In June of 2021, I contacted Ideal Image to discuss laser hair removal treatment. I was quoted a price and a payment plan. I asked a few questions such as What happens if I can no longer afford the payments? and Will it affect my credit if I cannot pay? The representative assured me that I would be able to stop making the payments if I needed and that the only repercussion would be that I would not be able to receive further treatment. I signed the contract based on this information, only to find out later that I was on the hook for the entire amount, even if I did not receive all of my treatments, and that if I could not make my payments, that they could, in fact, report me to the credit bureaus.I missed an appointment in July of 2022, and when I called several times to try to reschedule, I was unable to reach anyone. At that point, still believing I could cancel my contract, I started trying to call their corporate number. After being on hold for over an hour several times and then getting disconnected without speaking to a representative, I gave up and tried to file a stop payment through my bank. They investigated and sent me a letter saying I had signed a contract saying I was liable for the whole amount. I finally looked up my contract and found that what I had signed was vastly different from what had been explained to me by their representative.Today, I called and spoke with a manager in their billing department, who told me that I had completed my treatment plan and owed the remaining balance. But my treatment plan was for 9 treatments and I only received 6. He tried to tell me 4 of my 9 treatments were complimentary, but the contract doesnt say that. Then, he hung up on me when I suggested that at the very least, their representatives should be trained better and not give people false information, because I would never have signed the contract if I had read it myself instead of believing what I was told.Business Response

We apologize about any miscommunication or misunderstanding from the contract signed. Our contract pricing is derived from 5 standard treatments and up to 4 touch-up treatments at no cost. The contract states: Unlimited treatments within your prescribed treatment interval. Treatment intervals range from **** weeks. Price per session derived using a 9 treatment plan of 5 standard treatments and 4 touch-up. At this time the guest is fully treated and not eligible for refund. I signed a contract with Ideal Image/Ally Bank for treatment upwards of $6500, monthly payments of $355.00. I was told by my consult (verbally) that I could change that monthly amount at any time. I have been hit with some unexpected medical bills and bills in general, so was looking to lower the payment significantly. When I called the business, I was told they have nothing to do with the loan once i sign. I called Ally, and they said that I could not change the monthly payment. I could pay what I could, deal with the late fee. I broke down in tears. This combined with other monthly payments have depleted my savings and caused me to move back in with my parents, as living cost is also increasing and I cannot afford. I was told by ideal image to take the loan through the third-party. Im aware I didnt need to, but the way that ideal image presented the loan was misleading. Every time Ive called about this, they push it out to Ally, and say that the third party has to deal with it, not ideal image.
Even though they are the ones who set it up for me.

