They are horrible been in the house for 6 month got backed up for 2 months because loss of job paid what I owed plus the actual rent of that current month then slap a notice on my door saying I owe 5k I get to court 10 days later theyre attorney saying I owe 7 I aint been in the house that long to owe over 10k mind you I was only backed up 2 months an paid it in full. This company charged me and my family 2x my rental payment to void contract 2 months early after being there for over a year and the only reason we had to leave was because of career relocation. THEN they sent me a bill for $2100 on top of taking my $1785 deposit for "damages" and painting the walls... i touched up the wall paint, with the paint they had left in the garage that was specified "interior" wall paint. this company is absolutely ridiculous and i will bury them on every single social media platform there is.Second Avenue Realty Florida, LLC

Please be aware that early termination fees, as well as charges for damages or painting, are outlined in your lease agreement. Regarding the painting, we truly appreciate your efforts to touch up the walls. However, wed like to clarify that the paint left in the garage was not intended for this type of use. Unfortunately, the walls were not returned to the same condition as at move-in. This is why we conduct both Move-In and Move-Out inspections with detailed photo documentation to ensure transparency. Absolutely horrible company. They do not care about people, all they want is your money. Our floors started ripping after one of the big storms. Cheap laminate floor peeling and planks coming off slowly expanding through the whole house. We have a one year old that is crawling, we called for 4 months begging for them to change the floors. We explained how our baby is able to pick up pieces of the floor while she is crawling. This is not only a choking hazard but also a trip hazard. All they did is send countless vendors for prices.. and 4 months later decided floors will not be replaced, but only glued back down whatever spots are coming off. Not only its still extremely unsafe but i find new spots of the floor peeling every single day. Besides the point that it looks absolutely horrible!! I am not paying over $2000 to live like this!!We then asked to move to another of their properties because we do not feel comfortable with a crawling baby living under these conditions. Their answer was no!!! No only that, we then asked to terminate our lease early and they said that was not an option. These people are absolutely horrible and i am excited to see lawyer papers coming their way.I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THEMSecond Avenue Realty Florida, LLC

**************** They recently acquired the property I am renting. They started a maintenance issue due to moisture in the walls. They sent a company out to rip apart my bathroom and kitchen to dry out the moisture. Now one month later, my kitchen and bathroom are still ripped apart. All I keep getting told is that they have to get bids approved. This should not take a month. Every time I call and inquire about the issue all I get told is that my case is under review. There is nothing to review, the repairs need to be made so my house is functional for myself and my son. DO NOT RECOMMEND/ DO NOT RENT! I reside in Jacksonville Florida, started leasing a property through this company on 01/28/25 and recently had to terminate my lease on 02/28/25! They leased me a home that needs to be condemned, black mold throughout every room, EXCESSIVE ROACH INFESTATION all in the appliances such as stove/ refrigerator! I could not use the kitchen at ALL. Excessive roach infestation throughout every room in the home coming out of the vents, closets, drains and they were German roaches. LEAKAGE throughout the roof in every room of the home possibly what was causing the mold to the extent of me having to go to urgent care constantly feeling sick, light headed, hacking and coughing all night as well as rashes on my skin. Everyone from the maintenance team, pest control, HVAC company that has had to come out within a month of me renting admitted the company GOT OVER on me. They make the lease out for you to accept the home under conditions of viewing however don’t include they fix the house up just enough for you to not notice the problems. Examples would be freshly painting over the MOLD and water stains in roof throughout home, using 1000 plug in fragrances to cover up any molding/ roach spray smells. The maintenance is not worth a penny, come out half fix things or just look around for 3 SECONDS and indicate it needs additional work, will contact you to schedule, and leave. Don’t get me started on how your work schedule DOES NOT matter to them. When they do decide to send maintenance out, they make sure its during the week day EARLY or on their time so its either take it or leave it leaving you with no other choice but to keep taking off work to ACCOMMODATE them. If you live in Florida, please review your Florida Statute laws, obtain an attorney, and don’t let up on this company. If I could include images of my experience I would, this is the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY in UNITED STATES to lease a property from. I GIVE 0 STARS, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!Second Avenue Realty Florida, LLC

When I say this is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Horrible company to deal with! Do not rent from them. Customer service is crap. Can not get a person to call you. Says they have to go by the lease yet they themselves don’t follow said lease. My yard service was included in the rent and per them it was to be done weekly yet it never was. When you email they say “well the vendor is having issues”! Trash was included in my rent before they took over the lease yet they would not cover it. Now dealing with trying to get my deposit back. The letter they send you when you turn in your notice to vacate says it “may take 30 days” yet I am well over and can o Lu get it is still processing. It only got started because I reached out day 30 due to not hearing anything from them. Still can’t get a human on the phone but no shocker there. Only giving 1 star cbecause I have to pick to port this.J. R.

My rent is not late and has been paid on time. I have since moved due to issues so there is no need to submit tickets. All correspondence is in email since you can never get a person on the phone.
