    I placed an order in December 2024 for several 2025 calendars and only received part of the order on 12/26/24. The total order amount was $100. I sent the company emails and chat messages without any response. The price of the items not received is $49.75 and I also prepaid for shipping.

    The wall calendar and the pocket calendars sold out and the customer was issued a store credit for the $49.75. But if she prefers a refund, we can change it and issue it as a refund instead. Most of our customers opt for a store credit in lieu of a refund, especially for calendars if they were ordered late in the season. We apologize for the mix-up and will issue the refund right away.

    On January 9, 2025, I ordered a Black History - 2025 wall calendar for $15.95 for a total charge plus shipping of $22.90. I received a confirmation number and generic "Your order is confirmed.Youll receive an email when your order is ready", along with a order number. Close to month passes, so I reach out to them via phone and was told that they were a bit back logged, but that the calendar would be going out this ********* forward another month to Monday, March 10th, I submitted the following message to e-mail address: ************************************** (It's A Black Thang.com)"Greetings, I would like to know the current estimated delivery date of this order. This was intended to be a birthday present for my son back on the 23rd, but this lead time is very long. Please respond whenever possible."It's now Friday, March 14th, and no response. At this point now I know that I've been scammed, stupid me for actually trying to help Black Businesses. It's companies like this that ruin the experience for other legitimate small minority and woman owned businesses. Is there anything that can be done to assist?

    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience surrounding this customers order. The item in questiona wall calendarwas ordered in January, which is toward the end of the calendar season. By that time, many popular titles have already sold out. While we try to forecast demand, we begin placing calendar orders as needed in January, since publishers typically do not allow returns on unsold calendars.
    We understand the frustration this caused and have issued a full refund of $22.90 to the customer.

    Our company has proudly served customers for over 20 years and has built a reputation for offering unique and culturally meaningful products. While we acknowledge that theres always room for improvement, especially in communication and fulfillment, isolated issues do not reflect the overall customer experience.     I placed an order on January 2nd for a figurine and it has never arrived. I have ordered consistently from.**** company for the past 14 years without trouble UT scanning the complaints I see that my current situation is not unique. I have reached out by email several times and no one has bothered responding. This was a birthday present for ************ and it's been almost a month. I expected at least the courtesy of a reply if not accurate information regarding inventory or supply chain challenges.

    We had to reorder this item and it's late coming in from *****. We expect to receive our shipment within the next two weeks and we will ship the customers order as soon as they come in. There are looming issues with possible tariffs on products coming from ***** that may cause a delay, but we will keep the customer updated on any issues. We responded earlier to the customer via our chat system but apparently, she didn't receive it. We apologize to her for the delay and for any inconvenience.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have sent multiple emails and not received a response. It is alleged that a response was sent via chat but I did not receive that and only used the chat following three failed email attempts. The BBB page is full of complaints similar to mine with similar excuses. Knowing that their items are often ordered for gifts and may be time sensitive common courtesy would included at the very least a response without having to go to such extreme measures. The current response still does not offer a time frame in which I can expect to receive this order. If the item needed to be shipped from ***** the website should NOT indicate that it is in stock so that the customer has an opportunity to make an informed decision regarding where to place their order!

    We sincerely apologize for the delay in fulfilling this customers order. The Age 14 Birthday Girl figurines are currently on backorder due to international shipping delays. Recent changes in tariff policies have caused unpredictable shipping costs and longer transit times for certain imported items, which has impacted our ability to restock this product in a timely manner. While these challenges are outside of our control, we take full responsibility for the lack of timely communication and understand the customers frustration. As a gesture of goodwill, we are offering to refund the shipping charges if the customer chooses to keep the order open. Alternatively, were happy to issue a full refund if they prefer not to wait. The customer will also be notified automatically when the item is back in stock, should they wish to reorder.

    I placed an order on November 17 with a 710 day delivery expectation. As it got closer to the date I needed the items I emailed the company and at that time they sent a partial order which still wasnt received in time. I then requested a return label which I never got and a refund for the items not received. I would like a refund for items not received.

    I order a jacket from Its A Black Thang.com and never received it after 3 months of no response from customer service.

    The Negro Leagues Baseball jackets are drop-shipped directly from our supplier. This order, processed several months ago, should have been shipped and delivered by now. Upon checking with our supplier, we discovered that the item was not shipped due to the unavailability of size 4X at that time, causing the order to be set aside. Although the size 4X is now in stock, the order was not reactivated. We acknowledge this error on our part and extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have a limited stock of size 4X available should the customer wish to proceed with the purchase. Additionally, we will issue a refund for the shipping charges as compensation for this oversight.

    Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to formally file a complaint against Its a Black Thang.com regarding a leather jacket I purchased on March 3, 2024. The total amount charged for this item was $217.95, which I paid in full. Despite my timely payment and the companys confirmation of my order, I have not received the jacket as of the date of this letter. I have made several attempts to contact the company via email and phone to resolve this issue, but my inquiries have gone unanswered. This situation is unacceptable, as the company has failed to deliver the product I paid for or provide any updates regarding the status of my order. I am requesting the immediate issuance of a full refund of $217.95. Enclosed with this letter are copies of the purchase receipt, order confirmation, and any relevant correspondence to substantiate my claim.

    On 7/17/2024 I ordered a set- an oven mitt and potholder and haven't received it. I paid $25,95 and $8.95 For shipping for a total of $34.90. I have emailed twice and went on their help chat. No response to my emails and the chat said that my order is in process. I should have read the reviews before placing my order.

    Ordered merchandise from this company on 12 Jan 2024 for $216 under order #*****. Seemed legitimate as I patiently anticipated the order arrival. It's been over 2 months, and nothing has arrived. Contacted the company and they come back with the typical "items back ordered" delay tactic. Gave this company a chance and looking at other customer complaints on this company, it now seems that I will be left with the 'empty bag'. Never again...Hopeful for refund and nothing else.
