After reading up on the cirkul straw sip cup lots of people have the same issues I do. That was a horrible invention/idea. A straw sip cup that doesnt work properly. I have to flip the cup upside down to get a little flavor then back to drinking plain water. My cup is a defect and I am not happy after spending 40 dollars for a cup. They need to take this product off the market! A waste of all the cartridges I bought for I been using my little sons cup! Bought from *********************************Business Response

Original transaction date was back on 01/04/2025, where I purchased 40 cartridges for $100. I specifically did not accept nor agree to an auto plan for these products. It was solely to try them. I never received any emails stating that this would be on an auto-plan basis or that I would be charged in advance for future shipments. There was no contract signed stating that this would be an on-going payment plan. It was not until 02/06/2025 that I received an email stating I was now billed another $100 and my order was already in route. When contacting them, they could not refund me the $100 because it was already shipped. They had stated that they send out emails 2 days in advance; however, I searched every email and spam folder I have, no notifications were received in advance to allow me time to catch this. I was already charged and nothing could be done. I never activated any account to cancel this plan in advance as I was never notified that I was part of a payment plan for additional products. They have stated that they have cancelled my continuing payments but again will not refund the $100 or stop the shipment. I did ask if I could return the product same day as delivered ensuring unopened box and they stated it's already been processed and nothing can be done. The whole idea of a payment plan automatically being included when purchasing a one time product bundle is deceitful, misleading, and lack of communication in advance to ensure people's monies will be withdrawn to allow for time to cancel is bad business practice.Business Response

Hi Bre,
I remember specifically not wanting to do a plan and wanted to try out a lot of cartridges as we have a larger family. It was a mix of flavors for everyone. The fact it automatically selects a payment plan when ordering is deceitful to receive a free bottle is not worth it. We had already had 6 bottles from a local volleyball club event.
I looked through every email and spam folder etc to find the 2 day prior email but could not locate anything. I did get your order has shipped email in which I responded to immediately to prevent that. Which was too late to do anything about.
I dont think that 2 day notice email was actually delivered to prevent the order.
There should be extra steps to ensure the purchaser is fully aware of what your company is doing to peoples finances with commitments when trying to purchase your products. Such as an extra question that specifically states before proceeding with this order, you agree you will be charged on the next billing cycle of (date) for another shipment. Do you wish to continue?
To set up an automatic bill plan by a simple check box being missed and automatically selected when purchasing a product is simply an unfortunate way to receive recurring business.
Had I received that 2 day notice email, I absolutely wouldve stopped the shipment.
I also offered to return the package same day or wouldve even told the postal service to not deliver and return back to ensure refund and safety of products but was informed thats not possible.
I still have not opened the current shipment because we are not happy with cirkul products at all. Even with all the flavors we have.
Then the only resolution the company offers is your fault but heres $10 e gift card for products you dont want.
Overall, this whole process is bad business practice and really should have better ordering steps in place to ensure full disclosure to consumers.
Thank you for not working towards a better resolution and only responding due to a complaint by the BBB rather than when I tried to work it out with the company directly previously.

I ordered 14 inserts. I opened the blackberry lemonade and it tasted awful, like a plastic bottle thats been sitting out in the sun. So I decided to try a different flavor from a different series b/c maybe it could just be the flavored lemonades. I tried the cucumber and same hot plastic taste. I immediately sent a email, put in a refund request on the cirkul site. I finally got through to the company by phone today after multiple attempts and requesting a refund or replacement online with only a "how did we do" follow up email but no email to fix the concern. I spoke with a representative today and he told me the most he could do was offer free three sips with my next order or offer a $5 gift certificate. When I told the representative that is not acceptable, he then changes it to two free sips with the next purchase. I respond you just said 3 why is it now down to 2? He says "oh I am sorry we can make it 3 if thats what youd like". If that is permissible, why cannot I not just get a full replacement for all 14? I even asked if they could give me a certificate to use to one of the retailers like ******* as thats where I first discovered Cirkul and had no issue with the two inserts I received from ******* for christmas. He said that is not possible. He also asked me to send a picture of all 14 barcodes for the products so they can further look into the issue. So I am not only being shorted, I have to do their jobs? This is unacceptable and I'd prefer a full refund.Business Response

