These people are evil. I had requested them to STOP mailing me envelopes and letters for a year. My last requests was in Nov. 2024 and Dec. 2024 and they MAIL me something 3-4 times every week. I called customer service multiple times on the phone for hours. I ASKED THEM to CANCEL my membership and they refuse. They keep transfering and disconnecting me. They REFUSED TO TELL ME HOW TO CANCEL. I spoke to a CS rep on the phone who tried to cancel but she said she could not. She said I needed "a signature" but she REFUSED to tell me what I need a signature for or what I had to send. THEY WILL NOT CANCEL MEMBERSHIP on the phone even though I asked multiple times. Instead, they will put me on hold for over 1 hour and transfer and then disconnect me if I asked to cancel my membership. I asked them on the phone on Dec. 23, 2024 and the rep put me on hold for an hour and then it got disconnnected. Then, I called back again and spoke to Stephanie the supervisor who is forced to asked me questions in order to tell me information on how to cancel my membership. This took an additional 51 minutes for her to tell me what to write to put in a request to cancel. She was forced to ask me questions. The amount of PAPER they waste is infuriating! They send me mail weekly 3-4 times a week in my mailbox. I requested them to STOP mailing me and they send me MORE mail. I have to put in a request to cancel my membership and sign it, but it took them more than one hour to tell me that information. This company wastes peoples' time and is extremely inefficient, gives people the runaround and is probably a big scam.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER!!! For 5 years I used WellCare for prescription drug plan for my wife and myself. In 12/23 I received a new debit card, same number, different expiration date. We were set up with auto pay previously, and after I informed WellCare of the change of expiration date, things went bad. After several documented attempts to set up auto pay, we were dropped for failure to pay. My bank said there were no issues on my end and that the problem was with WellCare. After several attempts and hours on the phone I spoke with the grievance rep, Latempest, who refused to reinstate us, even though we had paid our premiums in full. I called Medicare and explained the situation and was told that they could not reinstate us, but WellCare could if they took ownership of the technical problem. I can understand why they would not do so because of their already poor rating. Rather than correct the problem they left me and my wife in the cold.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

CMS guidance does not permit reinstatement based on the receipt of a payment after the end of the grace ******* All Failure to Pay requirements and standards were followed by Billing Department that included correspondences and outreach to the member.

There needs to be a 0 star option. Wellcare has taken advantage of my elderly mother, leaving her with a healthcare plan that has required her to change all of her providers, and I believe, affected her quality of care. Before she was called and convinced to sign up with this substandard Medicare Advantage plan she had traditional Medicare with a plan F that covered all of her medications and allowed her to see providers that could provide quality care in a timely manner. I believe that she was called and is a victim to a sales pitch by representatives at Wellcare that did not explain that this plan would take over as her primary insurance. This kind of sales tactic should be against the law and I will be telling anyone that will listen to stay far away from Wellcare.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

I had a horrible experience with Welcare. I needed to be referred to an endodontist. From February to October 2024, they were never able to get me a dentist. They referred me to well over ************************************************************ the network. I still have the email they sent to me with 80 dentists contacts, and none of them accepted Welcare. I happened to mentioned to Welcare a dentist office that I had visited about two years earlier where I had a very bad experience. Welcare contacted them to see if they had an endodontist and they did. I did not want go back to this dentist office but Welcare insisted that I go and gave me an attitude as if I had NO choice in the matter. It was either this bad experience dentist office or no one. I should have choices and not be forced to go to an undesired business. I DID go to this bad experience dentist office and they told me that a procedure that I needed will cost me $500 out of pocket in which I refused to ******, at the end of the day, Welcare NEVER found me an endodontist dentist.They also have the WORST customer service. They were rude, evasive and insensitive towards my concerns. Needless to say, I left them in October and will never go back.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

WellCare / Centene Alt Formats sent some type of spiral bound book in braille. I haven't had WellCare for over a year, am not blind and have no use (other than to make snowflakes) for this book. You wasted paper, ink, binding and postage. Please correct your records.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

I echo ***** S's review of the corrupt frauds at C2C Innovative Solutions in her review exactly, with some additional info about frauds at Wellcare: I submitted my Part D LEP appeal via **** Certified Mail on 5/24/2024. *** picked it up from the ** in ************, **, on 5/30/2024. Today is 10/31/2024 (appropriate because its Halloween and C2C are the sole, monstrously incompetent, and pharmaceutical-industry owned-and-operated arbiters of Part D LEP appeals). So, it has been almost exactly 5 months, and I have not received any communications from *** at all: no adjudication, no assignment of a case # (so that I could try to get info from the website), no contact # for me to call them. As far as I know, C2C has simply discarded my appeal. And, Wellcare (WC), my Part D insurer, has been worse than no help at all: WC impeded my appeal by falsely claiming (to me AND TO A MEDICARE AGENT ON A CONFERENCE CALL) that they had sent me the paper appeal forms in the mail 3 TIMES over the course of 2 months! Today, WC said that they had declined to respond to *** regarding my appeal FOR THE VERY REASON I APPEALED! They refused to provide me with a means by which to speak with a human at ***, and stated that I could keep resubmitting my appeal to C2C and hope that *** might respond some day. A note on Part D (and probably ********** Advantage as well): ******** denies virtually any responsibility for enforcing any of the regulations that allegedly govern this private insurance. C2C is an arbiter selected by the Part D insurers and the pharmaceutical industry, as a cat's paw to deny Part D LEP and coverage claims. They are not responsible to ********* SSA, of the US **** of HHS, or ******** recipients. They are incentivized to deny (or simply ignore) LEP appeals, particularly because the *** IS NOT ASSESSED, COLLECTED, OR RETAINED by any government agency, but rather by the Part D insurer ALONE. In short, neither C2C nor Wellcare have any reason to abide by ******** rules.WellCare Health Plans, Inc.

Wellcare is a scam company I recently had an drug prescription plan with them for 26 dollars a month.They kept trying to make me pay in advance every month 50 dollars .I had to call every month and argue with the illiterate no English speaking employees to stop it But they kept doing it .I have lost my patience for this company and have recently closed my account again I say that wellcare is an total scam total scam and needs to be investigated immediatelyWellCare Health Plans, Inc.
