I purchased a 2020 RV from Lazy Days RV in Tampa at the end of June 2020. The unit it was listed for 229,000. I was able to buy it for 198,000. After four weeks we decided we wanted to trade up. We worked with a wonderful salesperson William P.. He was the only thing good about this experience. I was told I got a great deal on this unit for 198,000. So after 4 weeks we started to work on another deal. I was told that the GM said they would only give me 152,000 on the trade. Remember I have only have this for 4 weeks. So a unit that listed for 229,000 and sold for 198,000 (Great deal) is now only worth 152,000 on trade. As an executive in the retail business I understand making a profit however, This is a terrible and greedy business practice. This is the 3rd RV I have brought from Lazydays and have never had anything this happen before. As of 07/27/2020 The same model as mine is listed throughout the US for 219,000 to 229,000. Does this sound like I got a good deal? I would like to work a reasonable deal with Lazy Days and not lose 50,000 in four weeks. I am very disappointed with this company especially being a repeat customerBusiness Response

Update: 08/09/22 please open this case back up.
The following day 07/28/22 I received a phone call from David J**** a manager at Lazy Days. We spent a good amount of time on the phone discussing the very low trade offer of 152,000. He explained to me that they use nada value for the coaches and that the value had dropped 20k in the 4 weeks I owned it. However, I pulled up the NADA and the units were still selling at an avg of 200k on NADA for the same unit. He worked with me to get the price to 167k on trade and suggested that I look at an Allegra Red 37 PA they had on the lot. They sent me pictures and suggested that If I liked it, to put a 2,000 deposit down until I could come see the inside and drive it. We liked what we saw and did the buyers orders and got all the financing lined up. The catch is they took this unit on trade and the previous owners still had the keys. These owners were trading in on a new unit themselves and it needed to have the generator replaced.
These owners refused to give the keys to Lazy Days. Therefore, Lazy Days has advertised and owns a unit that they cannot sale. However, they took my money and I'm being refused access to see the inside or drive the unit. It's been two weeks since I gave a deposit, and the buyers orders were done. They have no idea when they can get the keys. I'm being held hostage because of Lazy Days poor business and unethical business practices. Why would any salesperson agree to allow a previous owner to keep the keys especially when they don't own the unit any longer?
They have refused to get the keys from the previous owners for the sake of possibly losing a sale? From my perspective the situation with the other people has no bearing on my deal in the least. How can you insist that I give to 2,000 to hold this high demand unit, (Using their words) advertise it on your website and kept a customer ready to close in limbo?
My finance rate is at risk of losing the locked rate if time continues to go on. This will be my 4th RV and certainly my last if this deal even happens. Corporate greed and hitting goals are evident with this company. Doing the right thing is easy to do if you follow sound ethical business principles. I'm disgusted with this organization. I'm still unhappy with the final deal they made with me but the high-pressure tactics and continual conversation of "we aren't making any money on this deal" was the primary theme they used. I have reviewed their earnings report for the last year and last quarter, and they are making plenty of money. (Net Profit). We just wanted to move along after this ordeal with the Allegra coach and now we can't, not to mention the money I'm losing on a booked camping trip.
BTW, I asked another sales manager Anthony to call me today and update me and he did not call. Is this how Lazy Days sets themselves apart from the rest? I would appreciate this letter getting to Executive Leadership for training and internal policy revisions if needed.

we purchased a 2015 Cruiser Viewfinder trailer that we saw in the LazyDays ad online..we called and spoke to salesman Chris..we said we were going to Arizona for June, July, and August to deal with medical issues and Doctors..we were told that the RV would be fine for that and was available to purchase..we did that over the phone from Tennesee on June 27..we then traveled to Arizona and did the walk through of the Rv on July 6..I commented on the AC not working and the breaker blew at that time..I was told to give it time..ultimately for about 7 days and many service ideas and tries, the service department put in a new 15000 AC unit and untwisted ducts..it still did not cool beyond 90-115 in the Rv..they then put in reflective covers on the windows (looks like a cave inside) and it did not go below 86..I asked Dan M****, the General Manager if his family could stay there and he said "no, they were from Colorado" and then he called next day and said they would do nothing else, but he could call a wholesaler to see what it was worth to buy us out..what??? we were told many misprepesentations of that Rv and capabilities and are left with an RV that is uninhabitable due to not being capable of what we had asked for and needed..due to breakers, inside unit maxed at 88, and insulation of that unitBusiness Response