I placed order that never arrived upon looking shows delivered by a photo that isnt even of my home, company wants to argue in sending a replacement instead of my money back, this is my last chance with them before issiung a chargeback from my bank. This is unacceptable since this was a gift that didnt arrive and reshipment would not help for a gift that was needed. If you can reship you can refund, Im concerned I wouldnt receive it and once again was a gift, I had to purchase items in store. While on the website, there was a promotion advertised for purchasing 10 flavor cartridges, you receive a free stainless steal bottle. The bottle showed in the cart grayed out, until 10 cartridges were in your cart. When completing the order, the bottle disappeared and only the cartridges appeared on the order. I received the order and no bottle. When contacting them for help over the phone they chose to end the call and instead communicate via email. They emailed an offer of $5 because that wasnt a current promotion. I explained that it was the promotion while shopping. They said that in some instances a promotion appears in cart but when checking out will disappear if no longer valid. I went back and forth with them via email and they refused to honor it. I found other people posting online with the same issue, including a link for this promotion. Their final offer was a plastic bottle, again not honoring the advertised promotion, the only reason for adding 10 cartridges vs the 4 I originally had in my cart. I am rejecting this response because:The Initial offer of $5 was not appropriate. The offer for a PLASTIC bottle only came when I mentioned I would be filing a formal complaint. The stainless steel bottle was advertised for 10 cartridges. It was a ploy to put more things in my cart, only for it to not be honored. No, that is not acceptable.

Bought a Cirkul straw stainless steel cup along with three cartilage for it on 12/1/24. I was hoping this would be my answer to drinking water. Unfortunately, not a drop of water will sip threw the cup, even loosening the lid so the straw isn't touching the bottom, still doesn't work. We had three people to try and tried all the cartilage, still doesn't work. This is the worse purchase ever.Business Response

I ordered some flavors on the 20th of November 2024. I was only going to get a few for friend but a prompt came up saying that if I bought 10 I could get a free bottle. So I did and I started a subscription for every month. The shipping was pretty fast I got it yesterday November the 24th 2024. Unfortunately it did not have my bottle in there so I wrote an email to the company. I did not take screenshots I wish I would have because now they say that they haven't had that deal since July. To be completely honest I just want everybody to take screenshots and record what they do on that site because something isn't correct. I have since canceled my subscription and will no longer use them. My friend got 10 flavors instead of 5 so I guess good for her. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure that you take screenshots of any order you make this company. I would not recommend them to anyone.Business Response

I ordered 2 62 oz cups 2 lids. I paid ***** for these items. I only received 1 cup. I contacted ******* customer service & showed all the proof requested to receive my missing cup. I ordered this on November 10 2024. I emailed them for almost a week. I was accused of not having a order. The customer service representative I emailed accused the post *********** neighbor's of stealing the cup out of a completely sealed box I received. I told the representative that that wax impossible as I received a unopened box with the Cirkul name on it with only one cup & 2 lids. I inquired about when I would receive my 2nd cup & the representative accused me of lying about receiving the 2nd cup when I sent her a picture of the items I received & still wasn't offered my missing cup. I am disappointed in how Cirkul handles inquiries regarding allergies. I'm allergic to pineapple and i tried to reach out to find out which flavors contain pineapple. I was told several times to check the website thst I have checked. The ingredient list for any given cartridge on the website does not say which fruits were used, only "natural flavors" when I try to push for information, I've gotten the following responses:"That's proprietary informafion" information regarding an allergy shouldn't be proprietary. Ingedient lists should be given to customer service to help facilitate trust between customer and brand as well as transparency."Reach out to your doctor" this is trying to suggest i don't know my own allergy. Cirkul was zero help here as my doctor isn't going to know what Cirkul puts in the cartridges."The name will say pineapple or the box will have an image of the fruit." Not all boxes contain the image of pineapple nor fruit name. Island Punch is suggestive but so is Fruit Punch. Either one could have it. Pineapple is also a substitute for mango in drinks and used as a ************ order shipped but I'm returning everything. This is not how you handle this.Business Response