I was given a virtual consultation and told I only needed one round of cool sculpting. They gave me a price and I went into a loan with ********** When I arrived on site for the consult, I was told that only one round of cool sculpting would not work and that it would deform my body. Instead, I would need a much higher amount (17 -20 rounds and an additional cost of $6,440). I did not agree to go forward based on this scope change. I was told I still was responsible for the full amount (over $3,000) even though I never had any work done, the scope was changed, and the cost of the work was changed. On June 17, 2021, I received my first communication from *******************************. Consultation on September 4, 2021.My first appointment was on September 8, 2021, at 9:30 am. Next treatment November 4, 2021, and during this treatment, I was told that I have a lot of gray hair and that the laser would not work on it. The salesperson said it would remove gray hair.My next treatment was on December 21, 2021, I noticed after that treatment that my skin was darker and irritated in my private area bikini area and my upper lip. Because of the discoloration of my skin and the irritation I waited 63 days before going back (December 21, 2021 February 22, 2022. I was hoping my laser ***** would get better. During my February 22, 2022, treatment I explained to ***** that I was having issues and that the *****/irritations were not going away. During this treatment, she marked the ones that had not healed and completed the other areas. My skin was inflamed after the May 22, 2022, treatment I could no longer wear underwear. I went back and met with ***** in June and July ***** took pictures and shared them with the doctor for Ideal Image. He said he would call a prescription to ********** He didnn't. I made an appointment with my doctor because my bikini area was totally inflamed. She prescribed Doxycycline Hyclate 100MG. I was also prescribed by my OBGYN Clobetasol a topical cream twice a day for the first 6 weeks and later twice weekly as it heals. I am still applying it as of 11-26-2022. I was told originally 1. My credit report would not be pulled 2.The laser would work of my skin type and would not burn or irritate my skin.3.Their laser would remove gray hair 4. If I had any complications I could terminate the agreement I would like to end the contract because they have lied so many times and I can't receive any more treatments. The representatives at Ideal Image continue making false statements and covering things up.
The most recent false statement was the one they communicated to ********* to the person investigating my claim again Ideal Image. One of the representatives from Ideal Image sent ***** my Ally claims person an email communication in that I had stated I wanted to drop the dispute and continue with treatments. This is totally crazy and I quickly called and spoke with ********* and explain this was a lie. They also communicated to the BBB that things were settled and this is also a lie. I am currently working with my attorney concerning this matter and would like to know if anyone else would be interested in legal action. ************ is out of control and someone needs to let others know what to expect. I reached out to the Attorney Generals office. I have proof of my conversation with ***** Ideal Image representative who clearly states that once they were contacted by the ************************** they pull the $3,200 refund offer. It was void instantly and all the notes concerning our conversation on December 19, 2022, were immediately deleted they changed the files to reflect that I had all of my treatment. I have proof of the offer being voided. As I stated, I have a note from *********'s representative stating that I had decided to end the dispute and continue with treatments. I also have proof during my visit to Ideal Image when ** one of the employees ask if I used my credit card for the treatment and she said if I did I should just stop making the payment. This was during the time they reviewed my charts. Both ** and ***** clearly knew and understood the treatment was causing me issues.
Ideal Image originally tried to get me to sign a document in the amount of $1,200.00 and not say anything amount my issues with them. I said no that they had caused injuries to me, and I told the nurse on several occasions that I could not have any more treatment and I wanted to end the contract. The total amount of both agreements were ~$6,600 and they wanted to give me a refund of $1,200 and leave me paying for a service I could not use and not say anything in return for the small reduction of $1,200. They have lied continually.
This has not been resolved as of 2/1/2022. I hope that something can be done about their actions and the number of individuals that they continue impacting.

I am rejecting this response because: I'm REJECTING this response from Ideal Image, they have done nothing but lie. I went to the location in ******* to speak with them and review my records because the information is incorrect and I have not received the treatment that they have stated. They have not been transparent from the beginning and I have proof. I have so much proof of the bad business practices in the ******* location. I think that they are not aware of them because they are not do a detail investigation. I have completed my own investigation and as I have state have proof that is so clear that there is no question. I will bring legal actions again them. ************ is certainly a scam. I will say this the records are not only incorrect concerning my treatment the files are incomplete. Wow, you would think they would have their lie together after all this time. But I have proof that this is not the case and the true will be revealed shortly. I totally reject this and they need to resolve this before it moves legally to the next level. Reject, Reject, Reject. Some one need to stop this company and soon. How many complaints will it take to make this a class action movement? I think we will find out soon.