The dealership replaced the AC and made some additional upgrades to aid in lowering the inside temperature. They monitored the temperature readings and determined the unit is performing within specifications.
In the higher temperatures in AZ, the unit is cooling within the manufacturer's specifications. According to the owner's manual, there can be an 18 to 22 degree differential between the ambient temperature and the temperature inside the unit.
Lazydays declines the request for refund. If the customer would like to look at trade options, we can have a member of our sales team reach out to them to discuss.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
while we appreciate the efforts made to rectify a totally unacceptable situation, it misses the point of the complaint..the salesman sold us a trailer that did not have a working a/c unit that kept flipping breakers as well..he knew we needed to stay in it for 3 months in arizona..we complained about the ac during walk thru and was told to give it time..we wuld not have bought that trailer! after "repairs and replacements and reflective shields on windows" it is a cave that does not meet the 20 degrees minimum to stay in it..we would have chosen a better insulated trailer or other choice that would have worked..it now sits in storage and has since two days after pickup..we were told a "wholesaler" could take a look at trailer for a trade in..need some kind of real priceInitial Complaint

My wife and I purchased a used Aliner Expedition camper from LazyDays in Anoka, MN in March 2021. We financed our camper and was offered a GAP Insurance policy which we purchased.
This past May, we paid off the loan and the finance company advised us to contact the dealer about a prorated refund of the GAP Insurance, which we promptly did.
Since May 31, we have contacted the Ramsey dealership 12 times (voice messages, emails and 2 phone conversations with our Sales Consultant).
After a couple of weeks of no replies, we contacted American Guardian Warranty Services about the Gap Insurance policy. They informed me on July 5th that everything has been cancelled on their end and Lazy Days should have been in contact with us by now about the refund.
I tried contacting Lazy Days several times since July 5th with no return phone calls.
On Friday, July 8th, I talked to our Sales Consultant. At that he assured me that he or the Finance Manager would call me on Monday, July 11. After not hearing from them by 3pm, I called the Sales Consultant and could not leave a message as his voice mailbox was full. I then sent him an email stating that I had not heard from them as promised. Shortly after sending the email, I received a call from the Finance manager.
He informed me that he was new to the position and had not been trained to handle the refund that I was seeking. He also informed me that he did receive my voices messages and should have called me but did not. During the conversation, I was asked to submit some documents to him (which has been completed) and he would move forward with the refund process. I asked how long that process would take and he could not give a me an answer other than 'I don't know.' (he also said he has 10 other customers waiting for refunds as well.)
We are requesting a full, not pro-rated, refund of $995.00 from LazyDays.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/07/20) */
Lazydays apologizes for the response delays the customer experienced. Once our warranty cancellation department receives the completed paperwork, our cancellation process can take up to six weeks to process and complete. *I have attached a copy of our warranty cancellation packet for review.
Our records indicate the cancellation department received the completed paperwork on June 23 and this is currently being worked through the process. Once completed, the prorated refund will be mailed to the customer.
Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/07/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We are not able to accept such a vague response. With technology today, I have a hard time understanding why the refund process takes 6 weeks. We need to know exactly what our refund will be and when the refund will arrive
Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/08/11) */
We apologize for any inconvenience, but the refund is from a third-party provider and we are unable to dictate their processes.
After following up with our warranty cancellation department, the refund check has been processed and mailed to the customer.
Consumer Response /* (2000, 14, 2022/08/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Check received. The case can be closed. There will be no future business dealings with any LazyDays dealership.
