Lourdes C.
      Presidential Assistant