I currently been on a automatic pay for the cool sculpting service I recieved they quoted me nearly *****+ for 4 sessions what was really like only 2 I have yet to see any results I got a bad red rash on my skin from the areas treated this service definitely isnt worth the price they quoted me and I feel robbed . I purchased over $3000 dollars for cool sculpting treatments in November of 2021. I had a treatment at Ideal Image. I found out I cannot do cool sculpting because my stomach became numb ongoing, still numb at cool sculpting sites months later after the first treatment after cool sculpting treatment. I work as a Physical Therapist and am familiar with what should be appropriate sensation cutaneously. I emailed multiple, multiple times and got the run around for months. Then told my old sessions expired. I explained I couldn't have cool sculpting from adverse reactions. Finally evaluated for these negative effects by the *** who said all of my messages she saw/heard voice messages (I still have all vm copies) and heard were deleted or removed from my file and that no communication was shown from me at all. She understood the reaction and agreed cool sculpting isn't appropriate for me. I had requested a refund it was denied and told I could have more cold sculpting!! even though your *** told it was medically contraindicated.I am going to court for a full refund, as it is medically contraindicated to continue the services I purchased due to adverse effects. I am rejecting this response because: This business makes it a business to ignore any complaints...look at the thousands of responses of complaints all with the same story. they do not resolve it at the local level, multiple phone calls, in person visits required and then they reject addressing the actual problem. I spent months and have documented phone messages and voice mails from over 6 months trying to get someone to address that I was physically altered from my services at Ideal Image. No response, and finally told after meeting with a medical professional, that they ignored my medical concerns (I am a medical professional as well). and ignored my request to receive full compensation for all services so I am forced to go first small claims court and then civil court if needed for physical damages. Ideal Image refused all recommendations from the *** as well. However, As soon as it went to the BBB, I received a phone call the same day. It is what they do and hope to get people discouraged to attempt resolution. This company is not safe and I will also be reporting them to the medical board. The company representative offered a partial refund which is not what I requested. I refused their joke of an attempt to resolve. I have filed a small claims case against all officers of the company and will request the *** involved to be witness as well. I am rejecting this response because: *********** again is fraudulent in their practices. You have to sign an agreement without ability to modify to receive services that ONLY protects them and not the consumer in any manner. I brought up to their medical professionals that I was very concerned about the numbness in my abdomen after the first time long after first treatment that had not dissipated ever and still remains. I was ignored and reassured and then they reapplied ignoring me and finding corporate taglines to explain away the numbness still present and had three different CNPs for that treatment due to issues in their office all ******* around any ignoring my concerns. The next time I flatly refused and had a CNP see me from their office and she agreed it was medically contraindicated and had caused permanent altered sensation in my abdomen. She saw all of the voice messages I had over 6 months and stated that they had deleted any communication from me on my chart as if I had never contacted them as a tactic. She told me to make sure I held onto all those voice messages as it showed I was trying to get someone to address my numbness issue.I told her I didn't just want a different kind of service, I had signed up only with the interest of the cool sculpting as it was told to be completely safe. She attempted to have my fees refunded and I have a voice message documented that stated they denied my refund or any monies returned or my concerns and stated I could have more cool sculpting as an option, which was medically contraindicated. However, it was not until I complained to the BBB that anyone even responded directly to me after my record on my phone of 8 voice messages returned over 8 months basically stating . A partial refund for permanent altered sensation is not acceptable. This company uses medical professionals as part of their company, but when it comes to culpability, they state they are contractors. I have formally filed a small claims case in ******** with all officers of the company and will require the CNP's involved in my case as witnesses. This company with ***** complaints on BBB are obviously not a safe company for anyone to deal with and work the system to ignore complaints from thousands of customers. If there are over ***** complaints...imagine how many clients don't complain that should, warnings to folks generally should be warranted if they are not willing to address medical concerns of clients even through the BBB.

