1 starWe ordered a labor and employment compliance poster from this company. Since receiving our order and check, this company has harassed my company to increase our $25.90 order with them to a $295.00 order. They have called us daily for four days under various guises to deceive us into spend more money with their company - despite our refusal to increase our order. Today I told them to cancel our order and refund our money. We will see if they honor this request.Workwise Compliance

1 starThis company has been contacting the owner (who is 80 years old) by telephone and convencing her to purchase a Texas Compliance package that as of this year is running close to $1,000. These forms are all provided free of charge to any business and printable of the Texas Workforce Commissions website. They used fear of criminal charges as a selling point. I have been employed with the company since 1997, but just recently started doing the bill pay for the company. We have always gotten the invoice thru the mail, but for some reason my company email got tied to the account. And that I am thankful for. I am just appalled that there are businesses out there that take advantage of older people like they did. I do not recommend doing business with them.Workwise Compliance

1 starThese are very nicely made laminated posters, most of them. If you are a small company you need to make sure you have the wall space. Some posters are double sided, so I get confused on what side to put up. This company will save you time by having all the information there for all the states. I was paying $600 a year.
BUT, before you sign up with Personal Concepts, beware it is difficult to leave. They will put you on an annual subscription, then ROBO CALL call you push their product. You can yell, scream, hang up on the salesman and they "robo" call you right back. Hangup again, they "robo" call you right back. The answer is YES, not hanging up. The answer is YES, I need these. They immediately mail the posters. At a hefty fee, around $60, included in your billing.
I would not recommend them. You can get a lot of the information on the internet and then print and post yourself. You can get from other folks cheaper. Most payroll companies will have them for under $100.00.
I did escape from their clutches and they have put me on a list not to call anymore. I'll see how that works.
Do your research, don't let their salesman pressure you into the purchase. They are relentless.

Hello *****.
Thank you for your review and sharing your experience with our
company. We are sorry about the negative experience and will take your feedback
into consideration to better improve our approach. We are additionally sorry that we didn’t explain our posters
properly when we had the chance. Our labor law posters are double sided for customers
with smaller posting spaces just like you mentioned. The same information is
printed on both sides to give customers the flexibility to post horizontally or
vertically. Posting vertically will help save wall space since it is sized to
fit on an office door. While some customers like that we keep in touch for frequent
regulation changes, we can see how it can me overwhelming for others. Again, we
are sorry about your experience and appreciate your feedback. If you need
further assistance on your account, please contact us at ******************@*****************.com.Review fromWendy M

1 starAfter ordering compliance posters for our business, we then began to get calls wanting payment for something that we did not order. Sales people also called and sold "OSHA" training to an employee here who had no authority to purchase anything. The employee was bullied and scared into purchasing training because we are supposedly in non-compliance with OSHA and that's against the law. I have contacted the company to state that I will not be paying this and have asked to be removed from all sales attempts. We'll see what happens.Workwise Compliance

1 starPersonnel Concepts Inc. is a scam that misleads consumers as having an affiliation with The California Labor Board. On 11/17 we received a notice stating that we "... must ensure compliance with the revised 2023 labor law posting requirements, including the recently released mandatory EEOC 'know your rights notice' ( effective 10/20/2022).'' This notice included charges in the amount of $14.95 as well as shipping charges of $5.95 for a California and Federal Labor Law Laminated Poster. This notice was signed and ONLY $20.90 was agreed upon using a prepaid credit card. on 12/2/2022, we then received an email notice stating that they would be adding a charge of $199.95 for CA Compliance Assurance Plat Upgrade Subscribers Benefits. In addition, there was a $50 charge for Hiring and Onboarding Compliance Bundle. None of these charges were agreed upon or even mentioned prior to being charged. Personnel Concepts fraudulently charged the add on bundles using a card used for the previous charge of $20.90 which was signed for. They state that they are 'Worry free compliance', however this has not been our experience. I would not recommend their services as this is a classic bait and switch SCAM. I would leave NO STARS if an option.Review fromCasey L

1 starThe staff who contact business' are outright inconsiderate, disrespectful and unprofessional. The harassment that myself and my employees dealt with regarding their job posters and compliance it downright uncalled for. When my office manager informed them that we chose to take our business elsewhere the disrespect she received was unacceptable.Review fromChandelle B

1 starTHEY ARE A SCAM!! Do not use. Like many other complaints on this site, we placed an order for two laminated posters and included payment for them and shipping (about $40). A week or so later we started getting aggressive sales calls, asking for our business owner, saying that we would not be in compliance if we didn't order the additional $250 in other posters. We declined and said we only wanted our original order. After two weeks of this, my employee "went off" on the caller and told them to stop calling. We then received an order confirmation and an additional invoice for $70 of additional shipping cost (for two posters!!). I immediately replied and asked to cancel the order, as we would never order something with that kind of shipping cost. No response. Two days later I got a shipping confirmation, and then a reminder from Accounts Payable to pay the final costs. I responded again and said that we would be declining the shipment and attached my previous email. Someone responded immediately and said that we would receive a refund when they got the package back. The shipment did arrive, but we declined it and had UPS take it back. We'll see if we ever get our money. Don't fall for it! Go for the more expensive posters from reputable companies (like Safeguard).Review fromJordan D

1 starThis company is a scam and preys on new small business owners. Their goal is to scare potential customers into buying products they offer at outrageous prices, without disclosing those prices and with tactics to speed up sales cycles creating a facade that they're the only company that has what the business needs to be compliant in state or federal laws. They then immediately send the products without a payment or agreement to purchase so the customer has to pay that aforementioned outlandish price refusing returns. Lastly, they threatened to send my invoice to collections reinforcing the idea that I had literally no choice in the transactions. This company is basically a mob and should be ashamed and disbanded. I will do everything to avoid paying for this unwanted product.Review fromNora M

1 starI have been dealing with this company since 2019 and have told them to stop calling me or my staff and yet they keep calling. I have told them not to send me any items, and yet they keep sending them and saying that I or one of my staff ordered them. I have asked them to remove me from their mail and call list and yet three years later, I still get bills and posters from them.
I have told the staff not to accept any packages from this company. We return packages back to them and have them ship them right back to us. How can they still be operating and doing business with such bad business tactics. They are a bunch of Scammers.
The posters they want our business to purchase are free but yet they charge ridiculous prices for them. How can I get them to stop calling and sending us packages?
Actually, they do not desire not even one star. Please help me.Review fromSue T

1 starSame as all other posts~ SCAM. I got a 2023 update notice in the mail and ordered a laminated poster for about $23.00. I started getting calls from strange numbers, wanting to know more information about our business so they could "customize" our poster for our specific business. After I answered all the questions, he said the poster would cost over $200~ I told him to cancel the order. I continue to get calls from "Alabama numbers" when this company is actually located in CA. I spoke to a person yesterday, explained what happened and ask to be put on a DNC list. She asked if I wanted to cancel the order- told her yes...and just got another call today. I wish I could give less than one star. My next call with be to the FTC!!
