      I received an official looking document from the so called property records office in ******* showing all of my property information telling me to pay $89 to get a copy of my recorded deed and property profile. I found this suspicious especially because it's an 'LLC'. After doing a bit of research I found that this is a private business basically deceiving people by posing as an official government office to get them to fork over $89! This is a scam and needs to stop. At the very least there needs to be a BOLD statement at the top of the document stating they are not associated with any government office. Any current small print explanation they claim is sufficient is NOT! Shame on them!

      We do have on our enveloped in bold print WE ARE NOT A GOVERNMENT OFFICE on the outside. So sorry you did not notice this. We have bold print in our letter this is a SOLICITATION. We also state THIS IS NOT A BILL. So sorry for any confusion. We have an email address for any questions and concerns and encouraging anyone to write to up for more answers.So sorry you fell this way. You never see the good on the BBB only the bad. We have a lot of people very grateful for our services. I can assure you those that use our services are very happy. I will consider this matter closed as we can use are time more productive.       I received a letter from County Records Office, LLC stating I could get a copy of my deed and other valuable information on my property. First home purchase and thought it was a good idea. On September 20,2022 the payment cleared the bank. Today is November 9, 2022 and I have not received anything from this company. I have tried 2 phone numbers with no success. I have tried to find an email on this company and I have found nothing. I want what I paid for. The letter stated after payment is received it would be sent to me within 14 days. It is way past the 14 days.

      I would like to research why you say you have not gotten your deed. We always make several attempts to get our deed out promptly. There are other companies that we have been confused with, that *** or *** not be the reason. Please contact us directly so we can see why you did not receive your deed. Often times if a deed comes back to us. The postal system has the mailing address as undeliverable. We are so sorry if indeed this is the problem. We always answer question threw email as all correspondence must be in righting. You should always contact us, before going through the BBB. We truly understand hardship. I encourage all to take the time to reach out to solve your problem before going to the BBB. We are very cooperative. For me to assist you further you will need to go to our email address us.       I am rejecting this response because:
      If you read my complaint you should of seen where I made attempts to contact you by telephone and tried to find an email address with no success. Your company is very difficult to communicate with. There is no doubt that you are the company that processed my payment on September 20,2022. To this day November 12,2022 I still have not received a copy of my deed or any thing else from your company. It is now well past the ************************** your letter. You say to contact you directly yet you only offer an indirect way of communication being an email. I am going to allow 7 days from this date before I take further legal action on this matter. Either provide me what I paid for or refund the money I paid.

      I am so sorry our letter upset you. We try and make sure everyone knows this is a solicitation and not a bill. Many people are grateful for us notifying them of a newer deed being recorded. Often times they are not even aware of this. We retrieve the records from the courthouse and often time a new deed is recorded even if there is not a sale on the property. Like Trusts, Refinancing, Probate, filing Homestead, a new Survey, or transfer into a spouses name for just a few. Please reach out to us on our email address for any further questions or concerns.       I can assure you we never focus on any age group. I would like to make a suggestion that you should correct the mailing address threw the courthouse. If you want to receive mail on her behalf. This letter was sent to her because this is the mailing address on file. Our intention is never to take advantage of anyone. We state in bold lettering on our envelope we are not a ***************** and in our letter we state in bold print this is a solicitation. We clearly understand the hardship our country is facing and jobs are loss and many layoffs and illnesses. We hope this letter finds you and her family well and do not wish both with an additional burden. We also inform anyone that emails us, that this is clearly optional and that this is not a bill. Please use the email address below to resolve this issue as we are more then willing to help any way possible. Please provide me with a review of our conversation once you email us. Thank you.       County Records Office LLC is an unethical and fraudulent company that attempts to impersonate a government agency and scam people into paying for a document that is a fraction the cost from the actual registrar.