The Ideal Image requires up front payment for the Ult procedure and then convinced me I should join the lifetime club also to get their best price on the procedure and told me that it is not painful which was my main hesitation. On 07/27/22 they charged me $1,100 total (250 for club and 850 for ult treatment one time). Then later, the technician who would do the procedure told me it would be very painful because I had signed up for the neck area and I could get pain meds only from my own doctor. So I did and got a ride from a friend since I would on meds and the drive is 1 hour 30 min each way for the scheduled appt on Nov 30,2022, which was also complicated bc they are very unavailable.On Nov 29 I got a text that the appointment canceled because I had not confirmed the appointment on their system? In the past I received a phone call to confirm from Ideal Image or no call at all and I just showed up, I never had to confirm electronically and was not aware that this is how they do business. I have had lighter procedures at Ideal Image and have had many struggles with getting an appointment (they take your money before even scheduling and then have no available spots however the time-span to get the paid for treatments also runs out. And, I had one other time I showed up and they had also unknowingly canceled because their nurse was sent out for training and they forgot to call me and let me know my appointment was canceled.I called and told them I wanted my $1100.00 refunded and did not want to reschedule the ult therapy treatment. However, when you call you don't even speak to the office where you go (even tho they have a receptionist) you speak to a call type center who can only put in a request for a 'case manager' to return you call in several business days!! I was given the approval to finance cosmetic treaments through ideal images financial institution ally. At no point was I told that their nurses can only perform specific techniques which inhibit the results desired. At no point was I told once I paid for the service I could not receive my money back. I called and asked several people if I could retract my second lip filler because the nurses arent allowed to perform other techniques that all other Med spas perform (placement of filler in a lip). I was told I cant have my money refunded but theyd credit my account. I was not happy with my results and they didnt seem to care to help fix it without paying more. I went to my second session because I felt pressured to do so due to not being able to get my money back. I didnt want to waste the money I had already gave. I was told Botox lasts 2-4 months. My Botox treatment lasted under two months. I complained to management and ****** reviews but I was told theres nothing they will do to rectify my short duration of longevity to the Botox treatment. And that I should try another product they have dysport, for more money. I wasted 5-600$ on a treatment that lasted me 3 weeks and no one is willing to help rectify this.Business Response

I have been a customer of ******************** for several years. I've purchased multiple packages for laser hair removal. Several areas of my body did not take with their standard treatments so they have always promised to keep working with me. They said they never understood why the treatment didn't work and started doing a "double pass" on sections of my body. That actually worked and I was so excited until they got to my face. My upper lip and chin never fully achieved the promised results. They asked if I wanted to purchase additional packages of other products and I said no and they said they couldn't help me then. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they'd get back to me but never have. I've asked to speak to a manager multiple times and no response in person or over the phone so I started an email and they refused to work with me and will no longer respond. They blamed my hormones and had me pay for TSH, DHEA, Testerone, LH, FSH, and Androgen test and they all came back negative. They also had me pay for additional treatments on another part of my body and then later admitted the treatments do not work on blond hairs. I would have never paid for 2 of the treatments or paid for additional treatments if that was the case. I contacted ideal image for services, and obtained a loan through Ally lending. Due to my limited income I asked Ally if we could change payment date to 3rd of each month rather then 28th. They told me they could not change it and after 3 days I would be charged $35 late fee. So I had no choice but to cancel because I can't afford that, and it was different from what I agreed to. Ideal image won't budge either and so one treatment,that was supposed to be free in beginning they want $250 for it It isn't my fault and was not my understanding big any of itBusiness Response

We have reached out to this guest and offered to cancel loan with financing company as guest states company will not work with her on changing the payment date. Apologized that Ideal Image is unable to change the date for a payment that is due with another company. We have offered to recreate the contract for the guest so the guest can make payments to Ideal Image so that she can have her payments on a date that she needs. The guest did not seem to understand that Ideal Image is trying to work with her and we do sincerely apologize that the 3rd party company is unable to change her payment due date. Ideal Image has offered the guest other terms of resolution. The guest has been treated once and we are unable to refund for any treatments that have been rendered. The guest has been presented with resolution. The guest is welcome to accept or decline however without signature we will not be able to resolve.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I was supposed to initially go in to learn about my treatments, and receive a free service of bbl. However they changed it. So they advertise coming in for a free service before you decide to go further.I did ask the lady what payment would be for services if I paid ideal directly, and her response was that she was not sure. I am disabled, and 61 years old so limited on income.

As stated previously we have offered the guest resolution but Ideal Image is unable to change the date for a loan payment with another company. The guest is welcome to accept the offer, however without a signature we are unable to proceed with resolution.

I am rejecting this response because: well not really fair because should of done free service first. Also should work with loan companies who will allow client to change date by a day or two, but I guess other then bad reviews and not using them ever again I have to accept.
