  If I could rate this company at a ZERO, I definitely would. On the date that the movers came they were an hour behind time and did not notify me until after the designated time slot. On arrival there still was no moving truck just two men in a car with a contract wanting me to sign. For the items that I had on my list I was told that there would be an additional $1,000-$3,000 that I would need to pay. This including moving the items from my house to the truck, that was not there, the possibility of having to use an elevator on delivery, wrap items such as a couch and mirror that were already on my packing list, etc,. I tried to reach out to the 24/7 number that is listed on the contract as well as the other 24/7 number that is listed on the contract and could not reach anyone. Not once did the company reach out to me to resolve the issue, any communication was always initiated by me. Apparently there was also two different contracts floating around as well. I've tried to handle the issue civilized and even requested a refund that them do not want to honor even though they went against their own contract. Because of this I am left without movers at the last minute. I sent an email to their customer service representative and have yet to receive a response back. I will continue to fight this issue and WOULD NEVER recommend this company to anyone. At this point this company seems very much like a scam!

  We always strive to make our estimates as accurate as possible and in this case, according to the movers on site, the customer had many additional items not listed on their inventory. The pickup was on a Saturday and we did not receive a phone call from them until Monday, we have never received any email either. Our phone log can be provided upon request. Legacy Moving Group has dedicated a significant amount of time, energy and resources to this move. We have attempted to contact the customer to offer a partial refund but have yet to receive a response.

  Beware. Legacy brokered our move rather than performing the move themselves. Once our move was sold, they provided no further information about the delivery date. I finally realized i needed to speak directly with the mover, Primavera Moving from MD. We finally received the delivery 23 calendar days from pickup, and I was given only 24 hours notice of delivery. Recommend you work directly with a moving company. Google the mover's DOT number and Broker vs Mover is shown. Also, the moving company at pickup said our 'stuff' took more space on the truck than Legacy's estimate and attempted to charge another $500. We did not move everything to manage the price increase. Learned my lesson. Work with a delivery company.

  We are very sorry this customer wasn't happy with their moving experience. Unfortunately, this delivery did take a little longer than we would have liked. For the distance travelled it was an estimated 3-10 business days for delivery and it took 15. If we had been made aware of the price increase during pickup we would have done everything we could to get the additional $500 waved. Legacy Moving Group has tried to contact this customer in an attempt to make things right but has yet to receive a response.
